We are a coaching first program designed to improve overall strength and conditioning. The types of workouts include HIIT, LIIT, BodyBuilding, Mobility and more. You are coached every single time you enter the door, which is essentially personal training, but done in a group setting. We also include 24/7 access to the gym with cardio equipment, full weights to bodybuild and focus on your goals.
We have 4 month goal sessions to ensure you are working toward your goals and enjoying your time here at CFC.

My husband and I were visiting family from out of town. Mike was very responsive and very accommodating, allowing us access to the open gym early so that we could continue our routine despite being on vacation. We did get to do a class with Shannon and we had a lot of fun with the people in the class and Shannon was very encouraging. All in all it was a great experience, one that we will gladly repeat on our next visit.

I’ve been doing CrossFit for over 10 years, and I’ve been at CrossFit Culpeper for almost 5. From what I’ve seen, the coaches are knowledgeable and do a great job motivating everyone at the gym by being friendly and encouraging. Also the 24/7 access is great because you can still access the gym if you aren’t able to make a workout.

This place is just the best. Coaches scale all movements to where you’re currently at to keep you safe but getting stronger and fitter at the same time. You can come in semi-fit or straight off your couch. Just come in and give it a shot. 💪

Culpeper CrossFit has been a disappointing experience. I have been a member for about 8 years and it has really gone downhill. The coaching is subpar, with little to no real instruction or correction on form. Some of the people leading classes aren’t even certified, which is concerning. Without proper guidance, it’s no surprise that no one here seems to be making any real progress. The programming is poorly structured, lacking any real progression or strategy.
The atmosphere is completely unmotivating. There’s no real energy just lots of complaining and the focus seems to be on everything except CrossFit. Instead of prioritizing good coaching, programming, and member progress, there’s too much attention on side projects and distractions. To make matters worse, the gym is dirty, the bathroom isn't well-maintained, and dogs are constantly running around, which is both distracting, unsafe, and unsanitary. Rules seem to apply to some people and not others.
The unlimited membership is pricey at $165 a month and you're supposed to get body scans but the machine broke 5 months ago and hasn't been replaced. You're supposed to get nutrition counseling but mostly what's recommended is processed foods filled with dyes, high fructose corn syrup, chemicals and fake sugar. While benefits have disappeared, the price continues to increase.
If you’re serious about CrossFit and want a gym that actually focuses on quality coaching, structured programming, and progress, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

CrossFit Culpeper is the most well-rounded, invested and flexible gym program that I've ever encountered. After years of on-and-off memberships and various training routines, it wasn't until I landed at CCFC that I truly engaged with something meaningful and sustainable. Once you commit, there's no going back!
Both coaches and members are top-notch, supportive and driven - and have mastered a non-invasive approach to providing great customer service that works for each person's unique personality or level of motivation. I always appreciate the balance between truth/goals vs. the occasional struggle to stay the course.
The group dynamics during the workouts are also the icing on the cake and make exercise fun/engaging! You don't have to go it alone! That itself makes showing up worthwhile, knowing that no matter what the workout entails, you'll feel good afterwards - already looking forward to returning the next day.
Two years ago, I was new to CrossFit. There can be a steep learning curve with the lingo, method, etc. It may seem daunting at first, but Coaches Mike, Alyssa, Ronda & Stephanie are always there to provide good information on scaling, proper form, areas of improvement, etc. And all workouts are totally scalable, meaning that no matter what your level of fitness might be or if you're new to a gym, there's a place for you. Because let's face it, there is no one size fits all.
They'll make time for you and guide you through your journey. I recently moved from Virginia to North Carolina, and still struggle to replace my CrossFit Culpeper fam. Also, shout out to long-time member Sarah P Vernon who was always there to help, inspire and keep me on track with any given exercise or challenge!! She and others made me laugh (I'm thinking of you, Serena), while keeping me accountable. They are all missed!
If you're on the fence or wanting to find a way to exercise and improve your overall health, mobility and energy levels - don't put it off. Your body will thank you. CCFC is a gem - don't waste an opportunity to participate in a unique gym experience. Try it!

The coaches are very knowledgeable and patient in introducing me to CrossFit and helping me continue on my fitness journey. Everyone has been very supportive and helpful, and I can honestly say say I have made many new friends during the past year and a half or so I have been going there. I would encourage anybody regardless of where they are in their fitness journey to give CrossFit Culpeper a chance.

Gym is nice, people that work out there are cool, BUT Alyssa needs to stop being nasty to people and talking badly about them and have more respect for others. I think if you are going to work in this industry then you should watch what you say and realize you need to act accordingly and if NOT then find a different environment to be in because people will NOT respect you if you do NOT respect others and personally I wouldn’t want her as my coach after how she has displayed herself and spoken to others. Treat people with respect and kindness NOT judgement and snickering nasty remarks. Be encouraging not judge-mental and just mean if you ask me.

I have been in VA for 3 years and STRUGGLED to find a gym that felt like home until I went to CrossFit Culpeper. Everyone at the gym has been so welcoming and immediately welcomed me into the group. More importantly, CrossFit is known for it's hard working atmosphere and community and that's exactly what you will get here. Don't listen to what others say, come and find out for yourself. They embody everything about the CrossFit community and I am beyond thankful to be a part of this group. I've been missing this for 3 years. I'm glad I'm home.

I started with this gym in 2017. Looking for some more support and accountability to get back into shape. It’s 2023 and I’m still here. I also joined the staff in 2020 as a coach. I’m a no drama, no clique person and I don’t involve myself with those kinds of groups. And what I love is that we don’t have it here. We support our gym family. We assist in helping our members and each others achieve goals. And we back up who we are with authenticity.

I was a bit nervous about joining in general because I was always afraid of not being able to keep up. From day 1, I’ve learned that I have the support system to succeed. Yes, I was still nervous but from the coaches to other members you find the guidance and support to push through. Don’t get me wrong, your body is pushed to limits you probably never experienced in a regular gym but the benefits are far better. I’ve only been doing this for 2 months now, and I definitely have better stamina than ever. Here at CrossFit, I’ve found the guidance from my coaches, and the support from other members to push past my fears. So, my many thanks to the coaches and the other members of my new CrossFit family.

The Warrenton location is a more professional organization run by mature people, not some clown with a Napoleon complex. For $140/mo you'd expect more. Also there are some extremely judgmental people that work here. Overall, not a great place for starting out with crossfit.

Excellent CrossFit box. All the people I have met their extremely nice and competitive. Coach Duff extremely knowledgeable of all the CrossFit movements, and goes out of his way to help you when you do not know one. I really like the 24 /7/365 plan I can work out anytime I want.

Dropped in a few times over two weeks and I loved it. I’ve been and several CrossFit gyms in several states and CrossFit Culpeper is certainly one of my favorites. Coach Mike is knowledgeable with a great sense of humor and other athletes and helpful and welcoming. Programming was though but has great options for all types of participants from beginners to competitive athletes. 100% recommend for experienced CrossFitters and anyone looking to try it out. You’ll get hooked!

My granddaughter has attended tumbling classes for almost a year, and she loves her classes, and all the coaches. The coaches have great qualifications, and are so good with the children. Michael (owner) is always there making everyone feel like family, and I am so thankful that he offers this tumbling program.

My youngest daughter does gymnastics here and the staff are so great with the kids. They spend time working with them on their skills and are so encouraging. They also work with where your child is at within their abilities and accommodate changes as needed. My daughter was slightly above where the others were in her age group so they allowed her up into the next class so she could be challenged. They send weekly emails to remind you of your class time and are very flexible if you need to switch here and there for any reason. Very easy to reach out to! Definitely recommend them!

I joined Crossfit Culpeper after decades of running interspersed with strength sessions at a mainstream gym. I have seen gains in my total body fitness and aerobic capacity at Crossfit that I was never able to achieve on my own. I am stronger, more flexible, running more efficiently, and enjoying my workouts more than ever before. I highly recommend CFC to anyone who wishes to dedicate an hour of their day to their physical health no matter what shape you are in. This is by far the best gym I have ever been to. The coaches genuinely care about each of the members and their goals. You cannot beat the community of members and the encouragement you receive from each person working out with you. I enjoy the structure of each workout so it takes the guesswork out of what you have to do. It's amazing to see everyone's results and how supportive each and every member is of everyone's journey. The coaches are very knowledgeable about not just the movements, but the body and how it moves. This is very important for injury prevention when working out. I highly recommend coming out and giving CrossFit Culpeper a try!
