I've done the Dance with Me class at the Quantico location and at the Stafford location and the Tumble with Me class at the Quantico location.
The dance with me classes are teacher led classes that you do with your child. The tumbler with me classes are more free play with gymnastics equipment that you do with your child.
I highly recommend these classes for your little!

Dance & Gym Expressions is a truly family-oriented place! Being a family-run business, you can genuinely feel the love and warmth among the staff and towards your child. After enrolling my 4-year-old daughter in another studio closer to home, we quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit for her. The teachers there were unfriendly and lacked control over the toddlers and young kids, making us feel like just another paying number rather than valued members of the community.

When we returned to D&G, we were met with warmth and familiarity; they remembered my daughter’s name and welcomed her back with open arms. The way they teach is fantastic—they understand children’s limitations and create an environment that encourages fun without pressure. My daughter had lost interest in dance at the other studio because it was no longer enjoyable, but at D&G, she loves every moment! The caring teachers recognize that she may not be an Olympic champion, but they treat her with kindness and joy, which makes all the difference.

Additionally, their talent shows are impeccably organized and professionally conducted. Unlike the chaos of open seating at the other studio, I felt like I was in the "Wild Wild West" at the other place, where people were saving seats for those who never showed up and almost violent if you even asked if the seat was taken. D&G allows you to reserve your seat in advance so it won’t be like a Black Friday trying to get seats the day of the event. This makes the experience so much more enjoyable.

A huge thank you to Ms. Jenny, Ms. Lexi, and Ms. Sally for just being so great!! If you’re looking for a nurturing environment where your child can truly thrive, I highly recommend Dance & Gym Expressions!

My niece has attended for a little while now and this location needs some internal regrouping. 1) your bathroom is disgusting and you have little ones in leotards who have to practically undress all bottom to use it. Please clean it asap. 2) your teachers need to understand classroom management and focus on making sure all children are engaged. As a former dance teacher myself, I've never seen so many kids left to the side while others go on. If you have different levels of skill, either learn how to bond or just say this is new to you. Not sure how much longer she will last here.

GREAT STUDIO! There are many to choose from, but cannot go wrong with this one. The Staff is amazing, special thanks to Ms. Sally for welcoming my daughter from the first time we walked in (June 2021). My Princess is in the combination class consisting of ballet, tap, and gymnastics for beginners. She loves it and anything that makes her smile is good in my book. She is not only enjoying herself, but is learning so much. She is motivated prior to any session she has attended. Anxiety is of no consequence when she feels so comfortable.

I'm proud to have witnessed the "Frozen" dance recital which was the first experience for my daughter. It was amazing. All involved contributed to a very memorable production. I cannot wait to receive the digital video to share with Family and friends.

Special thanks to Owner, Instructor, and Woman of God - Mrs. Jennifer Jones (Ms. Jenny). My daughter and I are forever grateful; words cannot express. THANK YOU. 🙏🏾

Signed up not even 2 weeks ago and we’re already pulling our daughter out and going somewhere else. First week her entire class doesn’t show and my daughter is playing alone. Teacher said this never happens and things should be normal next week. We come next week, there is one other family inside waiting for class to start at 10:15. We were happy cause today my daughter would at least get to play with 1 other kid. We were sitting in the lobby waiting and a Jennifer (old white lady) comes into the room and says “I hope you all aren’t magically expecting class today.” I told her “why would you say that so rude? We just signed up and clearly your communications not very good if other families are waiting in the lobby for class too.” She said families have been told we’re closed for the next 2 weeks due to spring break.” I said “We just signed up the week prior and it’s not our fault no one informed us. My daughter is 2 so spring break doesn’t mean anything, you also could have called, texted or emailed us as well, plus their is a class going on so this is all very weird to hear from a teacher.” She said she was there to teach a yoga class and all the other classes are closed and then gladly gave me the info to complain while constantly repeating her name. We emailed and a Mrs. Jenny is the one replying to us not apologetic for the situation they put us in lmao. Obviously we’re done wasting our time and money here.

I sincerely hope D&D Gym Expression doesn’t “magically” expect our continued business with employees like these. -Justice Family

My daughter takes gymnastics with Ms. Jenny at the Quantico Base facility and loves it! Ms. Jenny incorporates learning into fun, energy releasing gymnastics play! She keeps the facility clean and is really great with the students! The price is excellent too! Highly recommend!

The most important thing to me was that my 3 year old had fun and enjoyed her experience with her ballet/gymnastics class. And she did just that. She had so much fun in both ballet and gym class and keeps asking when she can go again! Is the facility brand new and shiny?? No, it’s not but my child didn’t notice that at all. What she did notice was how she felt inside and how much fun she had!!! And that’s the best kind of review!

I would give 0 stars if i could. I walked in yesterday to sign up and immediately smelled a mixture of what i'm sure was mold, mildew, wet walls & a whole bunch of febreeze trying to cover it up, as i was walking through the front door. The studio was dirty, old and the smell was so bad, i nearly had to use my asthma inhaler. I could not sign my child up with good conscious. This is definitely not a place for us. Don't bother. 2015
