Iβve been training with Josh for the last 18 months. Since then, Iβve gained about 20 lbs of muscle mass. Iβd recommend Dominion Barbell and Josh more than any other gym because of how personal it feels. Josh is very knowledgeable about health/fitness/nutrition and never hesitates to help each of his clients on a personal level. Whether your goal is to lose weight or gain muscle, this is the place to be!

I've trained with josh for over 8 years. He puts the personal in personal training and understands what will work for me personally to achieve my fitness goals. I've been to several trainers and have never had a better experience. I would reccomend Josh to anyone with any fitness goal. He is friendly yet no-nonsense and knows what you need to do to get results. I never leave my workouts disappointed.

Josh is by far the best trainer I've worked with!!! He trains by focusing on the big barbell movements, but he'll get you up to speed and make sure you have the right form before having you go heavy. The gym it'self doesn't *appear* to be anything special - there's a few barbell racks, a dumbbell rack, a few (3?) machines, a some odds and ends. It's Josh's experience and incredible knowledge of the way the human body moves and which muscles (including all the little stabilizers) are involved in which motions.
Josh develops individualized plans to each person/group based around their specific goals. You're a college athlete trying to up your game? He's got you cover. You want to be a firefighter? A marathon runner? Go into special ops in the military? He's got you covered. If you stick with Josh, show up, and put in the effort to do your best, his training plan for you will get you anywhere you want to go.
We all know that book knowledge isn't enough by itself. Josh is also a super cool guy and seems to be able to train a wide variety of personality types and get along with most everyone. But at the same time, he's a bit no nonsense, but in a good way. He'll chat with you about just about anything as a long as you're also getting you workout done, but if you stop for too long he'll do his best to motivate you to get going again. You're there to train in the end right?
In the past year, I've lost 18 pounds. I'm 5'7 and weighed 160 pounds when I started in May 2018. I didn't have a huge amount to drop, but by training with Josh I actually reach my goals and then get to set new ones! The best experience I could ever hope for in personal training, bar none!

I have been training with Josh for about 3 months so far. Heβs incredibly talented at viewing your weaknesses and strengths and using that knowledge to train you efficiently to achieve your goals. I have trained in various ways throughout my life β including other coaches, trainers, and personal training apps. None of them have compared to the personal detail that Josh gives. Due to his continuous and relentless encouragement, I am now training harder than ever before and feel stronger every day. I would highly recommend Josh and Dominion Barbell.

I have been training on and off with Josh for over 10 years. I am a competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete and I can always count on Josh to prepare me for upcoming tournaments. What's so great about Josh is that he tailors workouts to each individual client and what their needs are, whether that be power lifting, weight loss, triathlons, or a combat sport like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. If you train at Dominion Barbell you won't be put through the same workout as the next Joe coming through the door. I am extremely happy with my experience and highly recommend Josh and Dominion Barbell to anyone looking to take their training to the next level.

If you want a great trainer Dominion Barbell is the place to go. As an athlete who had to adapt to disabled sport, I had talked to numerous trainers who wanted nothing to do with me due to my risks. A neighbor recomend Josh, who took on my training without a second thought. Josh genuinely cares for his clients and saw potential beyond my losses.
Dominion Barbell is a no fuss gym, but don't let that fool you, you can make tremendous gains if you work with Josh. His methods are tried and true. He tailors training to each individual's needs to get the best gains possible. The key is to come in ready to work hard and he will guide you all the way.
The last 4 months Josh has helped me discover strength I never knew I could gain. He has helped me become faster on my handcycle. His training has allowed me to better handle anxiety from my physical limitations. Training at Dominion Barbell has strengthened daily living skills that physical therapy failed to help. Most of all Josh has become a friend and an advocate for me when I have moments I question myself. He is showing me that I can be the athlete I was before in a new stronger capacity. I am thankful to see progress, and I look forward to see that continue.

I love training at this gym! I have been training with Josh for over four years. My strength in all three lifts for Powerlifting have increased significantly and I would never go back to a box gym again. Josh is highly intelligent and knows how to design programs and push you towards your goals.

I started strength and conditioning training at Dominion Barbell with Josh in December 2016 and switched to power lifting in August 2017. Josh is extremely knowledgeable and explains the benefit of each exercise. Josh will not sugar coat anything for you, when you show up you better expect to work hard. If you are looking for a no nonsense trainer to help you achieve a specific fitness goal, Dominion Barbell is the place for you.

Josh pushes me to better myself each workout and even answers questions throughout the week about health tips and recovery. Heβs taken me to my very first powerlifting meet and helped me throughout it all. Heβs very dedicated and pushes all his clients to better themselves and build up our strength. Iβve worked with dominion Barbell got 9 months now and donβt see myself leaving anytime soon!

This is a great gym to work out at. The trainer, Josh, is a great guy and really knows his stuff when it comes to the technical aspects of weight training. He also has a way of pushing you during the workout beyond what you think you are capable of. I highly recommend Dominion Barbell. If you are serious about trying to get in shape they can help you.

Very friendly staff. I have trained with Josh Wehrmann for about a year and half. Great trainer. He gives tough workouts that will push you and help you reach your goals. Whether it be strength training, weight loss, etc.. Josh will get you there, no doubt.

I have been training with Josh since November, 2014. I was approaching 500 lbs, my diabetes was uncontrolled, and I was tired of feeling powerless and miserable. My first session put my lack of strength and stamina in stark contrast and I almost didn't want to come back I was so disgusted and embarrassed. He has single-handedly kept me motivated and on track, and now I'm not only down 80lbs but I have gotten my diabetes under *tight* control and have gotten off my BP med. He's also gotten me to the point where I look FORWARD to going to the gym because of the environment he fosters with his clients. I can't express how much I encourage anyone looking to get their health on track to work with him. You *WILL NOT* regret it.
