The FitPhil Zone is located in Mechanicsville and New Kent, VA. Both gyms are 24/7 access to a variety of exercise equipment while offering a private feel without the loud gym crowds, gym germs, smell, or waiting for equipment like big box commercial gyms.
FitPhil Zone is clean with a non-crowded environment, fully equipped with new cardio, updated strength, core, functional and toning equipment all for a very affordable weekly or monthly rate. Our Mechanicsville location offers a self-monitored kid zone so parents can get their workout while their child plays or does homework in the designated space provided.

This gym was great however the owners make it nearly impossible to cancel your membership. Part of the reason I joined this gym was the flexibility to cancel as I knew it was going to be temporary as I was moving. They require you to send a letter through the mail to cancel (crazy in 2025). I sent a letter dated 1/10 and texted a picture of the letter to Phil which he acknowledged. On 2/10 I texted to follow up to ensure my account was canceled as requested in the letter. No response. Finally after 9 days and 3 follow up texts I get a response that they did not receive my letter and could not cancel my account. If you want to operate a virtual business with no onsite staff you need to be able to operate online not via snail mail and hopes that your letters are reaching the north pole.

Let me tell you, this place was a GOD SEND after my last gym canceled my membership without my permission for no good reason!…I struggled with looking for a new gym because I don’t like big gyms or big crowds. By the grace of God I found this place at the right time. I have been going to this location (Mechanicsville gym) for about two months now and I LOVE IT! It’s small and tucked away from crowds, but yet has a great variety of equipment…Along with some small amenities like a water cooler and towels! So glad I found this place!!! :)

Great private gym experience. They have a nice selection of both free weights and machines necessary for strength and functional training. I’ve been going for a few months now and have never experienced it being too crowded or busy, and it being open 24/7 is very convenient.

I absolutely love the FitPhil gym! It’s clean, safe, the price is very reasonable, and best of all, they have an area for my kids to hang out while I exercise! I can go anytime it’s convenient for myself and my family, and I never have to wait to use any of the equipment! There is a wide variety of both weight and cardio machines to help with any of your fitness goals. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable! They are always ready to answer any questions you may have, and they offer one on one training. I’m so happy to have discovered this gym!

Not over crowded… clean… well equipped… towels… towelettes to clean equipment… chill vibe… cold water… CLEAN BATHROOMS!
