Functional Fitness VA is a premier private gym in Falls Church, VA (Fairfax County), helping you improve how your body feels and moves since 2011. Our certified trainers provide personal training and small group fitness classes including Kettlebell, Bootcamp, Barbell, Movement, and HYROX training. As an official HYROX Affiliate Gym in Northern Virginia, we offer HYROX classes and workshops to build endurance, strength, and performance. Located at 2840 Graham Road between the Little City of Falls Church and the Mosaic District, we are your local destination for functional fitness, injury prevention, and athletic training.

Functional fitness is an amazing gym for people of all skill levels. The personal trainers are super knowledgeable and effective. I have a couple of injuries and Kavon has taken extra time to focus strengthening/rehabing these areas as well as building an at-home and long-term exercise plan that I can use moving forward.
Although I haven't, they do offer a ton of different classes which are very popular as well.
I highly recommend functional fitness because as its name States the fitness is geared towards the function and betterment of your life. Weight training, strength training, aerobic exercise, diet, and health all rolled into one service, A++
Oh and the facility is super clean and well-designed!

I love Func Fit! I have been going regularly to the evening classes for over a year. The community I’ve found at Func Fit is supportive, empowering and fun. The trainers are very knowledgeable and work with you through injuries and limitations without judgement. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for more than 10 years during which time they’ve adapted to help me meet my evolving fitness goals from strengthening my core to resolve my back pain to marathon, Ragnar, and Spartan training to, this past weekend, competing in Hyrox NYC. They became a Hyrox affiliate and helped us place 7th in our age group (women’s doubles) out of 85 teams. We’ll be training at Functional Fitness again for Hyrox Dallas.
Beyond the highly skilled and helpful trainers, the gym is a tight knit, diverse community that looks out for each other. There are monthly happy hours, special workouts on holidays, and events the gym trains for together multiple times per year. If you want a fitness community with all expertise but more humility than you typically find, this is your gym.

Of the many gyms I've belonged to including 4 class oriented gyms, Functional Fitness is by far the most instructional, and as the name describes, the most life-functional. While many gyms have instructors who bark commands and offer little else during classes, the owners/trainers at FuncFit are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, assisting their clients whether during a class or during a private session. While FuncFit is kettlebell focused (and you quickly understand the benefits), the gym incorporates additional equipment and additional class options to help increase strength, mobility, agility, and power for clients of all ages and abilities. Their slogan accurately describes the physical benefits of FuncFit: "Move better get stronger", but it's much more than that.

Beyond grateful for this gym! The trainers are amazing and so are all of the people who work out there. They meet you where you’re at in your fitness skills. They focus on teaching the correct way to lift. Would recommend to anyone!

I’ve been trying different workouts via class pass and this was the best one I’ve done so far. Really enjoyed the personalized workout and being pushed to workout without being pushed into painful/injurious movements. Would highly recommend!

Great gym with amazing personal trainers. I can keep gushing over the great trainers, but it's the members that prove time and again with their love that this is a great gym. Never work you out to death. All the people are friendly and easy to talk to. Their classes are never over crowded so you still get that personal touch like you're working one one with an trainer.

The Func Fit Team, both the trainers and members, are hardworking and fun loving. The extremely knowledgeable and reliable staff provides a fantastic atmosphere for anyone at any level to improve their strength, mobility, and flexibility through personal training sessions or a variety of challenging classes. You feel like family when the team works with you to master an action, technique, or work around an injury. They focus on the big picture ensuring you develop mentally, emotionally, and physically in a safe progression. And it's fun!
