This place has had decent staff, generally an acceptable work out location, but it’s closing in July 2019. The staff was notified 2 hours before the members and they have no opportunity to transfer. This bad rating is on golds gym as a corporation, this kind of poor planning is a shame. Feel bad for the people working here despite of the obviously lack of investment from the top. It’s amazing this is one of the highest per capita income county in the country but a decent gym is a hard find!?

I have been going to this gym for years. The trainers are friendly and always willing to offer some advice or help if your technique needs tweaking. You don't get the feeling that you are being judged like in other gyms, goers are often very friendly and supportive. I go early in the mornings and there is never a wait for the machine I need.

Great Gym to get a great all around work out! The Staff is amazing and will go out of their way to help you out on health, nutrition and work out recommendations. No need for a spa when you need to get a sweat on. Great space and never bothered by others. All of the gym goers are friendly and respectful.

Been a member of Golds for 12+ years and have been going to Leesburg Golds for 6 years. After many suggestions, it hasn't improved.
Before I start, the front desk staff, trainers, and class teachers have always been nice and helpful people.
Major equipment and layout is okay but I can't say much for locker room cleanliness nor the class calendar. Quite often the locker room is dirty, the wifi is broken, TV channels are minimal, and the headphone jacks don't work. I quit doing in the a.m. this year due to the shower conditions. I've also complained to corporate many times and haven't seen much each time they hire a new manager.
This gym could be considered acceptable until you start using it as a daily gym to use and get ready for work in in the morning. Just going in for a workout is fine as long as you don't need a jump rope and you only like news and infomercials while you do cardio.
I typically use Gold's Gym Westridge in Frederick Maryland so I see what a Gold's Gym can be compared to what this one actually is. I have nothing but positive things to say about Gold's Gym Westridge.9

Friendly people and not overly crowded but the establishment is run down and old. It's not a convenient gym in terms of equipment placement and layout. What really did it for me is the horribly dirty locker rooms.

This location is bigger than most of the other corporate Gold's Gym in the area. It pretty much clears out after seven.

This is the oldest gym in the area. Staff is friendly. The selection of equipment is good and equipment in need of repair is usually fixed promptly. The location is great and membership fees are very reasonable. The gym has ample parking and is easy to access. Due to its age it isn't the best looking gym in the area but in the end it gets the job done.

It's a decent gym, the staff leave you be unless you come to them first. Always kept clean (including the locker rooms), and the staff do their best to keep up with the mass of weights that are usually left out.

Never again....took me over 7 month's to cancel my gym membership with this gym....
And yes provided all necessary paperwork for cancellation when I left the state and relocated with my job.

I love my gym! Super friendly staff> always smiling! A general manager who is involved and actually care, great trainers and super approachable. Separate free-weight room, Hammer Strength equipment, Lifefitness, Cybex, lots of cardio, super clean. Big parking. I love it. No fancy pantsy gym, over here you come to workout!
