Holy Yoga is the intentional practice of connecting our entire being, body, mind and spirit with God: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. With complete reliance on God’s Word and prayer, Holy Yoga invites us to surrender and introduces us to Grace. When we breathe and move and have our being in Christ, we find ourselves in the flow of His magnificence. There is often a misunderstanding that yoga is a religion; it is not. Yoga is a spiritual discipline, much like prayer, fasting and meditation. Yoga has the capacity to enhance our personal beliefs and faith.

I am forever grateful that God brought Doran and Holy Yoga into my life. The first time practicing yoga with a fully christ centered intention was an overwhelmingly spiritual experience where the Lord's presence was palpable. I struggle with words to explain it which is why I strongly encourage everyone I encounter to try it! In fact, it was so powerful I committed to the 200 hour instructor training which has reshaped my life and my walk with Christ in a way I will forever be grateful for. I am so glad to have had this opportunity and so appreciative to Doran for offering such a beautiful modality for connection to Christ, meditation on His word, and fostering Christian fellowship and community!

I completed my 5th session of holy yoga tonight with Doran. Doran has a way of really pulling spiritual, mental, and physical stretching together. I have been very blessed by the ease of this program. The atmosphere of the studio is calming, uplifting, and relaxing while also being invigorating. Only in holy yoga can you learn about a pigeon pose while digging into the meaning of the beatitudes from Scripture!

What a treasure this studio is. God has blessed Doran with an ability to speak His word into each movement & breath taken on the mat and to befriend every person who comes in for a yoga class.

I can't say enough about Doran's yoga and the atmosphere at Holy Yoga of the Shenandoah Valley. She truly has a way of weaving the gospel into breath and movement. I always leave feeling connected, centered, filled up and encouraged. :)

Highly recommend Doran and Holy Yoga of the Shenandoah Valley! Holy yoga is a wonderful time to spend in the presence and relaxation of Gods word! Doran is a beautiful spirit inside and out and we are so fortunate to have her sharing her gifts here in the Shenandoah Valley!
