The parking situation at Horizons Edge is very disorganized, and crowded. If you are going to charge $20 for admission the least this facility can do is make an adequate parking lot. It is so congested making it very difficult to enter and exit without getting very close to hitting and cutting off other vehicles. This needs to be worked on ASAP for the safety of everyone & their vehicles. Thank you.

The parking here is so terrible that I avoid this place all together. The incompetence of making a sports facility with this many activities and this many court, fields and facilities while neglecting the parking situation is STAGGERING. If you are coming here on a Saturday, expect to circle the "lot" at least twice. Lot is doing a lot of heavy lifting there, it's really just 3 rows of spaces, then various ad hoc band aids they pretend is sufficient. It's not. Imagine have to park for a children's gymnastics class a quarter mile away, then walking along the drive while every other parent dropping their kid off drives past you, looking for their spot. It's ridiculous. They should be ashamed of how poorly they handle this situation every single week. They say they are working on it, but the situation seems to worsen year after year When my two kids don't sign up for gymnastics next session, the parking situation is the number one reason why.

It is in its own little corner, but offers so much. The facilities are clean and well managed. Came for a tournament and they had plenty of food options at the cafe. My friend’s youngest was able to rock climb in between events. Perfect spot for youth into sports!

Terribly run business. Disrespectful and rude. Our team started a new season, had everyone pay to register. On the first day of our new season, the same day we paid $80 each for the season, the other team doesn't show up, so our team tries to play a pickup game among ourselves for practice in the scheduled time slot that the match was originally going to be. After only about 20 mins of the practice run, a guy, an employee, comes barking at everyone the way a mom tells a kid to go to their room, saying "In 5 minutes we're going to shut the lights off", with no explanation, other than that his manager said that is what is going to happen, running us off as if they are talking to children. Sure enough they shut the lights off on everyone. These are grown men on our team, not a team of children. You don't talk to other grown men like that. Such a rude and disrespectful way of handling business. You don't talk to your paying customers like that

Was there for a basketball event and it was an awful experience. No parking at all, no shuttle service, staff very rude. On several occasions, I've found their schedule to be unpredictable, which can be frustrating, especially when planning a visit. This inconsistency can be a significant deterrent for regular visitors who rely on set schedules.

Another issue I've encountered is the changing policies about gym use. It's challenging to keep up with these changes, and it can be disheartening, especially when you're looking forward to a specific activity. For instance, there was a time when my son and I wanted to enjoy kicking a soccer ball around, only to find out we couldn't do so due to an unexpected policy change.

In conclusion, while Horizons Edge is an exceptional facility with a great team, there's a need for more consistent scheduling and clearer communication about policy changes. These improvements would undoubtedly enhance the experience for all visitors, making it a top-notch destination for sports enthusiasts in Harrisonburg.

This was a perfect rainy day activity. The staff was patient and kind, even at max capacity for click and climb on a Saturday afternoon. The ratio of staff to kids could've been higher, but they are actively hiring.

The click and climb was perfect for building confidence and stretching abilities for our outgoing almost 4yo and 15+ yo. Younger kids can climb, but an hour would be too much time.

A family membership for locals would be a good idea.

My daughter did a camp there. After her camp we decided to do some of the climbing walls. After standing at the desk for 10 mins, there was 1 person in front of me, where 5 people were working I was told we had to wait 25 mins bc they only did half hour climbing at the top of the hour of the bottom and it was 4:05. There was no one climbing so it would have made no difference. Instead of watching basketball the other staff helped we would have gotten Doon sooner.

This place is a Christian, family friendly atmosphere and was completely awesome. Lots of fun and games for the whole family. Full outdoor and indoor soccer field's, four full size indoor basketball/volleyball courts and a full size indoor climbing area. The food was pretty good and a bit pricey for me but very convenient and clean. I highly recommend you give them a visit.

Discovered some wonderful indoor Pickleball courts at Horizon’s Edge Sport’s Campus in Harrisonburg! 12 courts are ready for indoor Pickleball so we don’t have to worry about too many people showing up. Helpful laid back staff, an entry fee that won’t break the bank especially if you pay the monthly fee. The facility is top notch. Oh, and I discovered a great personal trainer there who is helping me get strong for knee surgery: Thanks, Jackson Lore.

Coach Lohr has been incredible with helping me build strength (and confidence!) to move and push myself without pain in the Women's Sports Performance class. I'm not an athlete, and I've had a lot of fear associated with exercising the last four years due to an old injury that tended to flare up fairly regularly, but Coach Lohr always has effective alternative movements ready whenever that injury or my other physical limitations make themselves known.
I finally feel like I can trust myself to do basic tasks around the house, work out, and go adventuring without fear of my back seizing.
It's been amazing to feel confident, safe, and strong in my own body again!
I honestly recommend working with Coach Lohr to anyone, especially if you're looking to build holistic strength for daily life!

Found on the H. Edge site contradictory start times for a soccer practice. Called to verify the time. Was told practice started at 7:00. Arrived at 7:00 and learned it had started at 6:00 and had just finished.....Later, info on the site said a soccer team practice would be on Tuesdays. Arrived at the Edge on Monday for a different team and learned that the former team was practicing on Monday, not Tuesday.

Horizons Edge blew up the Shenandoah valley’s sports opportunities. It’s the nicest sports complex around with 4 full indoor basketball courts, a full indoor soccer field, a climbing rock wall, and a ton of outdoor fields. Great place to watch solid athletics too!

We love the clip and climb here. My kids have been three times and every time has been so fun. The staff has always been kind, patient, and encouraging as the kids climb. Thank you for such a fun opportunity in our area. (Note: just make sure to call ahead and make reservations. The first time we went without a reservation during the open climb time and there was a birthday party scheduled at that time, so we couldn't climb and had to come back another day. But it's an easy process to call ahead and schedule and verify their open climb times.)
