Well, I'm still going strong!! Its been 179 weeks since my journey began. My goals were first weight loss and becoming more fit. Let me tell you I have achieved that and so much more!! I am challenged with every workout, there is no routines here. All the instructors are high energy, and let me tell you somedays I really need that excitement!! They always have some challenge going on to keep you motivated! Social events to relax and enjoy the new friends you have made. So, if you are struggling with your fitness and looking for a challenge ....Iron Maidens fitness is the place for you. Come join us you won't regret it !!!!

I have participated in several food challenges offered and then a 30 day Bootcamp. After the 30 day Bootcamp I decided to join iron maidens fitness. I love the workouts because they are all so different. I also love that you can be live with friends on zoom. This makes it easy to stay in touch with friends and get your work out in while traveling. They really include you in the workouts and give you feedback. I also love the mini challenges they do to keep you interested and able to meet others in the group. Thank you all for letting me be a part of your group.

Alison and IMF are the real deal. The exercise classes are well-designed for variety and maximum burn. And the coaches are positive and fun to work out with. I do all the classes by Zoom and it’s been great to have the camaraderie and accountability of real people.

UPDATE: I recently completed Alison's #PB3 challenge - this challenge provided support and encouragement while teaching us how to lead a vegan and hydrated life. I LOOOOVED it!!! Its been a game-changer for me. Alison and her crew never disappoint!
I have so loved working with Alison! She has a very "let's start where you are" approach, helping me to set realistic and measurable actions toward my fitness and nutritional goals, as well as my overall health and wellbeing. She is encouraging without being glib and holds me accountable while also being compassionate. I cannot endorse her enough!

The PB3 Challenge was just what I needed. I was looking for new and different ways to incorporate more veggies and other plants into my diet, and the recipes Alison provided were mostly really good! Some were not exactly to my taste, but that's to be expected - there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to taste. One thing I really liked was that I didn't feel hungry in between meals (there is a snack in the meal plan as well, which helped). Trying to eat more veggies and fewer refined carbs in the past, I was always hungry and feeling like something was missing. Alison was able to teach that eating not only the vegetables, but also a proper mix of protein and fat, was what would help with the hunger factor. This is a lesson I can take going forward in developing my own meal plans for the future. Also, eating vegan for 30 days (I was about 90% faithful to the plan) helped me to feel more energetic and less bloated, and I wound up losing a few pounds (bonus)!
Alison is wonderfully supportive and tells people explicitly that there is no penalty if you can't go all in all the time. She has a great, positive energy in the workouts and the coaching calls, and really listens to what her clients tell her about their experiences so that she can find the best ways to support them. I had a great experience with this challenge and would definitely do another one in the future!

This 1st month of working out with Iron Maidens has been great. I am not a morning person but working out with all of you has given me the motivation to get up every morning and continue working to reach my goals (burn some fat and tone my muscles). The challenging exercises are amazing and I already started noticing the changes in my body. I feel so much energy every day. I definitely recommend you to join us!! You will have a great time and I assure you, you will feel better too.

I have been working with Alison for 5 weeks so far and it has been wonderful. She has helped me to tweak things so I can more easily build healthy long term habits. Recently I have been tweaking my choices in foods which has resulted in an increase in energy and a decrease in hunger (especially at the end of my day when I was doing my unhealthy snacking). With her guidance I am more active, eating better, and feeling great. I look forward to more tweaks to come!

I started with the Iron Maidens Fitness group in June of 2020. It was just what I needed being “newish” to town, having a busy work schedule… and becoming VERY sedentary during the Pandemic. My favorite thing about IMF is the offering of various ways to partake in a workout: socially distanced “live” workouts, live virtual classes, and there is always a newly recorded class available to do on your own if you miss the live classes.
What is different from other gyms is that Iron Maiden Fitness offers the whole package, besides the workouts, there are also meal plans available (with great recipes), one-on-one coaching and lots of fun challenges to keep it fresh. I can easily get bored with just working out and Allison is always coming up with new ways to focus on a healthy lifestyle while still having fun. So glad that I found this group!

I have never felt comfortable exercising with a group, until I found Iron Maiden’s. The coaches are amazing and are empathetic to your physical limitations but at the same time encourage you to challenge yourself. I have been a member for almost 2 years and it was the best decision I have ever made. I feel stronger and more confident, and the clients are wonderful ladies who are kind and nonjudgmental. I have been a member of Iron Maiden’s Fitness for about a year now. This program is the full package, with regular workouts which include modifications for wherever you are in your fitness level, meal plan challenges which help you reassess your nutrition, and a whole lot of support from the staff. Alison is a charismatic, and knowledgeable leader, making workouts both fun and worthwhile. She is very receptive to your personal needs and situation, always trying to help you meet your goals. The environment is supportive, with women at all stages of fitness working side by side, in a very positive setting. I love this group!

I started with the 28 day challenge during the pandemic to stay healthy in mind and body. I live in Pa but felt like I was right there with them. I have way more energy and lost several inches. Alison and the team are great and very supportive, always checking in with my progress. After the 28 days I decided to stay on board and continue my virtual workouts with Iron Maidens. I would definitely recommend!

I absolutely love being apart of the Iron Maidens Fitness Community! I started my workout journey with them in January 2020 and have been amazed at how flexible, supportive, and relevant the coaches, the workouts, and the sister clients are and continue to be throughout the pandemic.

Well, y'all, it's about to be week 3 in quarantine and I have to say that the leaders here won't stop for nothing! Ladies on a mission to keep us fit, connected and alive during quarantine! I attended the FREE 14 Day Trial to Iron Maiden Fitness and its been nothing but fun. They are a willing group of women accepting all walks of life and wanting the best for you by assessing goals. Even cool tips to stay healthy and create healthy decisions! They also do not leave you behind <3. If you have any specific needs they have a modification for you, but they wont stop helping you to meet your goal.

This is an awesome fitness group! Alison takes the time to listen to your fitness goals and works with you to achieve them. There is no judgement in the group, everyone encourages each other! The 28 day challenge is a great way to get back into a workout routine especially with the meal planning and grocery lists, with the correct foods to fuel your body. I also LOVE that every workout is different, no getting bored! Each workout is a new challenge!

As a busy mom to 4 kiddos all under the age of 11, I struggle to find time and energy to workout. In the past I would be really great working out for about 2 weeks until someone got sick, needed help with a project, etc. I was tired of making excuses and not fitting into my favorite jeans. So I did something about it, I joined Iron Maiden’s Fitness and my only regret is not starting sooner!! Alison and Mary Elizabeth are amazing instructors; they have inspired, motivated and encouraged me to do my personal best. As a fitness new comer simply getting myself to a group class where I showed my out of shape body in front of others was a daunting enough task but Alison and Mary Elizabeth made me feel welcome and comfortable from day 1. They have a sincere interest in helping their students meet their goals. They have helped me modify exercises when needed, sent encouraging emails and transfused me with the confidence and skills I need to meet my fitness goals. Alison and Mary Elizabeth make the most demanding classes fly by as if they were a minute long, while simultaneously inspiring you to challenge yourself and push through barriers, plus they pump really great jams!!

I started with Alison and Iron Maidens in April 2018. I have always struggled with my weight and have never been much of an active person. I have found a perfect fit! Unconditional acceptance, encouragement and support in all areas of my life. With Alison I feel I can do it and I do! Her challenges move me out of my comfort zone and allow me to be safely vulnerable. I know, well I still have room in ways to go, that my body is stronger and more fit!

I tried Alison’s 21 day jumpstart. I really needed a program to follow and someone to keep me accountable. It wasn’t easy, but It worked! (Over 5 inches!) I now have a membership, and Allison is still keeping me accountable with measurements and weigh-ins. Im fitting into my clothes much better, and I’m amazed at how much stronger I am.

I recently lost a significant amount of weight through the keto diet, but I have never really worked out, which left me feeling a little soft and flabby, so I started looking for a class to help with that, the gym just wasn't for me, and I found Iron Maidens through an ad on FB. Allison called me and we spoke for a good little bit about my background and goals, she told me about the 21 day jumpstart and I decided to try it. It was AMAZING! I've never done anything like this before, and I was nervous but I knew I was up for the challenge. During the 21 days I followed a meal plan and worked out 3 times a week, and with different trainers, all of them were energetic and upbeat. Allison gives great advice, is very motivational and has delivered on every one of her promises from that initial phone call. Once I finished the program I signed up to be a member and don't regret a thing. The classes are hard, but they are effective if you put in the effort. This is definitely the place for me!

I joined Iron Maidens Fitness during a Jump Start Challenge because I was in a bit of a fitness slump. Though fitness and good nutrition have always been priorities in my life, I've struggled with both since moving to Norfolk from out of state two years ago. It hasn't helped that I'm really only motivated when I'm working out in a community of like-minded women, and I just hadn't been successful in finding what I needed. I happened to see Alison's Facebook ad one day, and after a phone conversation and my first couple of workouts, I knew she was just what I needed! Alison's deeply caring and personalized approach to her clients has been just what I've needed to help me get back on track. Because she takes the time to get to know each client, she knows, for example, that I have a deteriorating hip joint that requires me to modify many of the movements in class. Without fail, she always takes the time to make sure that I am doing what I need to do to take care of my hip. And I know she does exactly the same with her other clients. I also love the healthy eating component of her program, particularly the new recipes that she offers on a regular basis. I'm seeing a big difference already in my body, and I LOVE it!

The camaraderie is fun and the challenge reminds me that I'm capable of more than I realize. I've lost pounds and inches, but the confidence I've gained is a game changer. What's kept me going is, there's no judgement and you're reminded to stay within your ability, but the coaching and encouragement makes you want to give it all you've got!

Participating in the Iron Maidens 28 Day Challenge has been a great decision. I had not lost weight gained after breaking my leg and surgery 2 years ago. After 4 weeks of changing my kitchen and eating habits, as well as exercising just 2 days per week with the awesome women of Iron Maidens, I lost 7 pounds and many inches. My energy level and general attitude also improved. I find myself exercising on my own more often now. I have really appreciated the positive feedback and suggestions to reach my goals. I have continued to lose more pounds, as I continue to incorporate these lifestyle changes. Thanks Alison and Mary Elizabeth! I look forward to seeing everyone next week!

Iron Maiden’s Fitness is great! In January I joined a fantastic group of ladies in a Little Black Dress Challenge. I was unsure if I could do it at age 53. I have been very exhausted and completely out of shape. To my surprise, I jumped in fully and followed the recipes, exercised 3x a week and lost 8 lbs and 2 inches in my waist during the 28 day challenge. Loved it! I am feeling more confident, have more energy, wanting to do more things and am really making better choices in what I eat. Allison at Iron Maiden’s Fitness is a fantastic instructor, motivator, and is truly interested in helping you reach your goals. Even after the LBD Challenge I found myself wanting to continue and build muscle strength. New goal: to be able to play tennis with my husband or maybe he will teach me how to play golf.
