My son has been coached by JD for the last couple years. It started because his travel team had a partnership with him for winter training. But JD has grown to be my son’s favorite trainer across any gym he works in. We’re fortunate to have access to a lot of different kinds of workout facilities, and professional advice. But for specific training for baseball, JD is clearly the favorite. One of the things that impresses me most, and probably the reason my son chooses JD, is not just JD’s ability to push the kids to work hard. He creates an environment where the kids WANT to work hard and are pushing themselves while staying on the right side of safety – – probably the hardest, and yet the most valuable balance to teach budding athletes.

JD Performance has been a game-changer for my son. JD not only provides excellent instruction with form and technique but also motivates my son to be the best he can be by building his self-confidence. John Donnelly has had a huge impact on our son's development as an athlete. Over the last several months, I've watched him develop speed, strength and explosive force. His power at the plate and pitching velocity have both increased dramatically. An expert kinesiologist, John also guided his return to play after an ankle injury without compromising safety. His increased strength and endurance have helped guard against injuries on the field. I can't recommend John at JD Performance/Up Next Baseball enough.
