I’d like to recommend Master Sam as my favorite instructor. I’ve seen Sam develop from a top student to the lead instructor. Sam’s patience with the students and me along with a cheerful personality makes the classes very enjoyable.
I started at Life Champs May 2017, 2 weeks shy of my 56th birthday. I was overweight at ~185 lbs and out of shape. I'm now just below 160, doing about 70% splits, kicking chest and head high, and keeping up with the young guns in class. I recommend this school. Master Ben and staff are fantastic. Oh yes, I'm entering my first tournament in 30 years in March 2018. All thanks to Life Champs.

The teachers are wonderful but business ethics are a bit sketchy! No one answers the phone or emails. However please be careful before signing up because you have to give a 90-day notice before canceling during which you have to pay for the 3 months whether you attend or do not attend. They work with a company that will threaten to put you in collections if you don’t pay for 3 months. I wasn’t made aware of this verbally when I signed up so I am making everyone else aware. Another thing…always suspect a company with only 5-star reviews.

We are having a blast at Life Champ! Our five year old had been coming for a few months now and has learned so much. When we first started, we hoped it would help with her coordination, let her get some energy out, and build her confidence over time, but it has helped with much more than that. We love it here! My son has been attending for over a year and has been really benefitting from the community, the activities, the discipline and the fun! The schedule is very robust, so there are a handful of options for days to attend at your child’s level. The instructors are all great.

My kids have had a blast in the Summer Camp program. I think we may enroll them in the evening Taekwondo program this fall. The Summer Camp was very structured and had plenty of activities to entertain the kids. Master Ben and his staff were exceptional! This was an amazing "Covid" safe experience that my kids will cherish for a long time. I Highly Recommend their Summer Camp program!!!

My sons loves attending Life Champ! They enjoy the challenge of working towards their goals and have even expressed interest in trying the Leadership track next year when they enter 2nd Grade. I have seen a marked difference in the confidence level of both boys. They have been attending Life Champ since 2019. Life Champ has been a lifesaver during the pandemic. In Sept. of 2020 we officially became a homeschool family with two full-time working parents. Their program helped us to juggle it all, and we are grateful to Master Ben and Mister Kevin for putting in all the effort. They have managed to remain open and keep a safe and healthy environment where children can engage with each other and stay physically active. I highly recommend Life Champ Martial Arts in Reston.

After many years of struggling with sobriety, I thought my son was on a path to a life of pain, suffering, and incarceration. When my husband and I stumbled upon the optimistic sound of children laughing, learning, and striving for success, we decided to enroll our son in hopes that he may turn his life around. Over the past 2 years, we have noticed he has not only gained integrity, but he has gained respect and unremitting determination. They certainly instilled the values that we, as parents, wish we could have provided. The staff scrupulously helps each student individually achieve their own personal goals, as well as learn to conduct oneself equitably in society. Upon writing this, I find myself in tears, unable to thank Life Champ enough for what they’ve done for our family. While wiping away these tears, I’d like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I can't even begin to write all the positive things about this place. Its a looooong list. The staffs are extremely professional kind and flexible. They continuously follow strict CDC guidelines. They really help with kids emotional maturity. I don't know how they do it.its a great place for kids. Super organized and hands on. Mr Tyler is amazing , he is always on time and helps with the kids in the morning . From temperature check, to hand sanitizing and making sure they have their computer ready for school.Mr Rufus , Ms Janice and Ms Hanna are extremely knowledgeable in working with kids , very patient and loving . Mr Kevin is an amazing Taekwando instructor, highly professional and skilled. And yes Master Ben , thank you for all you do and for having an amazing team. I am so glad found this place for virtual zoom school class and in person taekwando. Its being a huge blessing .
