Solid gym for being in a high density area. My main comment would be the showers often don’t have sufficient hot water, which for almost $300/month should be fixed.

Your data is not private at lifetime. Every single employee (from the part-time janitors to managers) has access to their database where every member’s private information is kept in plaintext. All members - members who don’t even need your info have access to it like your name/email/phone number/home address. This how a lot of celebrity’s phone numbers/addresses get leaked because the employees have access to EVERY single member in the country, across all Lifetime locations. A Clarendon employee was showing this off to me - they looked up my name in their database and there it was, and then they looked up a bunch of celebrities and I saw their phone numbers and home addresses. If you get an argument with an employee, be careful because they can get your sensitive data and use it against you.

This review isn’t about the facility’s equipment or amenities, just my first impression. I stopped by on a day that didn’t seem particularly busy, but was told no one was available to give me a tour. They asked for my contact information to schedule a time later, but when I saw that I’d need to download their app just to make an appointment, I decided to pass.

I joined Life Time Clarendon just two weeks ago, and I’ve never felt this happy and supported at any other gym. From the moment you walk in, the experience is on another level.
The Kids Club has been a huge help for our family , the programs are engaging, and my daughter absolutely loves it. It gives me the peace of mind to enjoy my own workouts while knowing she’s in great hands.
The front desk staff and the manager are wonderful. The manager, in particular, stands out with her calm, professional, and incredibly sweet demeanor. She creates such a welcoming and peaceful energy in the space.
Another person at the front desk who I think is exceptional is Afshin. His customer service is outstanding, and he’s incredibly welcoming. The gym has a completely different, more positive energy when he’s working.
I’ve tried a few classes already, and Celine’s classes are an easy 10 out of 10. She brings so much energy and motivation , I always leave feeling stronger and more inspired. I’m pretty obsessed with her!
Kyle is kind, easy to work with, and truly knows his stuff. I can’t recommend his Pilates classes enough — you won’t regret it.
Since joining, I’ve already recommended Life Time Clarendon to several friends — and they’ve signed up and feel the same way. This place is truly special.

We held a private event at Life Time Clarendon and it was perfect. Milan and his team were top-notch, always responsive, supportive the night of the event, and willing to work with us to make our vision a reality. Highly recommend!

Management is toxic. I don’t even know Yung but look up that review, I truly believe that happened because it happened to many people that I’ve spoken with, even in the response on Google reviews, Lifetime fails to take responsibility for their toxicity and pretend to be the victim. In my situation Heather was extremely unprofessional from the moment we met on the day I signed up. She abuses her power and racial micro-agression is apparent as she’s only polite to certain types of human, but disrespectful to POC. No Lifetime, you are not the victim. I used to like Lifetime before actually trying this location and now I will never join again. I hope Arlington County gets rid of Lifetime, the local citizens don’t want them here! They are gaslighting us to what a good gym looks like. Trust me, there are better and cheaper gyms. Lifetime is the biggest scam of the decade 😂🤣 laughable really.

I’ve been a member for a year and my experience has been nothing but positive. The gym has great amenities and a nice spa area. I was surprised to read reviews about rude staff because everyone I’ve met has been friendly and helpful.
I take classes with Celine, Juan, and Kennedy — they’re amazing instructors and I truly
love coming back! The membership is a bit pricey if you’re solo, but with kids it’s been worth it since we no longer need to hire a babysitter on weekends.
My only complaints are the lack of a pool and the parking taking extra time, but overall I’m a very happy customer and highly recommend this gym

The new management is an absolute failure. The steam room is down for a week and it was down last month for several days. We are not paying $300+ a month to deal with this low quality service. An absolute disaster!!!

I’ve been going to this lifetime since it opened 2 years ago. Besides the perks of a newer gym, and the convenience of the location, there are a few people that make this lifetime exceptional.
Tae at the front desk goes above and beyond with his customer service.
He is so helpful.
Kyle is my favorite Pilates instructor.
He has the best energy and music.
His classes are challenging, and he combines classic reformer techniques with a little more unconventional moves. I’ve seen the results of my body and core becoming stronger and leaner.
Austin is the best personal trainer I’ve worked with by far. He’s super knowledgeable, positive, and knows exactly how to meet any specific goals you have. Within 6-8 weeks of starting, my results were already visible and trackable, with more muscle and less fat. I kept up the routine he taught me to stay strong and toned. Highly recommend!

Best gym ever! You truly feel at home and can spend hours on end especially if you really utilize the amenities.. I like that there’s no co-ed in the spa area i.e cold plunge, steam room, hot tub.. I’m a member for life :) I don’t have kids but kids are free for 2 hours.. great for parents needing a break

Absolutely great gym and staff. Only complaint I have is it's 300 dollars a month for a gym that doesn't have a pool/basketball court or pickleball. I wanted to stay here but can't justify the price when all I'm doing is lifting or using the treadmill

Feedback Regarding Jacuzzi and Cold Plunge Area – Arlington Location
My wife, daughter, and I recently joined the Arlington location, and overall, we’ve been extremely happy with the facility. It’s very clean, well-equipped, and even during peak hours, I rarely have to wait for any specific machine — which is a big plus. So far, I would rate the facility 5 out of 5 stars.
However, I do have a serious concern about the jacuzzi and cold plunge area. Despite raising this issue previously with both the front desk and housekeeping, I have yet to see any meaningful changes.
Several members are entering the jacuzzi and cold plunge wearing underwear or briefs instead of proper swim trunks, which is both unsanitary and against the rules clearly posted at the entrance. It’s uncomfortable and frankly, unacceptable for a facility of this quality and price point.
There needs to be a stricter policy enforced, along with clearer signage — ideally in bold red — stating: “You must shower and wear proper swim trunks before entering.”
We are paying nearly $500/month for our family membership, and I believe part of that cost should go toward maintaining not only clean equipment but also a sanitary spa experience. At this time, I’m rating the jacuzzi and cold plunge area 1 star due to these ongoing hygiene issues.
I hope management will take this seriously and implement corrective action promptly.
Thank you for your attention.
This part is specifically directed to the Kids Club front desk team. I have intentionally waited before speaking up, hoping that perhaps certain behaviors were due to a rough day or an off week and that things might improve. Unfortunately, that has not been the case.
I have repeatedly encountered two particular staff members at the Kids Club who are consistently unfriendly — not only toward me, but more concerningly, toward the children. This is unacceptable in an environment meant to be welcoming, safe, and engaging for kids. At the very least, a warm greeting or a simple “hello” should be standard.
This isn’t just about politeness — it’s about the attitude and energy projected in a space designed for children. When that energy is cold or dismissive, it affects their experience and reflects poorly on the facility as a whole.
I’ve brought this up at the main front desk before, but unfortunately, the response has always been the same: “Thank you for your feedback,” with no visible follow-up or accountability. It gives the impression that either there is no effective management in place, or that concerns like this are simply not taken seriously.
I hope this time it is.

Beautiful facility and very nice staff. Visited this location as a LifeTime member who lives in their headquarters state of Minnesota. I’ve been a member longer than most of the members here at my Clarendon visit today have been alive and can confirm it’s a very well run company. In over 30 years, thousands of visits, and dozens of locations visited around the country I can confirm zero problems with rude staff as some with much more limited experience claim. The price is higher than most which is true and you get what you pay for in terms of facilities, staff, and programming.

There are things I like a lot about this gym but the fitness classes in the main weight area are just incredibly frustrating to deal with. There are classes that use every single squat rack and when I complained to a manager I was told to just check the class schedule and come when there aren’t classes. What a terrible response to a customer! I hope management sees this review and can make changes to the workout classes. Most of the time people aren’t even using the barbell when they take up all the squat racks!

Life Time(LT) staff disrespected & discriminated against my daughter in various ways and created an uncomfortable and unwelcome environment for her at this gym. Most decent gyms would take responsibility and be accountable for wrongdoing towards members by inappropriate staff but not LT.
Last summer my daughter, who has been going to LT for 2 years since 2022, and always had positive experiences beforehand, visited LT Clarendon. On one of her visits in the evening, she was in the locker room when a staff member approached her and rudely and disrespectfully gestured to her (no words said) to give her the towel she was using with a scowl. She was confused why this employee acted this way to her. This same person continued to be disrespectful to her, and she communicated it to LT, who brushed off her concerns, lying on their original response to her review that they were “glad that the issues were taken care of,” when they weren’t at the time. It wasn’t until she wrote a review and multiple attempts at corporate that the manager Heather Wingfeld finally reached out. Her concerns were not made a priority and she had to continue being made uncomfortable at this gym for 2-3 months.
When Heather called, instead of approaching her nicely or even apologizing once, Heather was immediately defensive and hostile to my daughter on the call, the first words she asked her wasn’t even how are you or hello but rather very coldly she asked “what are your expectations?” She sounded angry and defensive, as though my daughter had done something wrong when all she did was voice her concerns about a staff member who was being rude and unprofessional. Multiple times Heather refused to somehow acknowledge or admit that it was her employee who was creating a tense and uncomfortable environment for my daughter, but rather implied during the call that she would rather have my daughter leave the gym/find another gym rather than fix the problems with her staff. This was the hint that they were trying to kick my daughter out of the gym because they didn’t want to “deal” with her problem and resolve the situation fairly. Heather even dismissed her claims that she was truly traumatized and said “that’s a BIG word to use.” They dismiss trauma and don't promote a safe environment here for her, yet they had the boldness to accuse her of creating an “unsafe”environment which is entirely defamatory and full of lies. She never talked to anyone here and was here to just work out.
This is a huge problem with LT. It’s upsetting that management is supposed to be empathetic and supportive but they were cold and discriminatory instead. My daughter voiced how she was being treated poorly by this staff member and wanted change, but was not happening. LT retaliated because it was easier to terminate her membership, blame her and lie about what happened, have the manager leave the facility (Heather is no longer manager here, wonder why), then to train and replace an employee because perhaps they care about their bottom line more than they care about being fair, just, and non discriminatory. They gave this rude employee more than 3 chances to rectify her behavior, never notified my daughter that she was ever doing anything wrong, then on the day that she left late, the cleaning lady, with her anger issues, followed her, cussed out and verbally HARASSSED my daughter in the front lobby of the gym! She filed a police report because she was shaken by the incident. A day later, LT terminated and banned her from the gym and when she tried to understand why, they implied she was the issue, for wanting resolution regarding the employee. I fail to see the issue here. If you have a bad employee who’s harassing someone are you supposed to maintain this behavior? A good gym would hold their employees accountable and not twist things and make the member the bad guy for constructive feedback and wanting/asking to be treated better.
It’s wrong to ban people for being whistleblowers facing unjust treatment by your own staff and failing to take any accountability for it.

Almost $300/month and no pool? Absolutely insane pricing paired with entitled staff and customers. But what would you expect for people paying for the “luxury” of having an expensive gym. What you’re actually paying for is exclusively hidden by a veil of pretentiousness and entitlement. You pay for this gym to be seen and gloat to your friends and coworkers that you go to lifetime. Look at the reviews for any lifetime in the DMV. Most of them barely have a 4.0 average review. There are planet fitness locations that have a better atmosphere. You can accomplish what you need to do at any other gym for a fraction of the price. But if you have disposable income and want to be part of a gym that moonlights as a low level cult, by all means this place is for you. This gym isn’t worth the sweat off my forehead. And to save you some time, whatever manager is going to respond to this, save your words and don’t. The people can sort through the reviews and see for themselves what you all really are.

Was here the other day. This place is a smaller than normal location with no pool. But it is a given since it spans 4 floors.
This place is for sure a much higher class than normal lifetime. The sauna to jacuzzi to the cold plunge was all better highend feel .
For sure to stop by if you in town.
We ended up going to Reston Life time next day since it the normal set up.

Life Time was supposed to be a safe place to work out. Like many of you, I go to the gym to exercise, for mental health and for recovery. But I was never given a safe space here mainly bc: 1) I was repeatedly harassed by a rude female employee who I never spoke with 2) Biased actions by the Manager favoring this employee which left me further traumatized and 3) I was discriminated against by a male employee who made it difficult for me to leave on time. LT resolved this by terminating my membership unfairly.
As an Asian gym goer I was discriminated against and robbed of a fair and equitable process when I tried to seek for support from management related to a rude employee. It started when an employee in the women’s locker room glared at me and motioned with her hand for my towel without saying a word. On 2nd visit, she expressed frustration at me while I was washing my hands. For 3 months this employee targeted me even though I never spoke to her. This included physically invading my personal space while washing my hands. I never bothered or spoke to her but she made a very snarky and mean comment to me out of nowhere for not closing my locker door one time which made me even more uncomfortable. I had brought up concerns of the employee to LT in July since her behavior was making me uncomfortable, but LT did not respond initially. So I wrote a review since no one responded, until 2 MONTHS later in September when manager reached out. On this call the Manager was shockingly cold, dismissive, and biased, showing no empathy for my concerns or my anxiety about the actions of her employee.
Fast forward to September I was taking a shower one night, then I heard an announcement they were closed so I rushed out of the shower. The employee then followed me out the locker room, yelled at me and cussed me out. She said I made a mess but I was only using shaving cream which I rinsed off after I was done. It is so infuriating and unfair that LT twisted what happened to put the blame on someone rather than their employee who just verbally assaulted me over a clean shower. LT never gave me an avenue of communication here when I explained what happened, and used this as part of the discriminatory actions to terminate my membership. I wrote about my experience and Life Time cited this as a reason for cancelling my membership, along with leaving late (a few min) even though I did my best to leave on time and they acknowledged this. Being a bit late seemed like a pretense used to discriminate me and unfairly cancel my membership. They lied saying they talked with me multiple times about expectations. They never told me anything except to be mindful of leaving on time and I did my best to oblige. I only talked with the manager, not “multiple individuals.”
EDIT: The claim that life time stated I created an unsafe environment for others is a bold and outrageous lie. LT continues to discriminate me by being defamatory now. I have always conducted myself responsibly at the gym and I’ve been a member with LT since 2022 with ZERO issues with staff at other locations. I came here hoping for a safe space to work out, but for 3 months was subtlety bullied by an employee leaving me mentally traumatized. LT continued lying and said they resolved it (never happened) even while I wrote in my original review (which they removed) that I was still being bothered (have evidence). I felt genuinely threatened by this employee who followed me, yelled at me, and cussed me out, all bc I took a shower and used shaving cream which I rinsed off.
They terminated my membership right after all this happened. They claim due to consistently changing reasons as well, saying first it was cause I was leaving late, then later it’s cause I wrote a negative review, now it’s “creating an unsafe environment.”
They are now looking for any reason to blame me instead of taking accountability for what they put me through. You all have no shame.

Rude staff experiences exist here, contrary to what some of the reviews say. There was a very rude and entitled cleaning lady here who had serious anger issues and management blamed the member rather than her rude behaviors. The situation was handled poorly and the member was blamed even though it wasn’t her fault. Their responses to their reviews is also fake and untruthful, stating lies like the member who was kicked out was “well aware” of the issues when this was a blatant lie, as no clarity or expectations were ever communicated to said member. Unfair practices were engaged in unfortunately at this gym and they tried to silence members to cover it up. It’s also extremely harsh and unfair to ban people for leaving a few minutes late when they’re only trying their best. This gym doesn’t treat all people equally or fairly and that is the truth when you look behind the shiny exterior.

I love this gym for so many reasons! The community is fantastic, and it’s a great place for networking. One of the best features for parents is the kids’ area, where they can play indoors in semi-structured classes while I get a solid workout in. It’s perfect for those days when the weather isn’t ideal. The “Parents’ Night Out” program is a game-changer—our kids enjoy pizza and games from 5-8pm while my wife and I have a date night. On school days off, like teacher conferences, Lifetime has been our go-to.
The only area for improvement would be adding more amenities, like a pool, pickleball courts, and additional indoor sports spaces. The upstairs work space feels like a big miss. In the summer, we often have to drive to Reston for a nice outdoor pool, which is inconvenient. I’d gladly pay extra for those features.
Overall, this gym is a fantastic family-friendly space with great amenities, but the lack of certain facilities like a pool keeps it from being a full 5 stars for me. Highly recommend it if those aren’t deal-breakers for you!

The gym is pretty great overall. 4 stars bc the A/C gets weak sometimes. Mostly writing this review because I can't believe the comments about "rude staff" written in these other reviews. I've found the staff to be consistently great in 200+ visits to this gym. Always polite & competent. I see a pattern to these one-star reviews, members who are being high-maintenance (trying to bring more guests than allowed, or have weird questions about the facilities etc) get annoying and then when the staff correctly doesn't entertain this nonsense, the Karens complain here on Google. I'm thankful that we have a team that is serious about protecting the experience for the good members. The value is there if you are there to get a good workout. If you're there to goof around and annoy everyone then it's not going to feel like a good value.

I visited Lifetime Clarendon in November using a friend’s Guest Pass, with the intention of potentially joining this gym later in the month. I’ve heard good things about Lifetime facilities and was looking for a more upscale gym experience. Unfortunately, after my visit, I was very disappointed by the way my friend and I were both treated and how Lifetime handled the situation, which has led to my decision not to join.
After entering the locker room and getting ready for my workout, my friend and I headed to the squat rack area. We were in the middle of our warm-up sets when a female staff member approached my friend and informed her that she had to leave immediately, without offering any explanation. Despite repeatedly asking for clarification, we were left in the dark about the reason behind the request. There was no explanation given and the Lifetime employee seemed to take joy in the power dynamic they had over us. It was a very confusing and unsettling experience, as we felt unfairly singled out and treated with a lack of respect.
I had to watch my friend be pushed back into the locker room and then escorted to the front desk all the while not being given an explanation on why this was transpiring. My friend was in shock and traumatized because of how she was treated. I was appalled at the lack of human decency afforded to my friend through the entire ordeal.
We later discovered that the situation was related to a membership issue. For something so small, the whole experience was blown out of proportion given my friend was treated like she was a criminal even though she had not bothered anyone. We were forced to leave the club and it was all handled in a way that made both of us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. After leaving the club, my friend alerted me to the fact that she was followed into the locker room by the staff member as she gathered her belonging and changed. That is really dehumanizing.
While Lifetime markets itself as an upscale gym experience, this encounter left much to be desired in terms of customer service and communication. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Lifetime Clarendon. For those in the NoVA area, there are other gyms like Vida that prioritize treating members with kindness and respect and a sense of community that I did not get at all when I visited.

Meh. Joined for the yoga classes at this fancy four-floor gym—no pool. The $279 monthly fee likely covers location OR subsidizes childcare, but it’s still steep. The yoga classes are typical of a health club; they instruct you to go into Chaturanga but don’t explain the mechanics. An older woman was injured attempting a triangle pose, left the class abruptly, and wasn’t followed up on by the instructor—I confirmed this with her later. It’s also common for people to walk out during sessions, which is frowned upon in a traditional yoga practice. The clientele trends towards young professionals, and the culture feels a bit distant. numerous people taking selfies and lack of engagement if you’re over 35. The front desk can be hit or miss—sometimes friendly, sometimes not. The sauna and steam room are highlights, but overall, not worth the cost unless you have disposable income and or plan to use it a lot.

I absolutely LOVE this gym. The classes are a lot harder than other lifetimes in the northern VA area and feel more like a professional workout class. I’ve only been doing the classes for about 2 weeks and already notice a huge difference in my physique. The gym is not crowded, SUPER clean, and the employees are helpful and very kind. I usually have the spa area to myself and listen to meditation music…it’s like I’m on vacation. If there are other people in the spa area it’s super quiet and peaceful 😌
Cons - the cost is pretty steep, free parking in the garage provided but for only 3 hrs. Would be awesome if they upped it to at least 4 hrs. There’s no pool. But other than that, totally worth it and life changing!

Editing my review to 5 stars because they fixed the water pressure issue. Thanks for listening!
My original review: Everything is beyond exceptional except for the showers which have shower heads with sluggish water pressure like out of a cheap 1992 apartment, not what you’d expect from a shower in a very expensive top-end gym. Upgrade the shower heads/water pressure and I’ll gladly bump this review to a 5.

Lifetime is an extremely nice high-end luxury gym. I was really skeptical of paying $279 a month + tax, but as long as you go often enough it’s worth it. It feels a little too corporate and I really wish they had a rooftop lounge and a pool, but overall this place is solid. I also wish they had a more member-friendly guest policy, it’s far too restrictive and they aggressively try and get guests to sign-up. I wish you could pay by the day for guest instead of it being so restrictive.

This is a huge, brand new, gym that opened recently. It has LOTS of equipment. The hours are very long. It's quite clean. I love the steam sauna and the jacuzzi.
For me the biggest negative is the music they play is too loud. For example, do NOT take the flow yoga class if you care about your hearing. The music is really too loud. I am not the only person who feels this way. Another person who took the class said her ears were ringing after the class. To be fair I think other gyms also play music too loudly. But for a place that is supposed to be all about health, I really wish the music was quieter.
Otherwise I think it's a nice gym. It's expensive but the facilities are really quite nice.
Addendum 6/2024
I did personal training with Austin at Lifetime Fitness. I think Austin is a great personal trainer. He listened carefully to what I was looking for. This club is TOO LOUD. He figured out that there is an exercise room not in use during my hour with Austin. The exercise rooms are more quiet than the main floor of the club. This is really the only reason I stayed with this club. It is really too loud for me otherwise.
Austin worked with me and was careful to always keep in mind my goals. He suggested various exercises that were quite useful. And overall he has a great positive attitude. For me, that makes a big difference.
I definitely recommend personal training with Austin. It was well worth the time and money.

This facility is the closest to a Division I caliber gym you will find in the country. Quality space and a solid community of members. I would like to give a shout out to one of the trainers, Andrew G. In my experience (14-years of personal training) there is a huge difference between a good or a bad trainer. Lifetime has some solid trainers, but Andrew is one of the exceptional ones. In a few conversations, I picked up he is a very caring and a positive person that you want to spend time around. He demonstrates a lifelong commitment to learning and supporting his clients to reach their goals.

Step into Sharon Blake's salon and prepare to be transformed. With her expert touch, she'll weave curls that dance and colors that sing. But it's not just about the hair it's about the experience. Sharon's warmth and skill create a visit you'll never forget. Trust Sharon Blake for a haircut that lasts a lifetime 😄!

I can only leave a review based off the time I go (early morning). Parking is easy and free as it's dead in Clarendon before 8 a.m. As far as the gym and space, it's definitely a beautiful establishment. Clean, smells good, and friendly staff. I've been a Lifetime member for a few years, from a high end Lifetime on Long Island, NY to the Reston location.
Cons- This is the most expensive LT membership, with the least amenities (no pool or basketball courts). The nice thing is you can go to any location, so once the pool opens at Reston, I'd be frequenting more over there.
Most squat racks are used for a class at 6 a.m. which is crazy. That is prime rush and there are only a few squat racks open for members who aren't in the class.
I have no problem paying for a gym that's worth it to start my morning right, but I think the price point is way too high for this location.

Nice gym, personal training is too rigid, you can’t just call or go online to book, no flexibility bc you are locked with one trainer or pre booked weeks in advance. The convenience is not for members, it’s for trainers. I wanted to go week to week and try diff trainers out to see what vibed with me best but they won’t allow it. one size fits all programming isn’t how exercise works for people.

Can you guys PLEASE just turn off the music. There is constant loud music throughout the entire gym. Almost everyone wears headphones, and those who don’t do not want to listen to Hot 100’s on repeat constantly. This is especially annoying when you have multiple workout classes happening and loud music blasting different songs from different sources. This is insanity.
Please give people a chance to rest their minds with silence instead of constant loud music. This should be a basic standard in a luxury EXPENSIVE gym.

I’m incredibly dissapointed that they don’t have a swimming pool or their own parking. You have to either park in the Whole Foods lot or park on Fillmore and limit your time to 3 hours.
It’s great that lifetime gyms are clean and have good amenities and the price tag keeps most of the idiots out. But I just don’t understand what they were thinking to not include a swimming pool. Considering how much people pay, almost 300 dollars a month, not having a swimming pool is robbing your customers. Every other lifetime I’ve been to has a swimming pool.
And it doesn’t have a rooftop lounge, which is common for other lifetimes in urban corridors. Extremely disappointed. Horribly designed. I don’t know what they were thinking. If they weren’t walking distance I would not bother.

The best club to workout in the DMV! Also, Michelle in the LifeSpa is the most gentle, thorough, and careful esthetician ever! BE CAREFUL - She will get you hooked on facials, hydra-facials, back facials, any facials :)

Lifetime is a high end luxury gym, one of the only ones in the area. Lifetime is expanding a lot and it's clear why. They really try to account for every aspect of fitness and wellbeing between the spa/spa-like amenities, cafe food, workout floor, personal trainers, classes, pickleball, and pools (these last 2 aren't available at this location but you get access at other locations with a Clarendon membership). The sauna and cold plunge are my favorite part, as well as bathrooms fully stocked with towels and toiletries.
Additionally, another big value driver for me is the lack of crowding on the workout floor even during peak hours, which is not to be taken for granted in Arlington. They also validate for parking in several nearby parking decks.
The cost is very high for this gym, but you absolutely get what you pay for.

Great club with loads of equipment, classes and space.
Pros: they have Kids academy so we don't have to worry about our children, the instructors are amazing, they listen to our feedback and have been adding more classes that fit into the kids academy hours. Rich classes variety, dry and steam sauna are great. The place is always very clean and tidy, staff friendly.
Cons: Expensive, popular classes on weekends get fully booked (some of them as soon as registration opens, like barre on Sundays) I would suggest they add more as it is a very popular time for families to come, showers have very low pressure and still sometimes there is no hot water, the dry sauna burned me recently as it was unusually hot, Kids academy is not open on Fridays afternoon, which would be super convenient for us and finally their cafeteria does not have many low calorie shakes (all of them have protein added) or food variety, which makes it hard for those wanting to have something there whilst trying to lose weight!
But overall we love the place and would highly recommend it! We booked a viewing with Ihsan, he didn't miss a detail!

I really like this gym but most importantly the cycle classes. They are rarely full but it’s my main source of cardio for 25 years now with a 43 year member of various gyms when my husband was in the air force as well as afterwords in Scottsdale, most notable Mountainside Fitness. However come this January those of us over 65 will have limited hours so as not to “crowd” the younger people. Funny tho, a guy the other day was so impressed that I have grandchildren but am still in great shape. I really don’t think the younger folk care either way. So the upper eshelon think it’s the solution, it’s not. It’s elder ageism . I suppose I could report this to the council in DC. That being said, if they offered a variety of classes, like cycle, weights , Zumba , Yoga etc., from 9:30-3 then I would change my stars.

I want to like this place more, but the team lacks organization. I waited 40 minutes for a dish that should have taken 15 at most. (My meal partner got the same thing in 10.) "Lost the order." Otherwise, it's a pleasant, spacious room with tables placed far apart. Food is decent.

Definitely a premium destination! I was surprised at how much space this city location had as compared to the Atlanta Buckhead location. A lot of equipment, so if it does get crowded, you have choices even for squat racks.
I managed to get there while it was quiet around 10.30 or 11am, but it started picking up as I was finishing my workout.
There is a cold tub which is unique to this location and is very refreshing after the intense breathing and "ah, oo, that's cold". Steam room is very nice to get all the impurities out of your system.
You can chill out at the lifecafe, or there is wholefoods next door so finding a quality snack or meal is easy.
Nicest and friendliest staff out of all the VA locations! Go check it out!

I've been a Life Time member for a few year and started going to this gym a couple of days after it opened. The membership is pricey but I think it's worth it. They have a ton of equipment. Even in the mornings when it's crowded, there's enough equipment available for me to get through my workout. Another thing that sets this gym apart is the cold plunge which no Life Time I've been to so far has offered! It really does stack up against some of the nicest Life Times in the US like the Sky Manhattan location and the Coral Gables one down in Miami.

Nice amenities … a bit expensive but I think for a reason … Many people complain about the cost but that’s exactly what this place is about. They make the cost high so that only those who can afford it can join.. and then you end up meeting folks of a certain social class and income sort of thing … a way to be selective, which I totally understand
