I came to Caleb with back and shoulder pain. Each session of working my muscles I walked away with less pain. Caleb is an excellent, full-service strength training coach! He created customized workouts designed specifically for my body type and health goals. Caleb trained me on safe weightlifting form and he meticulously reviewed each of my work out videos I sent him. He gave me detailed feedback on my progress and instructed me on necessary corrections. I worked with Caleb as my strength coach for over a year, and I can’t recommend him enough. Caleb is incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and always honing his skills as a coach. He’s especially skilled at adapting the fundamentals of effective barbell training (think proper mechanics, progressive overload, and individually tailored programming) to suit all body types, age ranges, and experience levels.
One of the things I appreciated most was his ability to create a comfortable, no-pressure environment. If you're like me and not super chatty, Caleb’s easygoing nature and knack for small talk make sessions smooth and enjoyable without any awkwardness. I am a woman in her 70s and never thought I would l engage in free weight training until my son introduced me to Caleb. Because of his expert coaching and encouragement, I love it! My back and hips have gotten so much stronger and since starting in November, I can now deadlift 105 lbs. It is never too late to get stronger. I had the pleasure of working with Caleb for 7 months. When I first started I had no muscle tone, I had to squat by sitting down on a box then standing back up, and I was constantly injuring myself. In those 7 months Caleb coached me through correcting my form, building confidence, strength, and muscle tone. I watched my body transform from something I always tried to hide into something I was proud to show off. I am happy to say this is the first summer in several years that I have bought myself a bikini and I have the confidence to wear it. Caleb is patient and encouraging. The lifting environment was always positive and uplifting. Caleb always took the time to ask how my week had gone, always using this information to personalize my workout for that day. Meaning, if I had been sick for days prior, he would make adjustments accordingly. I highly recommend Caleb to anyone looking to improve their lifting. As a bigger woman, I was very intimidated to enter a gym. All that worry went out the window when I met Caleb. Caleb listened to my concerns about my health and fitness, and instead of being patronizing, altered our workouts to meet my needs and help me get stronger. As someone with PCOS, I have always had a negative perception of my body. Caleb listened to me and helped me get stronger than I ever imagined. Truly, I cannot thank him enough for how he helped me transform my body.
