MBA Majest is an amazing Taekwondo dojang for anyone, who for themselves or their children, want to have a positive environment to practice the art of Taekwondo, to learn discipline, and get a great workout. I first started going to MBA Majest Martial Arts Taekwondo School around the end of 2021 to watch my brother start his taekwondo journey. I decided a year later to join him. Because I was the oldest in my class I was very hesitant at times. Through my classmates continuous encouragement and high fives, lol, I slowly became more confident in myself and haven’t looked back since! Master Ha and Master Pearl are amazing instructors that will work with you at your own pace when necessary and even after classes.

My 11 year old son started at Majest in February 2020 as part of their Homeschool program, and then my husband joined in March, followed by my 14 year old son in June. Needless to say the whole family is hooked on TKD and the positive experience provided by the team at Majest! Even during the COVID shutdown they were able to take classes online via Zoom with the other Majest locations. It was amazing! They have gained so much more than just physical strength over these months (Bonus: everyone now makes their beds!). My son started with Majest after trying it out when Master Ha came to his school a few years ago. Majest is such a wonderful place to not only learn kicking and punching but also valuable life skills. Master Ha shares so much knowledge and is wonderful with engaging and motivating all students. Watching them for a couple years made me want to start as well and two years ago I decided to join - with the effect of wanting to learn more and more.
The whole Majest community is like a family. Everyone supports each other, no matter what your skills or belt level is. The office staff is always very friendly and welcoming as well.

Me and my brother attend this school and It's great. At first I wasn't sure of joining because I was nervous, but once I set foot on the mat it was really comfortable and easy to get into. The atmosphere is friendly and everyone there is like family to me. Master Ha is great with the way he teaches his students, so I am able to understand and follow his directions. I love Majest martial arts and Master Ha. My son started here when he was in kindergarten and now he is a rising 7th grader. When he made it to blue belt I decided to start doi g classes with him and I have my looked back since. Master Ha teaches respect and discipline, but on top of that he is true to taekwondo and teaches us the most current and up to date versions of all of the taekwondo forms. My son and I will be testing for our 3rd degree black belts soon and I know that we will test with integrity because that is how Master Ha has taught us. I tried a couple different schools prior to coming here and they were a mess. The classes at majest are always structured and leave us feeling like we had an amazing workout and that ot was worth every penny we spent. I don’t understand how someone could give Majest a 1star rating for not being given the cost of black belt testing. Without knowing the student and where they are in the process he can’t tell how long it will take for someone to reach the level to test for black belt. Each student is different. Some can make it in a little over one year, while others take 3 or more years to get there. There is a fee for the actual test, but the total cost depends on how long it takes to go from no belt to black belt.

We signed up my son in the Majest Martial Arts (formerly Tiger Martial Arts) tiny tiger program when he was just three years old. I can't begin to say enough about Master Ha and his natural ability to build confidence and enthusiasm in young kids. He knows just how hard to push them to keep them engaged and focused without letting them get discouraged. Three years later, my son and I are both taking classes at Majest and we both love it. My son has joined the demonstration team and has learned a new level of discipline and gained a new level of confidence. The lessons he learns in class carry over to his school and home life too, making him respectful and conscientious in all that he does. For me, Taekwondo is a great way to connect with my son while I improve my own fitness level. If I could give it more stars I would. Master Ha is the main reason my wife and I have enrolled our 6year old daughter at Majest Martial Arts Fredericksburg. We did our due diligence and checked out several other Taekwondo schools nearby. We felt the most comfortable with Master Ha from the first time we met him. Master Ha is simply wonderful with the kids he teaches. His ability to come down to the students level to help them learn something new seams so effortless, yet I am married to a teacher myself and know it’s not as easy as it looks.

Self defense is not all that is taught here… Discipline, Self confidence, self esteem, respect, and mind-eye-body focus are all taught which, quite frankly, are characteristics missing in many kids (and adults) these days. Even though my daughter only has a few months of training with Master Ha she has earned her yellow belt. She has been even more enthusiastic lately than when she started.

A few weeks ago my daughter and I actually arrived really early for class (imagine THAT!) and caught the last few minutes of Master Ha’s leadership class with teen black belts. It is truly inspirational to see such mentorship in this day and age and confirmed to me that my daughter is in good hands.

Majest has a large family atmosphere ranging in age from four years old and up. This family atmosphere includes several outstanding adult black belts who help Master Ha with teaching classes which allows him to focus on other school activities like the upcoming tournament in Manassas Virginia Nov 2.
