My daughter is in her 4th year dancing at Music in Motion and we can’t say enough great things about this studio. The atmosphere is so welcoming for all the dancers and families! The instructions are all amazing, they are so kind and respectful. The owner Lauren is one of the easiest people to work with. The dancers learn great technique but not only that they learn to be great, respectful, kind people who help each other and cheer each other on.
From dance classes to dance company I can’t recommend Music In motion enough!

3 of my kids have gone to MIM over the past 4 years we have lived in VB. I initially chose this studio because they were so welcoming to one of my daughters with special needs. Now only 1 of my kids dances. We stayed with them because they have such a great program but it still feels like a community. My dance experience growing up was quite the opposite. Skylar has been wonderful to both my girls through the years, she has a huge heart. I know my daughter will miss her as she advances. We started with a free trial class which was definitely worth it.

I would give it zero stars if I could the teacher was crazy. I don’t even remember her name, but I went to one class and she yelled at the top of her lungs for no reason very unprofessional environment. Definitely an overrated studio.

This was our first year in dance and we had the best experience! Everyone involved, from the owner, the administrator staff, teachers, and dancer old and new are so kind, caring and helpful. The studio is a great environment and close knit community. My daughter loved every class and teacher she had. She also made lots of amazing friends! The dance recital was fantastic, my entire family had so many wonderful things to say about it! Thank you, Lauren and all of the Music in Motion staff for a fantastic first year, we look forward to so many more years to come!!

YES! I would recommend Music In Motion to everyone! We would love to continue Penny's dance journey here but sadly we are moving back to Florida. I am so thankful for the season she had here and the memories that will last a lifetime. A lot of her firsts and I'm so glad we have the pictures to remind us as well as a few MIM items. Thank you for being a welcoming studio and always helpful for when we needed you. Ms. Skylar was the best first dance teacher and I am sure Penny will cherish those memories of her first season and how she fell in love with dance. She loves to do her ballet poses everywhere we go and I hope she keeps this spark.

We found Music in Motion because we live in the neighborhood and it has become like a second home to us! My daughter started with mommy and me classes at 18 months and just finished her second recital at 3 years old! Dancing with Music in Motion has given her an amazing amount of confidence!

Our daughter has danced for 13 years at Music in Motion. What began at age three as a way to help our shy girl gain confidence, turned into a home away from home, a safe place, a place to grow in dance, confidence, resilience, work ethic, leadership, and as a human being. My daughter has been dancing for 3 years at MIM and absolutely loves it. The teachers are enthusiastic, kind and encouraging. We've also organized 2 great birthday parties with the studio. Both times, kids were delighted to have fun accro and dance activities, while parents were relaxed and chatting in the adjacent room. Totally recommend.

Music in Motion has a cute stand alone studio and super friendly staff! Our timid newly two year old daughter quickly warmed up to her teachers (main teacher and occasional sub) and had a blast. The program for littles is fast moving to keep attention and repetitive enough to build that confidence! Ballet was thrown into developmental building and silly songs just added to the fun! As much as I hate giving only 4 stars, this review is honest. The staff is wonderful and the policies they have in place for Covid are great, BUT the execution of the policies is just not there. Only two parents wore masks, none of the teachers did and the sweet owner who popped in didn’t even wear a mask. The floor left feet solid black and the bathroom could use a deep clean as well. Experience in the class itself is a 5, but Music in Motion, from our experience, could use a stricter Covid policy that is enforced and a deep clean of the facility.
