I highly recommend NOW Yoga! Aly & the instructors are extremely welcoming and have built a community that supports individual needs. It has become my safe space to destress and engage in self-care. I appreciate that they provide a variety of props during class and take the time to provide individual modifications to ensure the practice is best suited for you.

I found this wonderful studio over a year ago.
Have enjoyed Hatha, Restorative, Yin and more! The owner is lovely and each and every teacher has so much wisdom and gifts to share! I dropped in for awhile then chose to have a membership. Everyone is welcome.
Whether new to yoga or have practiced for years! Give yourself a treat and self care.

I walked out of Vinyasa with Katie today and literally said out loud "I always feel like I'm on vacation when I'm here!" and I truly do. I've been coming to NOW for a few years now and it is like an oasis during the class time hour (or longer) - especially outside in the" yoga yard" for the many months they have it open - fountains trickling, beautiful surrounding plants, such supportive outside deck flooring, the truly most ROCKSTAR teachers, and then even a cup of hot tea afterwards. And inside- is so inviting, lovely low key fellow yogis, and classes that can really build strength and refresh to those that soothe and calm with teachers that have the best flow. I have a membership at the YMCA but I will ALWAYS also hold onto a pass to NOW for yoga. It is perfect.

I am from Charleston WV and I previously was a yoga teacher and now my daughter Jane teaches Saturday mornings at this studio. If we are in town I like to see where she practices. I can do the gentle yoga but I have several joint replacements due to Ehlers Danlows syndrome so I am limited. Yoga has always been a passion. Your studio is a lovely space to relax and enjoy the moments of Mindfulness.

I dropped in for a Saturday AM class. I was welcomed to a relaxing and rejuvenating class. The studio provided a peaceful environment with small class size with a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Charlottesville!

Now Yoga is a true gem. The community here is warm, welcoming, and heart-centered—whether you’re a regular or just dropping in from out of town, you’ll feel right at home. The owner, Aly, has created something really special with this space—thoughtful, inclusive, and deeply nourishing.
There’s a wide variety of classes, including gentle, therapeutic, and yin yoga—something for every body and every level. The outdoor yoga yard is absolutely magical—hands down the most peaceful and unique places I’ve practiced.
If you’re visiting Charlottesville and love yoga, don’t miss a chance to stop in. This studio is a sanctuary.

I'm not sure what I would do without Now Yoga. As a guy who is older and has physical limitations, I would normally be shy to go to a yoga studio, but Now Yoga is a nurturing environment and a judgment free zone. Aly Moore, the owner, is often there when other people are teaching, and she sets the tone of kindness and depth that all of the teachers she's brought in just radiate. Most of the classes have a real age diversity, so I might be in a class with people 40 years younger than me and it's completely fine. There is a range of classes offered, from ones that are very vigorous to ones that are very gentle, but all of the classes I've taken are meditative experiences that have me leaving at the end feeling more peaceful.

I am new to NOWYOGA and have been to six classes with five different instructors and really enjoyed each class! I have done a lot of yoga in years past but not much the past few years as I’ve relocated to Cville. My goal is to do 3-5 classes a week but as I am in my 60s, I needed to find the right fit. I wanted something challenging but also a place I felt comfortable and supported to steadily improve and after a week I knew I had found my new yoga home! The other participants were so friendly and the owner, Ali, was beyond welcoming! And Katy, Kelly, Mary Ann, Mary Lewis and Michael were all wonderful instructors! I couldn’t be more pleased.

I wish I could give them MORE!! I've attached a recent pic of a BEAUTIFUL retreat they did. I moved here from California recently, and I have tried a lot of yoga places, and I kept having to look because nothing had the right vibe. Personally, I need a place with a lonve for all things yoga. This place has all you need. Ally the owner makes it a point to know everyone that comes in, she's almost always at the desk to greet you with a smiling face when you come in for class, when I told her about some financial hardships she offered to extend a deal to me so that I could come. She said all she wanted was my presence there. These are honest to God Yogis. They have two beautiful studios inside as well as one outside. All of the yoga instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming. They offer retreats and special gatherings all the time. You walk into the yoga room and actually smell Palo Santo burning. People quietly wait for class to start because there's such a deep reverence there for the practice. I've gone to quite a few of Katie's classes, and she is a jack of all trades. Not only does she know multiple kinds of yoga and has a very unique way of designing flows, she also did a wonderful immersion for the winter full of introspection and great insight. She intertwines poetry and philosophy, and even some Qi Gong! If you want to go to a place where people really love yoga, go to Now yoga. You can feel the vibe as soon as you walk in. They even have mats that you can borrow along with blocks, blankets, eye pillows, and bolsters. I'm so glad I found them I think you should too!! What are you doing sitting there?! Get up and go. :)

Plenty of options for different kinds of yoga, with wonderful instructors. Aly, the studio’s owner, has created a real community, with people who support each other and gather for celebrations in the lovely space that she has created and for retreats abroad. I feel so fortunate to have this wonderful place in my life!

I am so glad I found this wonderful studio with very experienced instructors who want you to have your best practice. The classes aren’t too big and the members I have met seem very down to earth and friendly. There is a wide variety of classes with something for everyone. The owner, Aly, is a real gem.

I have moved around a lot and been a part of many yoga studios, and this one is by far the best! The owner and the teachers are absolutely wonderful, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The space itself offers both indoor and outdoor options. The garden near the outdoor deck is so beautiful! It even has a water feature and greenery right in the middle of town. Also, in comparison to others in the area, classes here are affordable especially with some specials that are run intermittently. I highly highly recommend classes here to anyone wanting a complete yoga experience for mind, body, and spirit.

I’m from out of town and used NOWyoga for a bachelorette private class. It was a highlight of our trip and I would recommend to anyone looking for some personalized for a special event. Communication throughout the planning process was great. The price was very fair and included mat/props as well as a sweet flower. Our teacher, Lauren, really understood the assignment in terms of playlist and what we wanted out of the class. It’s a beautiful space and felt so special for the weekend. Thank you so much NOWyoga!

I've been attending classes at Now for about 4 months and have nothing but positive experiences. There are classes for every level; the variety is wonderful. I have taken class with 6 different teachers, and each are professional and great at what they do, while making class inclusive for beginners and talking through each pose and sequence. The space is extremely clean and calm. The owner Aly is very kind and I feel welcome every time I arrive to class. I 100% recommend this studio!

I had a great experience at the studio while visiting from out of town. The space is beautiful and very unique - seamlessly flowing from indoors to outdoors. Because the studio is open to the outside, you'll want to dress for warm weather and be emotionally prepared for a bug or two. I always appreciate a studio that attracts students and teachers of all ages and demographics, and this one ticked that box for me too. The class I chose was a vinyasa flow that was perfectly challenging for me and also included lots of modifications for people who are stronger and want to practice arm balances.

Very unfortunate that this studio has taken a postion to openly discriminate againest people with medical disabilities. People use yoga for healing, inner peace, and overall wellness. I am unsure how someone that owns a yoga studio would willing harm the community with such abusive policies. Luckily, their are other yoga studies in our area and I suggest you support them with youe money instead of this one.

I took my first class there today and had a great experience. The teacher, Annie, is very good. From her cueing style to her music, her sequence to the reading that she shared, it was divine. The studio itself is a spacious blend of outdoor and indoor space. Your choice to be inside or outside. The outdoor space evokes a feeling of being in a garden - even though it’s conveniently located, in downtown Cville, with easy access to get in and out.
The creation of this studio was clearly done with much heart and soul. I’m looking forward to my next class there.

I have been attending Sabine's awesome morning classes on Zoom. She teaches with one student present, which is very helpful for understanding cues. Her classes are thorough and well-rounded. Often a class will have a light focus on exploring a movement that is important to multiple poses. So, for example, in the course of series of poses and flows, a class might explore side bends, or heart lifting, or twisting. Sabine's attention to detail has been a tremendous benefit to my practice.

It’s so wonderful to still be able to take Hope’s class when we’re all socially distanced. And the option to have access to the class if 9 am just doesn’t work is genius. So grateful.

Head over heels in love with NOWyoga. It's a beautiful studio with smooth hardwood floors (good for balance poses) and rooms that have the option to open up to the fresh air via sliding garage doors. One of the rooms has a zen-like garden that adds to the tranquil feeling. But the best part is the teachers. Aly and Sabine have recruited a wonderful group that have so much kindness, creativity, experience, confidence, and depth of knowledge. I often feel like I'm learning something new about yoga every time I attend classes there. Great variety too - Vinyasa, Slow Flow, Yin, Restorative, Hatha...

I joined NOWyoga shortly after moving to Cville. I started with their 3 weeks for $30 offer and have since signed up for their three month intro offer with plans to continue as a monthly member.
All of the instructors are amazing (I especially love Rachel and Lydia), and Sabine and Aly (the owners) have set up a relaxing and inviting space. There is a beautiful patio outside of one of the studios that you can practice on, but you can also stay inside if it's too hot or cold for you. Teachers teach from the space between, so you have options.
Bolsters, blocks, towels, blankets, straps, cups for water, and mats are available at no extra charge. There are also bins to put your belongings in as well as a changing room. The bathroom is stocked with hair ties, bug spray, spray deodorant, and other items you might need.
I was initially hesitant to join because NOWyoga costs slightly more than other studios in Cville, but it's well worth the price. The instructors are very personal and are willing to talk before and after class about specific postures or struggles, and I find that the classes I attend provide a challenge without feeling overwhelming.
It can be stressful to start a new workout routine or join a new studio, but the staff have really helped my transition into a new routine and to a new city. I feel like I have joined a community. I am always so excited to go to class, and I always feel so refreshed after. NOWyoga is a great studio for people of all ages and levels, and I can't recommend it enough!

I came into Charlottesville for a wedding and had spent numerous days driving and flying throughout the East Coast. My body was killing me and I was dreading the long haul back to Utah.
Fortunately for me, my partner and her friend told me about Sabine and her studio and so I decided to go and check it out.
Even while sporting a slight hangover from the wedding, Sabine's class and the studio's environment was exactly what my body, mind, and spirit were needing.
Her flows were perfection and although it has been a long time since I attended a yoga class, I felt as if I was in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
Whether you're looking for a long-term yoga studio or just dropping in, I highly recommend Sabine and her magnificent studio.

I was a new teacher and taught at a studio at home, but I desperately wanted to teach in Charlottesville while I still at UVA. No one I contacted paid me any mind, which didn't surprise me. I'm young and had only had my certification for a few months. A dear friend told me about MOSAIC and, the second I walked into the studio, I fell in love. There was no where else I wanted to practice or teach. I took a shot in the dark, sent an email, immediately got a reply, got lunch with one of the beautiful cofounders, and the rest is history. MOSAIC embodies everything I love about yoga; love, acceptance, community, consciousness, physical and mental wellbeing. The support I have found in this studio, as a practitioner and a teacher, has been overwhelming. Here, I've found mentors and made wonderful friends. MOSAIC, and all the people in it, have helped me deepen my spiritual and asana practice, and have made me a better teacher. If you're looking for a place to sweat, smile, laugh, get upside down, challenge yourself, and deepen and open your heart and mind, MOSAIC is where you should be. I cannot recommend this studio enough. Om Shanti Shanti.
