After years of trying different fitness routines, I was burned out and craving something more sustainable for my long game. Pilates at Orofino turned out to be exactly what I needed. The space is beautiful and clean, the instructors are warm and adaptable to all fitness levels, and the workouts are mostly off your feet, which I love. Scheduling is simple, and there are flexible class packages to choose from. After six months, I feel stronger, more stable, less prone to injury, and excited to keep it up.

I’ve been attending this Pilates studio since October 2024, and I couldn’t be more impressed with everything they offer! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and kindness that any initial nervousness quickly melted away. As a newcomer, I really appreciated how the instructors and staff made sure I felt comfortable and included, ensuring I could jump right into the classes.
What really stands out to me is the variety of class schedules. As a working mom, finding a time that works for my busy schedule has always been challenging, but this studio’s class times are incredibly accommodating. I always have an option that fits into my day.
The range of classes is fantastic – there's something for everyone, no matter your experience level. I love that every class is open to all levels, which is so reassuring for someone who’s new or still finding their rhythm. The instructors make sure to provide modifications and adjustments, so I always feel challenged, but never overwhelmed.
Physically, I’ve noticed such a transformation since joining. My body feels so much stronger, and I can feel the benefits in both my core and overall fitness. But beyond the physical results, the sense of community at this studio is incredible. It’s not just about working out—it’s about being part of a supportive, motivating group of people, and that truly makes all the difference.

I’ve been consistently practicing Pilates at Orofino for 15 months now, and it’s safe to say this studio isn’t just part of my routine...it’s a pillar in my life. It’s as essential to me as kissing my kids goodnight or my first cup of coffee in the morning. I look forward to my classes like I look forward to a girls’ night out. This is my mental hygiene. My reset button. My happy place.
Between their two gorgeous locations, there’s something for everyone. Franklin Street has 8 reformers, soft warm lighting, plus cardio and jump classes that make you feel like an athlete and a ballerina in one go. William Street is bright with natural light, a jaw-dropping custom wall mural (okay Alona, flex!!), and 4 original works of art by a local artist… who happens to be me. Six reformers, sunlight, and a truly uplifting vibe.
When I first started, I had significant diastasis recti (postpartum ab separation) from my last two pregnancies...something I had resigned myself to as my “new normal.” But consistent Pilates at Orofino has restored my core strength and closed the gap. There’s always room for improvement, but what I once thought was permanent has been transformed. I’m a believer.
And let me just say...Pilates fixes my Mondays. Every week, I jet out from my 9–5 for a lunchtime Mobilize class, and I return to work a much nicer human. I love all my instructors, and I’ve made friends at the studio. Making friends as a grown-up isn’t easy, but community and shared passion have a way of doing the heavy lifting for you.
Oh! and keep your ear to the ground for Orofino’s wellness retreats throughout the year. Stepping away from the daily grind for a day or two and immersing yourself in movement, breath, and rest will give you a brand-new engine.
If you’ve been thinking about starting Pilates, or if you’re looking for a studio that feels like home, Orofino is it. I came for the workout, but I’ve stayed for the transformation, the people, and the joy it brings me...week after week.

The best spot in town. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in for my first time and each time many months later. Both studios are gorgeous with top quality equipment and the perfect contemporary and positive vibe. The instructors are fantastic and the class variety is great, using the reformer in so many fun and challenging ways. I was on a mission to reset my priorities for overall health and wellness. What started as a trial run of classes through the intro package has become an integral part of my weekly routine. I love the variety in the classes, the environment, the challenge and most importantly the people! The instructors and community that have been created around Orofino Wellness are something special. Orofino has made me fall in love with Pilates!! The instructors (shoutout Lily, Alona, Becca and Faith to name a few ;)) and community at Orofino is incredible. I started in January and have stayed consistent; my strength, balance, flexibility and posture have improved immensely in just a few months. Classes are beginner friendly and the instructors will tailor the class to fit you and your skillset as you improve!

Absolutely love Orofino Wellness!
I started with just a drop-in class and was hooked right away. I'm currently halfway through their 30-day challenge and still look forward to every session. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and always bring great energy. Both the Franklin St and William St locations are spotless, beautifully decorated, and feel really welcoming.
What really sets this studio apart is the amazing community of women. It’s such a positive and motivating environment. I also appreciate the thoughtful emails they send out with tips and encouragement, as well as the fun (and free!) pop-up classes in the park and studio. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get stronger and feel inspired while doing it!

Melanie is an exceptional Pilates instructor whose passion and expertise shine in every class. Her sessions are thoughtfully designed, blending strength, flexibility, and mindfulness in a way that feels both challenging and achievable. Starting on a Pilates journey was hands down the best thing I could’ve done for my mind, my body, and my spirit. I’ve been practicing yoga for years and I love that and still practice, but Pilates humbled me in ways I wasn’t expecting. I love to do both, but I really feel that I build mental and physical strength from Pilates. The reformers are hard, but they’re fun! I’ve gained a new sense of confidence and an inner strength that I didn’t have before. Alona, Lily, Becca, Mary, Kaylea, Elisa, Melanie, and Christina are all amazing. I started practicing with Alona over a year ago and gained a quick trust and respect for her, so when the studio expanded and more instructors came on, I had an immediate respect and trust for all of them too. Can’t go wrong with this studio. I typically take evening classes. Mindful practices with Lily, build classes (great music taste) with Melanie, cardio/play and feeding your inner child with Alona. All the instructors are so wonderful meeting you at whatever fitness level you’re at.

I walked into this studio over a year ago knowing absolutely nothing about Pilates. Alona, Becca, Christina, Lily, Melanie, and all of her other wonderful staff have created the most inclusive and welcoming space for beginners like myself. Alona is always finding ways to improve things for her clients whether it’s upgrading equipment, adding more/different class times to accommodate schedules, or offering fun and challenging class packages throughout the year. After spending over a year at this studio I feel stronger, I feel more knowledgeable about the practice, and I feel like part of a community. My Pilates journey started in the most unexpected way! I met Alona in a networking group and hired her as a nutritionist for my teenage daughter for 6 months. I found that what she was teaching her, was kind, balanced and healthy. More importantly, I saw how my daughter's relationship with food changed. She is experimenting with recipes, cooking, adding veggies to her diet! I was thoroughly impressed, convinced and immediately she became my #1 nutritionist referral! When I saw she opened a Pilates studio, I knew that was MY opportunity to try her kind, balanced and healthy approach to exercise. I always plan it, intend it, but never find anything that I enjoy, and works. Until Orofino Wellness. Well, I love the space, the instructors and members, the exercise, the community and MOST importantly, I love that I feel... and look better too. Lower back pain is gone! Recovery from high physical activity days is faster. I have attended consistently 1x/week for about 6 months and have been shocked at my progress in muscle gain, weight loss, stamina and mobility. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often. Looking forward to addition of second studio, and everything else great Alona has coming soon!

I love everything about Orofino Wellness! The studio is beautiful, extremely clean, and well cared for. The instructors are all wonderful. I take most classes with Melanie. Melanie is so knowledgeable of muscles and how they work, she corrects you and can quickly adapt movements/positioning if you need.

I can’t say enough good things about Orofino Wellness. My Pilates journey started almost a year ago and I have found so much physical and emotional strength through the classes. Alona makes each class unique and takes time to individually correct form to ensure appropriate technique. She encourages you to push yourself with such positivity. The entire environment is very welcoming, friendly and overall a safe space for figuring out movements that work best for your body. I find myself looking forward to exercise classes each week, so much so, I even attend 5:45am classes to make it work with my schedule. I found Orofino through a person at my gym. I started with a drop in to a class and was so impressed with the location and Alona as the teacher I booked some personal sessions right afterwards. I was recovering from a surgery and knew that the pilates class would help get me back and better to pre-surgery. After my first packet of sessions I opted for the membership and have completely enjoyed my past sessions and look forward to my future sessions.

I did mat Pilates 2-3 times a week when I was in my teens. It was the happiest I’ve ever been with my relationship with exercise- until now, that is. Here I am nearly 20 years later and rediscovering my amazing and capable body through Orofino wellness. My time in the studio is sacrosanct. My Pilates instructors at OW care for me and meet me where I am, then push me forward. Smaller but important things to note- the studio is clean, the reformers/equipment are well cared for, the lighting is soft, the towels are COLD and the vibes are so good y’all. Don’t think you have time? You make time for what is important to you 👏

The biggest difference I notice having been doing classes for 10 months now is a stronger core and more flexibility in my 70+ year old body. The instructors are highly trained & attentive during class & always supportive. Additionally, it is a very nice space.

I have several Autoimmune conditions and I wanted to find exercise that could possibly help with pain levels. I have been taking private lessons with Becca for months now. Alona and Becca are very kind and welcoming. Becca has been incredibly supportive and is an excellent instructor. If you want to try Pilates, this is the place to go.

I feel this is the BEST place to get a great workout while building core strength to be able to improve and/or maintain healthy every day mobility. All the instructors are well educated, friendly and make everyone feel welcome. They also offer modifications whenever needed! There have been a few occasions when we have had a bunch of family members fill a class and we always have so much fun….nothing like sharing your fam life with your fit life 😊💪.

I cannot recommend Orofino Wellness enough! Truly a God send for me in this past season, I discovered this studio in the first trimester of my pregnancy. Not only was I able to stay active through pregnancy (despite a hip injury), but I also felt like I got stronger physically as I developed an awareness of my body that has served me well. The atmosphere at Orofino Wellness is empowering, encouraging, and truly serves anyone regardless of fitness level. There is a place for everyone. I started taking classes at Orofino Wellness back in December 2023, and my whole experience has been incredible! As someone who enjoys frequent running, I was looking for movement that would compliment my running goals and improve my strength at the same time. I feel more at-home and in-tune with my body than I ever have before! I cannot only see the difference, but can feel the difference in the way I move through my days, especially in my posture. The team fosters a challenging environment without competition, and allows for people to come and experience a workout that complements their ability, regardless of age or other factors. I can’t recommend reformer Pilates at Orofino Wellness enough!
