I switched to this location last year, but honestly I rarely go because the equipment is always broken and the staff are rude. Today was the last straw — while I was in the middle of my workout, an employee tracked me down on the floor to force me to take a photo for their system.

I’ve been paying for Planet Fitness since 2020 and have never had an issue anywhere else. I even offered my ID, but they refused to accept it and insisted on taking a picture right then and there. It was embarrassing, invasive, and completely unnecessary. They easily could’ve waited until I finished.

I ended up canceling my membership on the spot. This location seriously needs better management and customer service.

There are plenty of cardio and weight machines, but I went here at 1pm on a Monday and it was crazy busy. On top of that, there are NO fans over the cardio machines. How does that make sense? I’ve been to multiple PF locations across the country, and this is the only one that doesn’t have the giant fans over them. Very uncomfortable to work out that way.
I may be looking for a different location to go to.

I’ve been a member for almost two years at that location and it kept going downhill.
Cardio equipment not being repaired, I have never seen both urinals working at the same time and staff never really interested in welcoming you or saying goodbye unless you’re one of their buddies! I do want to recognize a young African American gentleman who works his butt off, but he’s the only one.
Problem is clearly a lack of proper management.

I do like vey much the PF gym concept and I decided to stick with it. So I switched the the Springfield location which is on another level!

Probably the worst Planet Fitness I’ve been to. The equipment is outdated and visibly worn, and the whole place could really use some maintenance and a refresh. The floors are often dirty, and it’s perpetually overcrowded.

If you go between 6–9 PM, expect to spend more time waiting for machines than actually using them. Even late at night around 10 PM, I still end up waiting for equipment.

To make things more frustrating, the front desk is sometimes staffed by people who struggle to communicate in English, which can make even simple requests difficult.

It feels like most people come here because they don’t have a better option—I know that’s the case for me. Honestly, there’s more than enough demand in the area to justify opening another Planet Fitness nearby.

Avoid this location if you can.

This is one of the cleanest Planet Fitness locations I've been to but it comes at a cost. The staff will clean a machine or rearrange weights while you are actively using the equipment. I will be running on a treadmill at a high rate of speed and staff will be whipping a towel right at my feet which is a huge safety concern and interrupts my workout.

Similarly while bench pressing it is not uncommon for staff to be standing directly over you wiping the equipment and rearranging weights- again causing a safety concern. At the weight I'm lifting, if staff were to bump the bar and cause me to lose control of it, I would risk crushing several chest bones.

At other times you they will invade your workout space vacuuming at your feet or stepping over your personal belongings when there is a clear, open path to take instead of invading personal space.

I appreciate the priority of keeping things clean but not at expense of customer safety and personal space. I've never had this issue at other Planet Fitness locations so it appears isolated to this location's culture.

Unfortunately, this location is exceptionally small which makes it seem crowded even at its slowest times and extremely congested at its busiest (evenings between 4pm-8pm).

They recently doubled their number of stair masters but half are usually out of order. For the most part they fix equipment within a week but I'll see the stair masters be out for a month at a time.

This Planet is located in the Seven Corners plaza and has a large free parking lot. It is wheelchair accessible and has plenty of disability parking spots.

o be disrespectful and spew racial innuendos I tried this facility in October 2023, it was a bit crowded for me so I discontinued my membership in January 2024. After coming in person twice to cancel my membership I continued to received charges. Today April 2025 I come in person again to inquire about an email I received this morning about my account. The woman at the front desk asked me to leave my name and email which I was obviously hesitant that would make it to the correct source to resolve this finally. I asked the agent to call the manager or communicate with manager she would call if she were to call out from work. About 10minutes of back and forth a young man comes to the desk, immediately takes a look at the screen and asked “what’s the problem” the woman starts speaking Spanish I asked that they speak in English to ensure she was properly explaining the issue. She reply “he doesn’t speak English” I asked well how will he fix my account if he does not speak English or understand what the issue is. So the young man pulls up a screen that says”cancel membership “ I asked if it was canceled , she said you are not the only person with this issue. Then she says it’s showing you’re “active” I said well I just saw the screen it clearly says not active for 300 days .

Then she continues on speaking Spanish and ask well why don’t you speak Spanish , and I replied with complete offense stating I don’t have to, then she begins having a conversation about my account with another guests that walks to the desk and say it’s not my fault I you only speak one language. Now first thing is it’s not relevant 2nd she doesn’t know how many languages I speak and lastly if I had said that to her I would’ve been labeled as many things. Not only do I pay for my residents to have a PF membership my company sponsors working moms membership. I will not engage any business with them further. Not only was it prejudiced unprofessional and completely inappropriate had I said the racial things about language that she said it would’ve been a disgrace. The staff definitely needs civility training, they neee to understand politics is not appropriate at work to a customer and it’s pure disgusting to play victim after being nasty. After getting a manager on the phone the woman continues to be condescending about writing down my name as she asked me . Like I explained to her I wanted to ensure this was escalated obviously I followed the correct protocol in the beginning and it was unsuccessful. She couldn’t find an account the information was incorrect and she thought to keep with racial innuendo

Service for Black card members are being inconvenient by staff, were told that they cannot manually enter a request for chair massage early morning before 7 when nobody is using. Have to go through the slow, time consuming touch screen machine. This is the only gym that I encounter this problem.

Moreover, the touchscreen doesn't work well and requires the staff to do it. Then they have to enter your phone number, which I feel bit uncomfortable with. And when you come back and request an extra 10 minutes, they give you that unhappy look.

I recently had a terrible experience at this Planet Fitness location. After using this gym all summer with no issues, they suddenly started insisting that I take a picture for verification, even though I provided a valid government-issued ID and passport as proof of my membership. The assistant manager had previously told me this wouldn’t be a problem, yet now they refused to let me enter without the photo.

I asked the manager if I could switch my home base gym to another location, but he told me I’d have to wait two months. Seriously? Instead of dealing with this nonsense, I asked to cancel my membership and immediately reinstated it at another PF location.

The staff at the new location couldn’t believe how poorly this was handled. They even gave me two free months of membership for the inconvenience, which shows they know how to treat their customers. Maybe this location could take a few notes on what good customer service actually looks like.

It's a great gym. But constantly overcrowded. I use the circuit room, and there's always people sitting at the machines, which interrupts the workout (note that the circuit room is not supposed for people to just hangout at the machines). Probably.one of the worst PFs I've been in. First issue is there is clearly no leadership in their staff. The members have no respect for the equipment or others. During busy times the staff should be actively walking through the floor, informing users to put their equipment away properly and telling members that they should only get one pair of dumbells at a time and should NOT leave the area, along with the fixed Wright barbells. Staff just sits at the counter on their phones. Crowded in the smith machine/dumbell area. Staff doesn't even put away plates or dumbells properly.

I have been in this gym for over 2 years and everything went fine until one tiny conflict skyrocket everything. Red point are 2 and I can explain later:
1. I was trying to get the contact of the manager in a really polite way, and the lady, called Yorleny decided to call the police rather than the manager(why I know her name, look at 2), and I need to wait until the police arrive to leave.
2. The reason I would like to talk to the manger is because the lady want to cancel my memebership directly/intentionally without a proper reason(photo attached). She fake my signature and cancelled it and left her name on the employee side!

What is happening at that night is I have 3 friend with me on a Saturday night(maybe only 30 mins left before the gym close). I know I can bring in one friend and the other 2 would not have membership. So the front lady told us in order for my other 2 friends to work out, we need to pay 5 dollars each. She claim they could walk around and take a look but cannot touch the machines. So my 2 friends come in to follow us around. For the entire time, my friends didn't ever even sit on any machines nor take of their jacket(it's winter and cctv can prove it). After 20 mins and we are planning to leave, the lady jump out and ask us to pay 10 dollars because they stay inside for more than 3 minutes(this was never brought up until we planning to leave). She also claim if they don't pay, she will cancel my membership. And because of this, I said I would like to talk to her manager. She refused and said they are closed and will call the police. From that point, she start make phone call in Spanish completely ignoring us for 15 minutes(I don't want to say this is racist but I think it is), I even get business card on the table trying to reach out to her boss, and funny thing is it jump back to the deskphone on the table. After the police arrived, we can finally leave and turns out my membership got cancelled.

I am glad they have cancelled my membership immediately, but I think Yorleny really should be investigated. How would your employee fake customer's signature. I have no time filing a lawsuit for 10$$$.

PS: Yorleny is not even brave enough to write down the cancelling reason.

Active duty military here, Was in here for 2hrs and on my last set of doing 515lbs for bent over rows and one of your employees came up to me and said sorry you can't be in here with a face mask on and you have to show your face. So I put all my weights up and left. I recently got a membership here and I couldn’t be happier! They have lots of cardio machines and weights and everything I need. It’s clean and it feels very open. The 30 minute workout area functions as it should and the staff have been friendly. It’s a really good value for the price as well.

The facility is nice, but they don't open when they say that they are going to open. This is probably due to a staff member oversleeping. This unfortunately happens all too often. The owner or manager needs to come up with another system for opening the facility so it is done on time.

It happened again this morning 11/13/23. Probably 30 people were waiting until at least 6:15 am, when they are supposed to open at 6 am. At least 10 people gave up and went home before we gave up at 6:15. A bunch of people who walked there had to wait outside the doors in 35 degree cold.

This facility needs to send at least 3 people to open on Monday mornings so at least 1 of them get there to open up.

Why should I talk to the Manager about my concerns? You are the Owner! My input should pale in comparison to you telling the Manager to get his act together.

This gym is the absolute worst. I’ve come every time of day you can imagine. 11am, 12, 1, 4/5. The weights section is always always packed. Cant get a bench or a bar, it’s ridiculous. I was there for 30 minutes waiting. Want to skip ahead to a different machine? Good luck. It’s all people sitting on their phones. All I could do in 30 minutes was do the elliptical. Finally found a bench, and allll the weights are being taken so I can’t do anything anway. Oh if you’re a girl don’t even bother coming here. Loads of creepy people. I’m a 23 year old female and I hate this gym for that reason. You can’t workout without eyes on you. I’ve been complaining about this place since I moved here in august and today was the final straw.

For the price it's excellent deal. I like to work out a little bit. But also I do like the the massage machines 2 kinds which makes you know that I enjoyable after workout to have a massage. It's electric massage, but it's excellent good machines. And I'm former professional swimmer from Europe.

I had an issue with something because some guy tried to take my machine when I was still using it and had my phone on the side. When I asked the employees for help they looked like they could care less about the situation. Employees are not helpful and didn’t listen to what I had to say. Unbelievable I wish I could give zero stars

Obviously, you can't beat the price. If you're a cardio guy there are plenty of treadmills and elliptical machines. Those are the pluses.
Downside: Usually crowded with kids who frequently monopolize machines, just sitting there socializing or playing with their phones. Water fountain actually has warm water coming out of it. I've told the desk staff twice and they could care less. Limited free weights and what there is is usually monopolized and hoarded by kids instead of using and returning to the rack. I've seen guys with two or three sets of dumbells on the floor and just sitting on a bench looking at their phone.
In sum, very frustrating place to try and get a planned workout in, but you get what you pay for.

I feel compelled to share an experience I had on March 25th, 2023, at Planet Fitness that has left me unsettled. I had an encounter with a gym member who was monopolizing a leg machine. Even though I respectfully asked to alternate sets with her during her rest periods, she flat out refused to share (using choice words). Disappointingly, the gym management was ineffective in resolving the situation, despite being involved.

The most alarming part of this visit was an aggressive and menacing confrontation instigated by her boyfriend. His intimidation was so intense that it made me fear for my safety. To my further dismay, the staff present during the incident did little to defuse the situation. It’s important to note that I am a 60-year-old, while these folks may have been in their 20-30s.

In the aftermath, I reached out to both local management and PF corporate with a straightforward and fair request - to revoke their membership due to their blatant disregard for PF's policies and fundamental principles of respect, not to mention the potential legal implications of the man's menacing conduct. However, despite it being nearly three months since the incident, I have yet to receive any communication from Planet Fitness addressing the matter or offering a resolution of any kind.

Lastly, I implore PF to enhance their staff training in effectively dealing with such incidents. This episode starkly contradicts the "Judgment-Free Zone" environment that Planet Fitness purports to cultivate. However, even though this experience was deeply disheartening, I am not seeking an apology, nor do I want any staff member to be dismissed from their job.
