They greet you, they help you, they actually see you — it’s the kind of positivity that makes you want to stick around longer than your workout requires.

The gym itself is stacked with plenty of weights and machines, so I never feel like I’m waiting around or improvising with equipment that isn’t there. Everything you need for a solid workout is ready to go.

And the cleanliness? Immaculate. This place is so spotless in the morning you’d think they reset the entire gym overnight — shiny machines, fresh floors, and everything in order.

If you want a gym that’s clean, well-equipped, and run by morning staff who are basically sunshine in human form, Planet Fitness is it. 💜💛✨

Switched from another high priced gym two years ago and never looked back. PF is excellent for the price. Great equipment. Always clean and neat and the staff is friendly and always helpful. Marc and team is always there and friendly to all. Rarely over busy and the busy-meter on the site is helpful to see if it is a busy time of the day. The hydro bed and massage chairs are an added bonus when you need them. Also the ability to use other PF locations when I am out of town is great bonus to their membership. Rarely write reviews but this location and gym concept deserve one!

I recently transferred from Anytime Fitness and can tell you I’m thrilled with my initial experience with Planet Fitness. Gym is significantly larger, has vastly more equipment, and it’s clean and well made, not to mention less expensive. It’s a no brainer distinction. My only concern is what was the only advantage Anytime had on Planet-you guessed it-hours of operation. I still go back to Anytime weekends, as I’m an early riser.
Update: Oct 22st 2025. I have cancelled my membership to this gym, as a new gym opened closer to me, is price competitive, and is also open 24/7/365.

Love this gym. I travel for work and have been to many Planet Fitness locations and this is my far the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. The staff is always cleaning and you see everyone wipe down equipment when they are done. I’m not the biggest fan of Planet Fitness not having free weights and have thought of switching to Crunch, but will stay at Planet while I’m working in Leesburg because of the cleanliness and extremely nice and helpful staff.

Was a PF member since opening. PF is well run with friendly staff but inadequate machines and weight lifting space that is taken up by tanning booths and massage chairs. Not a serious gym so had to move on elsewhere last Summer.

Had an issue with my black card not scanning. Asked them if they can look me up using my phone number. I have had to do this before when the card was lost. The night manager was called on the cell phone by the employee working and the manager said no that they can’t do that and I would have to go to my home gym to fix the issue. This is not true. Poor service. Talked to home gym and was told all gyms can look me up by phone number. They would not let me use the gym or offer to call my home gym themselves to verify I am a member. Been using this gym for years.

The best gym in Leesburg. I’ve been to Crunch and LA fitness and none of them operate like PF. Employees make gyms good. PF lacks in equipment, classes, sauna, etc but they blow the others out of the water with everything else. Machines that break are fix within the week unlike the other two. There’s someone cleaning every hour. Crunch is brand new and already has broken machines and trash overflowing. LA fitness should be shut down, so not much to say about that place. If you need the extras then this isn’t the gym for you. If you want a CLEAN gym that’s with a non judgy vibe this is the perfect spot.

Great gym, but they offer free memberships to high-school children in ye summer, and that makes the gym unusable for paying members. Had to quit and find another gym when 2 weeks in a row couldn't work out due to the gym being literally filled with children and no open weight machines. Wierd business model they got going there. Don't bother if you want to be able to actually work out.

When I tried to cancel my membership that I thought I cancelled months ago a rude employee at the front got smart with me and started to get completely off topic with my situation, a more civilized gentleman who was the manager was a little more helpful. Nonetheless the money I tried to get refunded for all the months I was no longer a member was never refunded to me. And to add to it you have to send a letter or come in person to cancel your membership which is ridiculous.

P.S. do not ask a older gentleman with glasses at the front for help, very rude!

I love it here! Extremely nice employees. They light up like Christmas trees when I walk in. They're definitely near the top of my "favorite humans" list. They greet me with big smiles when I enter and say goodbye every time I leave. It's a real no judgment zone there. I feel seen, accepted, and welcomed there. It's like that 80's show "Cheers" when Norm walks in and everyone shouts, "NORM!" That's how I feel when I arrive. They are genuinely kind and compassionate. Brandon, the managers, is super nice and cute 😏. Great customer service starts at the top, and he hired people like him to work there and it shows.

Another pro, it's spotless! The cleanest gym that I've ever been in. I've showered at Ashburn (which is my second top favorite PFs), Sterling on 28, and Centerville, toured the other Sterling gym on 7, which was the worst 😳. I held my breath and ran to my car. I could feel the Covid in the air.

😏 I'm a little OCD 👀 about touching germy stuff in public places. I carry a small bottle of Lysol mist in my purse. I caught RSV, after relaxing my mask-wearing at work so I don't care, I'm not getting sick again. Plus, I've seen too many grown women walk out of the stalls and not wash their hands, so I spray everything even if it looks clean. If I didn't see someone clean it right before using it, then it's dirty. At the Leesburg PF, I feel at ease cuz Katie cleans like she went to Mary Poppins' boarding school for girls. But I still use their spray to sanitze the showers, lockers, and changing room cuz I'm extra and a little crazy 😏 but if you're completely sane, then you won't need to spray them is my point, cuz it's cleaner than the Board of Health there.

My favorite part is the spa-like showers and big dressing rooms. They have glass shower doors, not those icky germy shower curtains that other PF's have that make you want to take another shower at home after they touch you. The showers are huge! Fully tiled and grouted. The shower shelf is deep and leveled, not slanted like at other PF's. All my shower stuff can fit and not fall on the floor. They have four big changing rooms, each has a lockable door, mirror, and a ledge to put things on. The only thing I wish there was a hook behind the door.

I can tell the builders surveyed and brainstormed with actual members, used their feedback to design the perfect PF. Seriously, what other PF's got wrong, the Leesburg PF took notes, studied, and got right. Love my humans at Leesburg PF ❤️.

I have poor blood circulation on my right leg and they have the Hydromax massage beds and the message chairs which are so important for me plus the gym for 24.99 a month it is definitely the way for me to start off the new year, it comes out to 83 cents a day. I feel so blessed because I feel so good after I leave the gym. At 55 I am only doing a few sets on the weights and then 10 minutes on the Hydromax and 10 minutes on the massage chair but I leave feeling like my health is improving which is very important to me.

Great facility, helpful staff, state-of-the-art equipment, and clean, full-functioned locker room/showers! I love the massage chairs as well. My best decision was to drop a local Rec Center and choose PF ... less expensive and best meets my overall fitness needs.

Unfortunately they are not 24/5. There's about 9 people who sit outside in the parking lot Saturday mornings waiting for them to open starting around 6 am...... Times should be adjusted to be open earlier than 7. They're only 24 hours 3 days a week and that's not what their business states on the websites. The planet fitness in sterling is open 24 hours 7 days a week, hoping leesburg will adjust to be the same as I know many many people wish it was.

I've been coming to this gym everyday for a couple weeks now. The staff here are extremely friendly and the equipment is constantly clean. The building gives off a motivating atmosphere and it's never too warm or cold inside. Some of the equipment is a little dated but that is far and few between. The dated equipment will not hinder your experience, it just means that some of the weight intervals may not be consistent between other planet fitness gyms that have all their equipment up to date. Most of the stations have two of the same type there. For the majority of stations, this isn't an issue. However, for the more popular equipment, this can mean that both stations are constantly in use. Other than that, this gym is wonderful! Due to my personal routes, this is the gym I'll be working out at everyday for the foreseeable future.

I really enjoy coming to this gym! It’s always looks clean and smells clean anytime I come here. The front desk staff are all so pleasant. I had some issues with signing up through my insurance and they were determined to help me get my membership in order. They said don’t worry about it, you can come anytime you want to workout. They were able to get the issue resolved in a few days and I was able to officially get my barcode made.

I’ve seen the staff check each machine one by one to make sure it’s working properly and they check things off their maintenance clipboard as they go. I really appreciate how the showers are clean, the bathrooms are cleaned, basically everything is impeccably cleaned. Even when we come late at night the facilities remain clean.

The good- very clean facility! Beautiful spacious locker room with frosted glass shower doors. There is a changing room across from each shower for every shower. Thank you (not all PF’s have this). Newer equipment.
The okay- it’s a smaller gym. The equipment is a bit weird and not fully adjustable- example- I couldn’t do lat pulls properly because I couldn’t lower the bar low enough to secure my legs. The stretching and ab room is REALLY crammed in- hardly any room to put down a mat. (In just the hour I was there- I saw 5 people get frustrated with that). There was a wait for the free weight room at 1pm. We’ve been traveling the US and have been to multiple PF’s so I am able to compare- not bad- Just my two cents…

This Planet Fitness location is clean with well supplied cleaning stations. My health is the key reasons of why I am there, and I feel Planet Fitness helps me keep that in mind with a sanitized atmosphere. Thinking of atmosphere, it's calming here. Everyones doing their own thing. The layout is fantastic. Different areas to help me stay focused. Staff is there if you need them, but not crowding my personal space. Oh no! Never again. Came here because my local PF changed hours. It was a hot, muggy, rainy Tues morning. The person at the front was asleep. I went straight to the Smith Machine to warm up for squats...and they had zero air circulation. My first warmup had me dripping with sweat and absolutely no relief besides the bottle of water I brought with me. I pushed through a few different exercises, but couldn't finish my planned workout for the day because it was too unbearable. When I left I felt symptoms of heat exhaustion. They need to turn the air on or they're going to freaking kill somebody. I will never be back here.

Everything! From the friendly greeting and departure, to the cleanliness of the bathrooms and gym. All the equipments are well maintained and they are even kept in great shape not only from the staff but from the clients itself. Almost feels like entering to workout at a higher tier fitness club without the big dip in your pockets. This is why I choose to have both me and my wife as black card members. We even have enjoyed the perk of visiting other gyms outside the state; inclusively a few in Puerto Rico while vacationing. The only one that has been a disappointment to visit has been the one in Ashburn, VA. Besides this all locations are wonderful! Yet, the Leesburg, VA location is the BEST! Kudos to them. 👍🏼👍🏼

This is a great Planet Fitness. I remember that they opened maybe a year ago. It still looks very new, they're just better staff now. So this is the first gym I've paid to be a member of, and I can honestly say I have no regrets after 3 weeks. Their equipment is in really good, almost new, condition. I go early, so it isn't very busy, but each day that I've witnessed them cleaning regularly, and making sure the place was tidy and squared away.
They have ALOT of cardio machines, but their kettle bell selection is lacking. Plenty of dumbbells when I've gone, and when they say judgement free zone, I believe it.
Originally bought the $15 no Commitment membership but considering upgrading to the $25 one to enjoy the massaging water beds. Tested one out after tweaking my back and it was amazing.
Ample parking, easy to find, clean restrooms....yep, it's good.

This is my favorite branch! It's always clean and equipments are well maintained. Staff are great too.

Only down side is it can be very crowded, but hey, what can you do about that.
