Medium to large size parking lot, okay for RV access, a little limited for 18-wheeler access. Clean facility, medium size, all the equipment was in good conditions and the places very quiet, working out during the day. Area this would be my permanent gym. Good value.

Canceled my membership here. I was not informed that "service animals" are allowed on the gym floor. I am severely allergic to dogs. This is not a park it's an enclosed space that the patrons pay for. I will be finding another gym that doesn't allow animals. Furthermore this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Good luck when some poor patron who doesn't smell right to the "service animal" gets mauled in one of your establishments.

Its very kind of you to allow people to bring their "service dogs" to the gym. In doing so you help out that one person. Unfortunately you don't take into account the health or safety of the rest of your patrons when doing this. Many people like myself have allergies. Some severe. This makes working out in an enclosure next to these animals hazardous to our health. Furthermore though people have different levels of hygiene dogs virtually have none. You now introduce that factor into your gym. Additionally there's the safety. The 1st time someone gets bit or attacked in one of your gyms will probably be the last time your gym will be called planet fitness. Most gyms do not allow service animals for the reasons I described. So I have options and will be taking that opportunity to find a safer environment.

First off, the only reason I'm giving planet fitness 3 stars is because all the matrix equipment they installed back in 2023. Sorry, but these treadmills are a joke. They don't support the runner. None of the timers work right. Speed and distance aren't correct either, and that's on everyone I've been on. Like it literally threw my workout off so bad that one time I thought something was wrong with me. Besides that issue, this place deserves 5 stars. The team members are super nice and helpful. They are always cleaning something, whether the locker rooms or equipment. So I can not say anything bad about anything else there. I would recommend going at off times to avoid the senior citizen club early in the morning or the blue collar crew after 430, and the weekends, we'll good luck it's just busy. But can you complain for 15 bucks 20 for the platinum membership that includes tanning and massage beds? Yea, i didn't think so, either.

I checked this place out while on vacation to keep up with the routine. The staff was incredibly friendly, the place was clean as could be and it was never over crowded. I really enjoyed my time there and of course got a great workout in while I was there! Highly recommend!

Heart monitors on 90% of treadmills do not work, hybrid vibration does not work, water is luke warm at best. Staff is friendly but not well trained with equipment. Bathrooms and spa area are not or do not seem to be cleaned frequently. Constant change in managers has been very confusing.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Equipment is in good condition. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because of the cold water in showers. I asked the staff and they said they have tried to fix it and we're unable. This was the staunton gym. The waynesboro gym has same issue but I didn't talk to staff there.

Pretty nice gym but they don’t even let a kid sit on the couch and wait for someone I could understand if they was near equipment but it makes no sense all he is doing is sitting on a couch just the rules overall is just stupid there’s not much gyms that have rules that are so stupid like that not worth it

Not sure in it’s just this location or Planet Fitness in general but their cancellation policy needs to be revised. They require you to cancel your membership in person even if you moved out of state. That’s one way they trap you into a membership.

Staff is very unfriendly. They say they live by no judgment zone(their words)When Jamaica their head trainer judges everyone. Jamaica is an embarrassment to gyms nationwide. Honestly, I know most Planet Fitness locations are very similar, but it really seems like this one is so much cleaner than any other ones that I've been to. The gym is perfectly laid out, and it's incredibly easy to find a parking space.

Good gym, but TURN THE AC ON PLEASE. PF makes so much money and it doesn’t make any sense why certain locations don’t have any type of air conditioning. Almost felt like passing out halfway through my workout. And it’s winter time.

Came in with my fiancée (already a member) ready to switch to PF due to the price and convenience of working out together, however I wanted to give it a try first before committing to changing gyms (a big decision in anyone's life).

Found out (once I was already there) that this location doesn't participate in the Planet Fitness free trial and I'd have to pay $20 just to try it for a day (which wouldn't even get applied to the membership fee if I did decide to join after my workout).

Left a bad taste in our mouths so ended up having my fiancée switch to my gym instead.

New opening of a planet fitness. Not many people, so it was a great experience. Parking lot had a few spaces open. The lady's at the desk were so helpful and friendly. The equipment was spotless. The bathroom was clean. Tried out the hydro bed. . .I could have stayed there all day. Did not try out the red light therapy; I'll leave that for next time. I'll be back!

Brand spanking new, and it shows. The place looks like a million bucks and has all the newest equipment you could want. The place even smells like a new car.

So why 4 stars? I almost rated it three, and to ME that's what it earned: the water pressure in the shower is garbage and the water was only lukewarm. A good shower is important to me, as someone who travels for a living.

Day two at the new PF today and it didn’t disappoint! I usually arrive about 6:15am and there were maybe 5 people max! Front desk is welcoming (a lot of the same staff from Waynesboro) and they finally got mats in so I was able to do some post workout stretching on a more comfortable surface. I tried the wellness pod. It’s a lounger like the Hydro but no massage. It’s heated and has scent therapy. You can watch landscapes, listen to a meditation, do guided breathing exercises or even pump up your ego before a busy workday with a pep talk. It was relaxing, but I’ll stick with the massage. Not as much open floor space as Waynesboro but lots of high tech equipment with digital weight screens and rest timers. Pretty cool!
