Garrett is an incredibly knowledgeable trainer. I am a serious go go go person and have always hated stretching/mobility but he made me appreciate the importance of it. I started with him unable to go a day without pain in my shoulder and now am stronger than ever with an arsenal of knowledge on how to keep pain away for good. cannot recommend him enough!

When I started training with Garrett, I hadn’t consistently worked out in years. Life happens and a few years and a couple of kids later my confidence was at an all time low. Making myself a priority while carrying the title of Mom was clearly not my strong suit. Pre-kids, I was no stranger to the gym. I’ve worked out most of my adult life and have met and worked with a multitude of trainers, but there is so much more to a successful trainer than a degree or certification. Training isn’t just physical. It’s mental. It’s emotional. Garrett isn’t just another trainer. He is someone who devotes his time to understanding not only how your body works, but how your mind works as well. He takes into account your strengths and challenges and incorporates modifications into every workout. He puts in the time to understand your goals and what motivates you and then he dedicates his time to creating a personalized plan to help you achieve your goals. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to nutritional advice and the variety of exercises he incorporates into your workout is unlike anything I have ever experienced.
Training with Garrett, I found myself achieving small challenges week after week, month after month. Not only was I building my physical strength and endurance, I was building my self confidence and belief in myself as well. For the first time in years I feel strong. I feel proud. I feel confident in my skin. If you are considering a trainer, consider this. You don’t want just a trainer. You want someone whose energy is infectious. Someone who will help you face your challenges and celebrate your strengths. Someone who is attentive and willing to push you beyond the limitations you have created in your mind. Someone who will jump in on an exercise right beside you encouraging you to finish those last few reps. You want someone who believes in you. Garrett brings so much more to the table than just the title of trainer. He’s a teammate and an encourager. He has your absolute best interest at heart and I guarantee you couldn’t pick a better person to be in your corner.

Garrett is one of the best trainers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. His energy is unmatched…and it truly makes you WANT to give your all every single day. He is so incredibly motivating, understanding, and encourages you to listen to your body, but always makes you feel like you can do anything you put your mind to. I typically don’t last long in a gym setting due to getting unmotivated and bored, but Garrett made things so different. He brings his A-game every single day and it makes you want to do the same. Every extra rep, every extra push, every extra lap I’d always say was for him, and he would quickly remind me that it was actually for ME. Every session was fun, different, and I could always tell how much thought went into making sure we got the best work out. AND he has impeccable taste in music ;) if you’re looking for someone that will give you 100% and get you to your own personal 100%, G is your man.

I have been training with Garrett for about 2 years and am happy with the results that I have been able to attain working with him. Although I am hardheaded at times, he continues to push me and lead me in the direction I need to go to get the results that I want to see. I do struggle with knee pain from time to time during workouts and he will pick up on it right away, even if I am not willing to admit that I am uncomfortable. He ALWAYS has modifications to each exercise if my knee on a particular day is not being a happy participant in the exercise. We also meet on a biweekly basis, and we discussed my goals, my nutrition, and tweaking anything that may not have been working from the previous meeting. He is constantly changing the routine which is something I look for in a training setting because I can easily get bored and give up. I HIGHLY recommend working with Garrett! He is attentive to each of his clients to make sure they are safely working out, but still attaining their goals and he brings an energy to a session that I have not found in other trainers. It will be your best decision yet to work with him -- PROMISE!

I’ve been working with Garrett Nealon for over a year now and I could not be happier! When I first came to him I was an overweight, 53 yr old female who wanted to make a change and become active again but struggled with knee pain with most exercises. First he sat me down and went over my nutrition, and really focused on what I needed to be taking in and how it was important to eat but also what to eat. I have become physically stronger with decreased knee pain with the exercises that he has shown me. I am finally able to do things like jog or make lateral movements without pain. I have lost over 30lbs all while increasing muscle. I feel and look better then I have in years. I would definitely recommend him and his services.
