I actually loved the workout and felt really proud of myself for completing the entire session! I really appreciate how you all send out the stats—that’s such a great motivator.

I mentioned to the instructor, Markus, that I’m on a mission to lose 75 more pounds as part of my fitness journey. I’ve been trying to figure out what approach would work best for me, and I would love to have your support along the way.

The overall atmosphere was amazing. I felt welcomed, and the other members were so kind and encouraging. I’ll admit, I was a little nervous and unsure if I’d be able to keep up, but with some practice, I’m confident that my form and stamina will improve. I will be attending again!

This was my first time attending a row class and want to say I enjoyed ever bit of the 45 minute workout. Walking into the Row House was very inviting. The staff and people there was very friendly and welcoming. Instructor Melissa was AMAZING!!!...when I arrived she showed me around and then showed me how to work the machine while beside me demonstrating. I will be back for more. I definitely recommend anyone to give it a try!!!

The environment is so clean and welcoming, the coaches and staff are fantastic and very helpful, and I love the vibe in the studio - with the lights down and music up, it feels like you are completely immersed in the workout. First time attending a row class and really enjoyed it! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The facility is clean and the equipment is in great condition. Coach April gave me a quick demonstration and some personal instruction for proper form. The class is set to upbeat music and the people in class kept things fun too! Definitely a great workout, and they also incorporate some stretching and core strengthening. I’m not sure if these stats are good or not but I’m proud of myself for a first attempt. Definitely recommend you give it a try! And your first class is free so there is no excuse to not go and check it out! Enjoy!

As a 1st time roww-er, I felt slightly intimidated being slightly over weight and a senior. Almost immediately my feelings were put to rest. The person who signed me up was informative and kind. The instructor educated me prior to class, as has every other instructor when they notice I could be doing something better. Really enjoy this class. Gino is my favorite trainer as he is fun and coaches us all to push our limits. I also really like the music and lighting and size of the class. I highly recommend this exercise for anyone looking for an effective work out.
Also they have added express classes so you can get a great workout in 30 minutes.

Love the atmosphere and vibe this place gives off. I have only attended Melissa’s classes and I love her energy! I was super nervous at first because I have NEVER done anything like this…but the people who attended the classes are also encouraging and supporting. I love it when I would feel like I’m about to tap out and side-eye my neighbor and they glance back at me and say…ya, we got this. You got this!

Row House is the perfect fit. The community is diverse & friendly, the gym feels intimate yet energetic, the coaches are fun and bring their own personality to their workouts. You can self-regulate your intensity level, but the collective effort is visible, which gives you inspiration to find 10% more. Workouts are streamlined, focused, and effective, with enough dopamine to float on all morning. I'm noticing more muscle definition and core strength overall, too. This was my second time at Row House! The first time I did an express 30 minute full row and it was amazing. I've never rowed before and I found it intense, exciting, pushing and fulfilling. 🤣 for my next class I tried the open no instructor row class. I was able to go at my own pace. I found that it was still encouraging, full of energy and motivating. This place rocks! The instructors are all friendly and everyone that I've met has been so friendly. I love the environment! No pushy coaches selling a program. Just you, the row machine and and enthusiastic instructor if you choose that class. 💯% recommended!!

Their instruction is clear, and always offers helpful adjustments to ensure everyone is rowing with proper form and maximizing their workout. Whether you’re a seasoned rower or a complete beginner, they have a way of making you feel comfortable, while helping you achieve your personal fitness goals.

The class itself is a full-body workout that is both challenging and rewarding. The mix of rowing intervals and strength exercises makes it dynamic and keeps you constantly engaged. After each session, I feel not only physically stronger but mentally energized as well.

I signed up with my daughter who has a knee issue and avoids aggravating her joints, I didn’t expect her to be as excited about keeping her membership as she is! We are both throughly enjoying our experience, from the first greet we felt welcome and comfortable, I can’t say enough great things about the coaches, they are all very professional and passionate about what they do, they have all been great, on our first class they took the time to make sure we understood proper form and how to follow the lesson, they are great at motivating everyone to power through.

I have only been a member here since the end of May 2024, but I cannot say enough wonderful things about Row House Midlothian. The owners, management, employees, and members are all wonderful. Manager Macie goes above and beyond for us members as do all of her staff! All the coaches including April, Melissa, Markus, Geraldine, and Gino are all incredibly encouraging and help make this the outstanding community it is. First time rower, first time row house, first exercise class in a long time. Really enjoyed my experience. Arrived early, coach Beth took time to explain the rower and the rowing technique and offered personal feedback both before and after class.

During class positive encouragement both on and off rower and no singling out if not matching the pace or rhythm of the exercise she's doing at the moment.

You get out of class what you put into it for sure. I was tired and sweaty afterwards and look forward to more classes in the future.

What a great workout- I love that it was challenging and it got my heart rate up but it is easy on the joints, no impact on the knees and feet and it was really fun. Also loved that the class was all ages, sizes and fitness levels. Walking into the class, I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve never taken a row class before and honestly I felt slightly nervous booking. When I got to studio, everyone was so welcoming and warm, which eased my nerves. The women at the front desk were beyond helpful and made me feel unbelievably comfortable.

But let’s talk about the actual class; it kicked my butt!!! lol In a good way though. I had another coach beside me taking the class (forgive me for not remembering names at this current moment) and she motivated me the entire time along with the class coach. First time doing a rowing class. Loved it! I’m currently nursing a lower extremity basketball injury, so I’ve been looking for different ways to remain in shape. The Row House was great. I accidentally signed up for a class that includes rowing and leg exercises (squats, lunges, etc), so my injured leg prevented me from completing it all. The instructor was great, though. She offered other exercises to do and allowed me to rest my leg. Definitely give this place a shot if you’re interested in fun and challenging exercise classes!

Love Row House! I’ve been coming here for over a month and have enjoyed all the instructors, music and staff. I wasn’t sure if this would be for me because I’ve had a knee replacement and I’m not in great shape. It’s turned out to be excellent! My knee flexion and extension is smoother after just a few sessions. I can tell I’m getting stronger and I’m consistently doing a bit better each row. Plus the atmosphere with good music, great instructors and rhythmic rowing makes it a relaxing yet challenging workout. Thank you Row House Midlothian and staff. I’m glad I gave it a try.

Once I heard that rowing uses 86% of your body's muscles, I was super interested. Now I can say, I just finished my first ever rowing experience and I'm all in! The facility is new and the staff is great. After my free introductory class, Macie patiently helped me start my monthly membership. My instructor, Beth, showed me the basics of rowing. Then she quickly got us moving with regular encouragement, setting ongoing goals, and playing a motivating playlist of classic rock! After 45 minutes w one break for stretching, she slowed the pace and ended our session. The workout was great fun! Being in a room w 15 or more rowers really challenges a person to exercise hard and stay motivated. There are other classes available that offer different objectives. Some stopping more frequently and some using weights. I can't wait to join Beth and her class again.

I had my first class last night and was very nervous about knowing absolutely nothing about the machine. Coach Susanna walked me through all the steps and remained so patient and kind throughout. The class itself had really happy energetic people and made me feel right at home. Coach Susanna was energetic, pumped and engaging throughout the whole class. Update: It took me from March 2023 to Sept 2023 to cancel my membership. I was charged $15 to freeze my account so I called back and told them that I wanted to cancel it. They gave me a number to text and I was texting that almost every month I was charged; I was told it'll be fixed the following week. Every time that I called, Row House would take down my information and continued to tell me that they will get back to me or they will call me back in an hour. They never called me back. I finally went into the store in Sept 2023. The "manager" I had been texting finally cancel my membership. She told she would not refund the money but I can get a credit for the months that I was charged ($387).

I enjoy coming to row with friends and coworkers here! It’s been a while since I found a workout I enjoy. Row House offers different classes at different times. Row House always makes it a point to celebrate the accomplishments of their members and staff. The staff has been very friendly to me as well. It’s a great environment. The only con is that membership is PRICEY. Someone told me I can’t put a price on health though :/

My 1st workout was great. A few hours prior to check in, staff reached out to me to go over any injuries or limitations I may have had and to explain the class to me. When I arrived, she took my coat, offered me a towel & walked me to my row station. I met the instructor and he had my seat ready. He went over the entire rowing technique. When I say trained staff, knowledgeable & outstanding customer service. Now prior to my scheduling, I called and spoke to Messie & she took her time and educated me on the facility. I want to share my experience at Row House. I started a weight loss journey on January 2, 2023. My goal was 60 lbs. I had no exercise goal or plan at that time. On June I had lost 38 lbs and began to think about exercise when I saw an invitation on Facebook to try a free Row House class. I was greeted and instructed by a wonderful staff my first visit. I completed the 45 minute class and felt so empowered and accomplished after just one class. So I went back and the feeling that this was my answer to better health continued to grow. The staff always encouraging and inspiring me. I am only 3 lbs away from 60 lb goal and I have not felt this good since I was in my thirties. I am 67 years old, I have a knee that will not let me run or perform other weight bearing exercises. Rowing has transformed me into a healthier, happier person. I try to row every other day. The Row House is cleanly maintained, equipment is in perfect running condition, staff always friendly and knows me by name. I am so grateful for this place.
