Hello this is no disrespect to the community but whatever is going on behind doors is strictly unprofessional. A family member of mine has recently been really stressed about work here. She is constantly missing out time to spend with her family and whenever she does get work off she spends it stressing about having enough time. In more recent times, she has snapped at her kids, is always on edge, and constantly taking it out on her family. We all agree she is not herself with this job. Please give out more breaks and take in to consideration that people have kids and a life.

This was a tough 2 weeks. The weather was rainy and cold for almost 6 days if my training. I got sick during my last week but I didn't let it get in the way of my T shirt and certificate. The instructors were awesome. My teammates were very encouraging. If it wasnt for all of the running I would have become a full member. Thank you to everyone who helped pull me thru when I so wanted to QUIT. Thanks GUYS!!!!

I been working out with Seal Team Physical Training for almost a year. This is my favorite hour of the day, The organization is top notch and so are my teammates. My fitness level has improved so much that I actually ran the Richmond Half Marathon last weekend!

I have been a member of Sealteam Physical Training for almost 15 years. When you become strong physically you go on to be stronger emotionally and in your daily life. Not only did I get in shape, but I got through a divorce, started my own mountain bike business and made life long friends. Team work is the basis of this amazing outdoor fitness program and helped me achieve more than I could ever imagine. I highly recommend Sealteampt to everyone regardless of theirr current fitness level. The group will take care of you and help you work towards your goals and be the best you can be.

At 59 yrs old with the past 4 years of STPT, I have more muscle tone now than I had in my 20s and 30s. I also travel a lot for work, and I find STPT to be a cure for jet lag, getting my body's sleep cycle and digestive system back on schedule quickly. The enthusiasm of the STPT members is highly contagious. The professionalism of the staff is unmatched.

I joined Seal Team PT in 2012 after my wife joined and raved about it. Having worked out my entire life (mostly in a gym), I was skeptical but also looking for something new. Since joining, I've never looked back. I've completed a half and full marathon, several adventure races, and am in the best shape of my life. It's the most inspiring team I've ever been a part of. The team work, encouragement, leadership, and adventure are something you won't find anywhere else.

I joined the Seal Team recently after hearing about it from a friend, and have decided to continue long term, there is a supportive team atmosphere that makes it fun, and I push myself harder and get more exercise than I would on my own. The variety of times, locations, and workouts make it feasible even with a busy schedule and keep it fresh. Great group and instructors!

Awesome group of people to work out with and amazing instructors. I was not in shape when I started and while I'm still getting there, I've seen a marked improvement in my fitness level and weight loss.

I've accomplished so many fitness and health goals with Seal Team PT by my side. Best workout group for all abilities. Never would have run 3 marathons without them!

I started SEAL TEAM PT a little over 3 years ago and it was a game changer! Seal team is competitive, supportive and most importantly FUN! The instructors are hands down the best out there in the fitness industry and workouts are designed to be challenging and safe. They work in critical thinking skills, group work and leadership skills which is where they have every other fitness group beat. I have grown in my fitness level, as a leader and as a person. I am more confident and happy thanks to Seal Team and the incredible community that makes it up. Hooyah!

Absolute best workout you will get anywhere, hands down. I saw my fitness improve an incredible amount, even only after the 2 week bootcamp. Now I continue to attend workouts and my fitness continues to improve. The teamwork is a great way to get to know people and make new friends. Everyone is nice and welcoming and you feel a part of the family instantly. I definitely recommend trying it out!

After graduating college and moving to Richmond for the summer, I wanted to find a work out program that would push me both physically and mentally. Since starting the program, I have learned two things about SEAL Team PT. 1st, the workouts are designed to push each individual to their limit. Instead of telling you exactly what will be done in a work out (ie. 300 push ups or 3 miles of running) instructors break up each event into evolution's. This allows for a great workout without evolution's seeming insurmountable. The 2nd thing I've learned is how much of a close community SEAL Team PT is. During workouts, everyone is encouraged to motivate others so that each person attains a higher level of fitness. I've also become close with my new class and enjoy getting to know some of the more seasoned members. While I have to leave Richmond in September, I can certainly understand why many SEAL Team Members have been with the program for years (some even for more than a decade).

Great way to get in shape! Really love the team work and everyone helping to make sure we are all doing exercises the right way. Very positive and inclusive attitude. The workouts are challenging but they make everyone feel comfortable regardless of their fitness level or age.

This training is awesome! It is not a boot camp and you will not be yelled at. It is a team based workout that encourages all levels of fitness to work with each other to reach personal goals. From day one the Instructors and members were encouraging and supportive. When I started, I was middle age, out of shape, and overweight. I never felt left behind when I was struggling at the back of the pack. There was always someone coming back to encourage me. The members were very supportive and encouraged me to do my best, but also respected me when I needed to take a break. All workouts are outdoors at local parks and every workout is different. Since joining STPT, I have lost 50 lbs. and have kept it off. Perhaps the most valuable part of the STPT experience is the teamwork, leadership skills, and confidence you gain. There is much more to STPT than push-ups and sit-ups. I highly recommend STPT! My only regret is not joining sooner.

I was a 3-letter athlete in high school, active throughout college and into grad school, but lost focus on that as life and kids and work stacked up. Joined STPT at age 48. Best. Investment. Ever. Within 6 months of joining I ran a half-marathon, nearly 2x my prior longest distance, and at a pace that was faster than previous 10K runs. Within 16 months I had dropped nearly 8 minutes off that half-marathon time while getting into peak condition. This is the most engaging fitness program I have ever tried, it truly is all ages / both genders / all ability levels.

I had heard of SEAL Team and knew someone who was a member but felt somewhat intimidated after reading about carrying logs, other people, etc. I eventually asked the member I knew about it, attended a Bring-a-Friend workout, and immediately signed up. I wish I'd done it years earlier. Yes, we carry logs, and yes, we carry each other. Note the "we." We do all these things together, making the workouts more fun but also a bit harder. I don't want to let my team down, so I push myself a bit harder to help the others out, which gives me a better workout. The instructors stress the form of each exercise over the number done--doing more push-ups incorrectly does not give the workout that doing a few correctly does. After a year, I am, at 57, in better physical shape than I was as a teenager. SEAL Team has given me the physical shape and mental confidence to attempt things I never thought I could and succeed at them. (I may well be the oldest woman to complete a GORUCK Challenge.) Apart from the physical workout I get each weekday, I get to watch the sun rise during the workout or as I drive home, and some of those sunrises have been utterly incredible. In short, you should at least try it; I'm betting you will like it.

SEAL Team PT is by far the BEST fitness program I have ever done in my life (and I am 52 )!! The "Team Based" approach is amazing. The instructors and other members are so supportive of each other. I have been a member for 4 years and my workouts with STPT are the best hour of my day. Don't hesitate - it could change your life, as it did mine!

P.S. I'm not sure who that other negative review is from - but I don't think she has ever been to a real SEAL Team PT class - because everything she says is the opposite of the true program. Come check it out for yourself - you will see!

YOU DON’T GET THIS AT THE GYM is more than a statement it’s an experience when it comes to Seal Team Pt. When I was in High School I hated any day that we did a physical test because I was towards the back in the mile run or on the lower scale of completed pushups and sit up. Toward the end of my freshman year of college I decided that I wanted to join the Marines after college and began to work out on my own with good progress but I kept running into the same problem which was I didn’t know what to do next whether it was a specific workout or a day. I had no trouble working the arms but abs and legs were always a challenge to me because I had no diversity and was always unsure of my form. My girlfriend saw a thing on Seal Team and showed it to me which immediately sparked my interest and I soon signed up for the two week basic class nervous about what was to come because I knew I could work out at my pace but not sure how I stood against others. The first day we did a PT test to see where we stood and then the days that followed we worked on improving both are scores and form. At the end of the two weeks I was blown away by not only my improvement in such a short time but by the people who I met. Everything we did was a team effort if you finish the race first you ran back to last to help your buddy finish as well. The day the basic class ended I signed up for a membership in the West End and have not once regretted it. I’ve made many friends and no longer have to worry about what to do next or about form because your surrounded by people on all sides who help you so that you get the full benefit of the workout. I went from dreading PT day to loving it. You will see results if you go to the classes and give it your all, I went from running last place in high school to almost always being in the top 5 runners of groups 30+. You go at your own pace so if you haven’t worked out in years you’ll still finish the race the same time as the marathon runner because the race keeps going until everyone’s finished which only strengthens the team work Seal Team involves and creates. Since my signing up in July I have seen tremendous improvements in both my working out and my health I feel and sleep better than I had before Seal Team, I fully recommend this program to anyone who’s looking at improving themselves.

I recently completed my two week boot camp. I have found the team to be very supportive. I find myself challenged each day. It's never the same workout. It's hard work mixed with fun! I am not one of the fast ones, but never feel left behind. I highly recommend to anyone looking to grow stronger, healthier and work with a great group of people.

do NOT i repeat do NOT waste your money.. they broadcast how its "seal" training, they have people there who arnt even military training you, they make you pay a ridiculous amount of money for bootcamp where they tell you to "do at your own pace" but u really cant, they make a person with an injury or who isnt AS physically fit feel like a loser. U will simply just get left behind. Its a bunch of health nuts competing and trying to outdo the other. they make 100% profit, training you at FREE spots using your own gas just to run around and do some push ups etc... I regret ever signing up for the bootcamp
