S.L.A.M. Sweat Like a Mother Quantico is a comprehensive fitness program for women in all stages of motherhood, pregnant, postpartum and beyond, but it is also so much more than just a fitness group. We are a community and we strive to bring women together as moms and as athletes. We believe in showing our children that your body is the greatest instrument that you will ever own, and that through movement you can build strength. Our classes combine fitness with camaraderie, and offer an opportunity for women to come together under a common goal of bettering themselves, challenging themselves, and becoming the best version of themselves that they can be. Kids are welcome to come every day. Playgroup, Mom's Night Out, and more included!

I joined SLAM Quantico 2 years ago and it was such a great decision! I love being a part of this community. Before joining, I really struggled with motivating myself to exercise. The coaches at SLAM Quantico make it fun to workout with your friends! And they always meet you where you are, no matter what stage of motherhood you’re in. If you’re on the fence about checking us out, please come!

SLAM Quantico has been a great way for me to work out! My kids love going with me and they love all the play dates and park time after class. The coaches are great and each have fun and challenging work outs! The moms in the group are so friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend this for any moms in the area!

I’ve never felt so comfortable in such a large group of women! The workout is great. But being able to show up as I am has been incredible as a first time mom with no family nearby. Haven’t shaved your legs in a week? No one cares. Gotta nurse baby in the middle of class? You don’t need to go hide in the bathrooms. Spit up on your shirt, toddler tantrums, whatever is it - there’s no shame from this group, and it’s something every mother should get to experience at some point in their journey

I joined this group a year ago when I first moved to the area and it was the best thing I could have ever done. Not only am I getting out and doing FUN workouts, but I’m doing so without the worry of my kids getting me called back to the gym daycare within 15 minutes of getting there. My kids love going to SLAM classes as much as I do! SLAM doesn’t just offer workouts, they also offer community and friendship that I am so grateful for everyday!! I highly recommend this group to ANYONE. The instructors are all wonderful helping with modifications if needed and keeping it fun!

So thankful for this community of mamas and kiddos. I have been working out with SLAM for 3 years now, through pregnancy, postpartum and in between. Through it all, the coaches have been amazing, encouraging, modifying when my body was growing another human, and helping me feel the strongest and healthiest probably in my whole life. Not to mention, the friendships me and my kids have made, the field trips, MNO, book club and allll the things. So thankful for SLAM Q!

SLAM is the best of both worlds...a place where kids of all ages are welcomed, and a place where Moms can get in a great workout. The community is welcoming and the workouts are top notch!

It’s not just a workout group, it’s a community for moms. Don’t get me wrong, the workouts are great. The classes offered have such great variety- kickboxing, weightlifting, barre, cardio, pelvic floor strengthening- and more! The bonus is that this is a warm and caring group and joining creates a great opportunity for lasting and vital friendships. Slam can be your village!

Joined 2022 peak of the pandemic after having my baby and was looking for ways to get back into my health routine but wasn’t sure where to start and honestly lacked motivation. Thankful and grateful I found this group; they offered support and community as well as a workout that is great for ALL levels of fitness. Instructors are knowledgeable and offer a variety of classes (upper/lower body, yoga, barre etc.) They’ve recently added some virtual classes *10/10 recommend* and in person classes.
Others perks: after workout playgroups and activities, Mom nights out, book clubs, field trips etc. highly recommend.

I came from another country and had to start over and was brought to SLAM by a great woman. I was welcomed with open arms and was able to immediately find contacts, support and a good vibes. Lyndsay brings joy and experience with a lot of empathy.
There is something for every person sports wise. The community that comes with it is fantastic and the moms are always there for each other. I am very grateful for this group. Thank you 🫶❤️

Absolutely love working out with these amazing, strong and supportive women. I am so happy to finally have found my group and was welcomed in as if I had always been a member. I look forward to my workouts and feel supported and empowered while I am there. I feel free to be me with no judgement whatsoever. My children love going to SLAM with me and I’m happy to be setting a great example for them. All of the coaches at SLAM Quantico are so caring and offer modifications for all fitness levels. It is truly like working out with your friends. I also love all the monthly events we get to look forward to. For the first time in my motherhood journey, I get to fill my cup without guilt and feel like a better momma for it. I can’t recommend this group enough and tell everyone I can about it. I love feeling like myself again.

I have to shout-out this workout group that I’ve been in love with since I joined in May of 2022. Finding SLAM Quantico in Virginia is the best thing I could have done for my physical health, mental health and social well-being. SLAM is a workout group for moms of every fitness level. It’s a safe space to workout with your kids right next to you, sweat over many different styles of fitness classes lead by ACE certified fitness instructors and find friendships that will last a lifetime. Monthly book clubs and Mom’s night outs are bonus perks! I want to thank all of the moms who I have SLAM’d next to over the years. You all are amazing, strong women who have been there for me through thick and thin. You’ve made me laugh, you’ve given advice and you’ve provided shredded shoulders for me to lean on. I love to SWEAT LIKE A MOTHER!
Come as you are and make some gains while you’re here! 💪🏼💜

Joining SLAM Quantico was the best decision I made in my motherhood journey, it was also the best for my physical health, mental health and for my little baby to get out the house, watch us workout and then get their own special playtime with their best friends. I was able to get out of the house in a stress-free environment, everyone is so open and welcoming and join you on the craziness that is motherhood! There are healthy snacks sometimes, organized playgroups, even clothing swaps because everyone has kids at similar ages and stages from newborns to teens! Lyndsay is an amazing coach and instructor, always offering alternatives for all fitness levels and even while pregnant and postpartum. She is encouraging and fun, and truly makes you feel special! This is more than a workout class, these woman have become my best mom friends. I’ve been working out with them since my first baby was three months old and I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd and still heading off to class!
