Iโve been going to this studio for a while and have slowly seen the machines move closer and closer together. As instructed, you need to make quick transitions which is impossible to do safely unless you are thin. Iโve rammed myself with a handlebar a few times in the stomach trying to switch sides or move around and Iโm midsized. It feels like a very unwelcoming place to larger bodied people, all to cram in more machines and bring up profits. Looks like private equity got ahold of Solidcore. Disappointing

I had a terrible experience at Solidcore. According to the staff, I was 6 minutes late, so they denied me entry. Their policy allows only 5 minutes. In reality, I was 5 minutes late, but the staff member took an extra minute to open the door. Seriously? Turned away over 1 minute? After spending over an hour in traffic to get there, this was beyond frustrating. On top of that, the staff member was incredibly rude about the situation. To make matters worse, Iโm being charged $30 for this nonsense. The experience was completely unnecessary, ridiculous, and disappointing. I wonโt be coming back, and I absolutely wouldnโt recommend this place to anyone. Terrible customer service and an absurd policy!

Unexpectedly closed during one of my scheduled classes. No one at the door, no cancellation email, nothing. 8/7 everything was closed with no warning I went here after seeing Crystal City was closed thinking it was a mistake. Nope both sites closed with no warning. Unprofessional

I absolutely adore my peloton but came hoping to get a good workout and begin building community. Unfortunately, the members of the studio were extremely rude, loudly expressed that they hated how new people slowed the workout down, and moved away from where I was because they said I would need too much help and would be getting in the way. It was awful. I did let the manager know it was a bad experience and they said to come to another class. So here is the thing, why would I come back if you foster such a community and treat new comers so poorly. Overall, not something I found welcoming.

I had ana amazing time for my very first Pilates class ever with Claire P. She was extremely good and helpful and constantly checking in on me and assisting me and encouraging me. This was definitely the best impression I have for my first time in Pilates. I will definitely be coming back for more classes.

Literally the most challenging workout I've ever done. This location is ALWAYS busy in my experience so it's a bit tough to get in for classes but the instructors are awesome. I always feel challenged doing Solidcore and even though I've taken a lot of classes, I haven't really plateaued and still feel like I'm getting a good workout in.

I had a 7 am classes came like 1 or 2 minutes late the instructor was walking around seeing me struggle to open the door. Be aware this is my second class, I am so disappointed on how they seen a person struggling to open the door and not helping. I am coming from Arlington which is 20 minutes away, no receiving my class and going back itโs not a good impression of a place. donโt recommend this studio.

Love love love it so far! I just finished class number 3 today. Itโs by far the hardest workout Iโve done in my life and drastically different from any type of working out Iโve ever done. As this class opts for slower movements vs a high number of reps. Iโm looking forward to all of the classes I booked for this month. Destini, Dani, and Jake have been awesome teachers so far. The music is great and they help to really challenge you. I definitely feel stress free after the class and it gives me 50 mins to just zone out and focus on me.

Despite leaving every class feeling like I've been run over by a freight train, this place is awesome. It will push you to the edge of what you think your body can do, but every time you come back, you realize you can do a little more. Special shoutout to Claire who is a great instructor.

Love the workout! This is a great low-impact workout I have been sticking to for 3 years. The pricing is similar to a spin class, and the cancellation policy is similar to many workout classes in the area. Managers and coaches and usually very easy to work with. Free parking is also a bonus!

solidcore is a very intense and also very effective workout. The coaches are great and push you (in a good way). Parking is relatively easy on the street, but if you can't find street parking there is a garage right around the corner that offers the first hour for free.

The hardest, most challenging 50 minutes of my life, exercise-wise.
After finding out that this [solidcore] was finally on ClassPass, I booked my first class and I've been going back weekly. I'm not going to sugarcoat it - [solidcore] is not an easy workout. Your entire body aches, sweats, and shakes throughout and after class. But the instructors are so motivating and your mind wants to go further, so you push yourself. And even if you go to the same instructor week after week, the moves per session vary. Thus while there is routine (most moves are built upon planks, squats, or lunges), there is also tons of variation every class which is what I personally prefer. It never, ever gets boring here.
I call [solidcore] pilates on steroids. You work on these megaformer machines called [sweatlana], and your movements are slow and controlled. Trying to control yourself to slow down is probably the hardest part about [solidcore], but this is the way to ensure a toned, low-impact workout. Classes are small with a maximum of 14 machines so it is akin to having a personal trainer go through a tailored sequence of moves that are most effective for you.
I'm just on the beginner workouts right now, and I've taken classes with both Abby and Ivana. They are both fantastic and highly recommended. The classes are a bit pricey, but they do have a great introductory offer for new clients. Parking here is a breeze; there's both street parking and free garage parking. The facility is also fairly new.
If it's good enough for Michelle Obama, it's good enough for you. Come join the [solidcore] club!

Disappointed with their package policy on expiration dates. Not willing to work with people stuck in a bind.
