Studio D Yoga was founded to provide a healing space for a variety of practices. We offer breathwork, sound healing, art workshops and journaling, trauma informed meditation and mindfulness, and a variety of special events. (Studio D is also available for rental for trainings, private sessions, and an assortment of private events.)
Our yoga students range in age from 35-85. We welcome beginners and offer a gentler style of Hatha and Vinyasa. You are invited to take a class and see if we are a good fit for you.
You will get the feeling of being βat homeβ at Studio D Yoga.

I had my first true yoga class with Debbie and it was lovely. I was hesitant due to a bad experience at Golds Gym. I thought having a private session would be a good first step instead of trying to take a class that might injure me. It was great and I signed up for more.

Last night I attended a breathwork class at Studio D and had a chance to meet the owner Debbie. This space is probably the most beautiful and thoughtfully decorated multipurpose spaces in Richmond. When I brought that up to Debbie, she said that it was her tenth year in the space and so it seems she has had the time to build something special. What is really unique about this place is that it has a spacious lobby/shop that just feels like a place I would like to go and enjoy a cup of tea and chat with friends while waiting for the next class. I would imagine there are lots of people showing up early and staying after to enjoy some extra time there. Even if you don't go for a class, this place is worth taking the time to visit.
Well done Debbie!

I attended my first class at Studio D last night, Gentle Movement with Judy. It was wonderful - I went home full of energy and woke this morning with no pains. The studio is so inviting and calming. It was just a great experience. I will be going back.

Debbie Segebart is a master at meditative and strengthening yoga. Her class allows you to thin and firm your body and core, while soothing your mind for a transformational experience. If you haven't tried Debbie at Studio D Yoga, you have not tried yoga. I would not go anywhere else.
