Awesome experience! I own and use SUP for 2 years, still decided to take a formal instruction course with Surf reston at Lake Audubon. Steve is amazing instructor, he gave easy to follow instructions to first timers and showed to me some tips on getting up on a board, on quicker turns and techniques for speeding. I learned so much from him and now even more enjoy my SUP exercising. The equipment is super clean and very stable. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed learning to paddle board and being able to enjoy the experience so close to home is a plus! Paddle boarding on a Thurs night on Lake Anne allows you hang on your board and enjoy the free concert! Good times;)

Had a great time paddleboarding for a couple of hours on Lake Anne. The teenage instructors did a nice job of getting everyone out, making everyone feel comfortable, and keeping an eye on everyone for safety. We happened to be there on a beautiful day, so that helped too. Definitely recommend!

Best place for anyone looking to Stand-Up Paddleboard! From beginners to experts, Steve and his team will make you comfortable and make sure you are having a great time. Highly recommended! My family and girl scouts have gone to Surf Reston several times and have enjoyed it each time.

I can't say enough good things about Surf Reston. They give you a nice casual time on Reston's lakes for a great price. I've gone more than a few times just because it's so much cheaper than buying my own equipment.

Surf Reston is an excellent summertime option if you're seeking a fun outdoor activity. Their Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) classes and special yoga classes are mainly held at two lakes in the Reston area. Their fee is very reasonable; it includes your board rental, instruction, and commemorative photos. The activity is good for individuals and groups from teen to adult age. Steve and his SUP crew do such a stellar job, that I have been a repeat customer for two years.
