I started practicing with Sytera Yoga years and years ago. The coaches are really great at calling the poses, and how they walked us through every part of the practice. Yvette is especially good. With Yvette, I always know what to do, and which side we were on!!! I also really like the Nadi Ball Method classes. The Vinyasa Strong classes are great too. I like doing classes on line so I don't have to drive half an hour to the studio. I like doing Yoga 2 time a week, so the recording of the classes is really beneficial to me – if I can get the class in.

I am 76 and have practiced yoga with Sytera and later with her chosen teachers since 2010 - to the great benefit of my health, fitness and peace of mind. Over time I surprised myself by developing a daily practice, and have benefited immensely with being able to practice at home or at Sytera’s studio with the same teachers.

I absolutely love Sytera Yoga Studio in Vienna! It’s a warm & welcoming space that offers an excellent suite of classes and times (both in-studio and online) to accommodate busy schedules. I especially love the Nadi Method classes because, after multiple spine surgeries and breast (cancer) reconstruction, my body needed what physical therapy was missing. The Nadi Method is designed to take care of the body’s scaffolding (fascia) while enjoying the stretching, strengthening, and mindful benefits of yoga. It has been life changing for me and I am so grateful to Sytera Yoga for offering these classes in Northern Virginia.

I’ve been with Sytera since right before the pandemic and it has been a life changer for me to be able to come to the yoga mat a few times a week and practice mindfulness and strengthen and stretch my body. Her unique Nadi ball method is the perfect mix between yoga and a massage and I love how accessible and variable the class schedule is. The teachers are amazing and her studio is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend SyteraYoga!

I have been going to SyteraYoga since October of 2024. My yoga emphasis at this time is: Breath Meditation, Yin and Stretch and Flow. I am interested in yoga for meditation (due to life stress) and core strengthening for the pelvic floor. With that in mind, I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my classes.
My favorite Instructors are:
Amanda Duncan (I love her Stretch and Flow and Yin Yoga classes-you can tell Amanda really cares about her yoga students. She puts a lot of hard work, love and adds some modern day everyday humor to her sessions).
Antonia Nguyen (Breathe Meditation class is another one of my favorites along with still working on my balance and strength for her Vinyasa Flow class- Antonia is so down to earth and funny and has great stories with wisdom.) In fact, my Pelvic Floor Therapist recommended Antonia and SyteraYoga to me because she has attended Antonia's classes in the past and she is a yoga instructor for her Pelvic Floor Therapy clinic. Antonia has the utmost respect for My Pelvic Floor Therapist! My experience with my Pelvic PT has been wonderful and I take her recommendations seriously!
Sytera Field (Nadi Massage- I have attended 2 of her classes (I think) and along with 2 one-on-one sessions.). I am starting to get to know her. Sytera's help has had a huge impact on me. Her story as a teenager is awe inspiring. Her persistence and strength as a woman driven to better herself overcoming incredible obstacles in the past to becoming the great and successful person that she is today and her Studio reflects those values!
I met Sytera for the first time ~about 4--5 months ago at Vinyasa Flow. She helped me figure out a yoga position. She is really nice and I have enjoyed taking her classes! I am really enjoying my experiences at her studio. I have had nothing but great experiences with the yoga instructors and with the friendliness and knowledge they bring to make classes enjoyable and relaxing.
If you're looking for a great place for yoga, SyteraYoga has really impressed me. The instructors have been warm and willing to teach when they see a student struggling. I don't think you can go wrong in checking out SyteraYoga!

Sytera yoga is a studio where all your yoga needs will be met. The instructors all have their own style but each one brings knowledge, and routines that are great for a vigorous workout to routines that can stretch and relax you. Finding this studio in my neighborhood was the best thing for me. I add a Sytera class or two to my other workout sessions for a perfect balance. I love the Nadi ball classes and the classes by Ali. I recommend checking out this studio!

SyteraYoga has been my go-to place for daily yoga classes since February 2020 and I can't say enough good things about the studio! I was initially attracted to yoga (as a complete newbie) due to a desire to improve my flexibility, strength and balance, and the studio, at the time based in McLean, VA, was recommended to me by a friend. When COVID hit the studio did an impressive job of pivoting to live virtual classes, and yoga became my lifeline throughout 2020 and 2021. SyteraYoga subsequently reopened in a lovely, light-filled, corner studio in Vienna, VA, and although I have occasionally made the trip, as it is a bit far for me, I continue to take the virtual classes -- in fact, the tremendous convenience means that there is zero excuse for me not to have a daily practice! That being said, when I have taken classes in person I have been impressed by the camaraderie amongst the many other students. SyteraYoga offers a wide range of classes, of varying intensities, and has more recently added several with weights, which are wonderful. Classes are led by wonderful, engaged instructors with a variety of approaches, all displaying a strong commitment to, and knowledge of, the practice of yoga. The studio's founder, Sytera Field, has developed a yoga-plus-Thai massage technique via a trio of Nadi Balls that are used to apply gentle pressure to the body during a variety of yoga poses. I am thrilled to have discovered SyteraYoga and am extremely pleased with the quality of classes, the variety, frequency and of course the ability to participate in live, remote classes (the studio even offers videos so I can retake a favorite class for up to three days subsequent, or if I miss a class for which I've registered, I can follow along with the video). I mentioned that flexibility is a big priority for me, but flexibility in how SyteraYoga offers its classes is also a huge plus. Now I just need to move closer to the studio so I can take more classes in-person!

I follow Ali wherever she goes. She made me fall in love with yoga and has such a gift. She works from the heart and her class is special and heartfelt. I will follow her wherever she is and if you don’t know this yet then I dare you to take a class with her. ❤️

Sytera and the teaching team encouragingly challenge us to keep our bodies fit and flexible and our minds relaxed and positive. I appreciate the variety of traditional and Nadi ball classes offered and the flexibility of schedule - in-person, online, and video.

A wonderful yoga studio with highly skilled and enthusiastic staff. Sytera's integration of in-person and online instruction gives great flexibility to take classes at the studio or from home. Classes offered meet the needs of all practice levels. Sytera's original Nadi Ball Method is a great supplement to the yoga techniques. In addition, the studio offers a variety of wellness and other activities that build a sense of community. Highly recommended.
