This is such a wonderful place for kids! The teachers are incredibly sweet and make every class and camp fun and engaging. My child always has a great time here and looks forward to coming back. The camps are so well organized, and the activities keep the kids active and happy all day.

I’m really happy with this gym! I always stay with my son Arta during his classes, and I’ve seen how wonderful the teachers are with the kids.
Ms. Javani was his first teacher, then Ms. Aubrey, and now during practice time we also see Ms. Kiya — they are all amazing!

I want to share a fantastic resource for parents - gymnastics camp at The Little Gym in Falls Church. I really appreciate their camp offerings during school breaks like winter break and holidays like Martin Luther King Day. It's a huge relief to know my daughter is safe and having fun while I'm at work.

She recently attended 3 days of their winter break camp and loved it! We just signed her up to go back for the upcoming MLK Day break.

I also want to give a special shout-out to Miss Avery who is incredibly kind and caring, and always take such good care of my daughter. She’s always smiling and happy to help, even with my sometimes unpredictable work schedule we find ways to make things work. The gym promptly addressed my concerns by contacting me the same day and taking the following steps:

The coach involved is undergoing additional training.
The gym has implemented new protocols to improve supervision and address similar situations in the future.
My daughter has been moved to a class on a different day to avoid any further discomfort.

Original Review - Disturbing Incident and Membership Cancellation

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with a recent incident at The Little Gym of Falls Church. On Friday, November 22nd, during my daughter's class, I witnessed a severe lack of supervision and an unprofessional interaction between a coach and a child.

The coach left a group of five 3-year-olds unattended, a highly irresponsible act that jeopardized the children's safety. When an incident occurred where a child fell, the coach's response was both inappropriate and accusatory. Instead of addressing the situation calmly, they immediately blamed my daughter without conducting a proper investigation. The subsequent handling of the situation was both forceful and disrespectful.

Such behavior is completely unacceptable and goes against the values of a children's gym. I urge the management to take immediate action, including a thorough investigation, retraining of the coach, and stricter supervision protocols.

Due to the severity of the incident and the unprofessional conduct of the coach, I have made the difficult decision to cancel my membership. I cannot entrust my child's safety and well-being to an environment where such negligence and inappropriate behavior are tolerated.

I hope that the management takes this review seriously and takes steps to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

Honestly this place is so disappointing. It’s where you take your kids to get bullied and make very little progress gymnastics wise. I had my daughter in there for a few months and when she moved up to the “big kid” class she started to get bullied and the three teachers in there did nothing to stop it. (One being the lady manager) It got to the point were a boy stepped on a little girls actual face and they didn’t even talk to him. I also asked about why she was making no progress either with the skills and the manager said it’s because the kids have to choose to do the skills. There is no guidance or encouragement to do the skills from the teachers so it’s basically you paying for an over priced extra hour of daycare. Maybe try a different location.

We absolutely loved our time at The Little Gym Falls church, From Lisztgen at the front desk, to our daughter's amazing coach Tysean (Ty). Palmer looked forward to coming to his class every week. He was always kind, energetic and knew every child's name. My daughter would light up whenever she saw Ty, and he always knew just how much to push her into new skills. He is super knowledgeable and truly one of a kind. He is the reason we drove out to Falls Church even though their Arlington location is closer to our home. Ty is such a gem, and I really hope they bring him back, because he truly is the best. Until then, we will be going to their Arlington location (same owner), as it is closer to our home. I still recommend their programming.

We did a trial class and my daughter enjoyed it, but when I went to sign up on the website, there was an additional $50 registration fee. There is NO mention of a registration fee anywhere on the website. I actually almost didn't notice the tacked-on fee because it was added at the very end of the checkout process. Why be so deceptive? Total turnoff; we'll be going elsewhere.

Corrupt ownership. They billed us
$495 for services they were not able to provide. A spring break camp they were not able to deliver and they billed us for April when they were closed and we had cancelled our membership a month earlier.

We have made offers to settle on a Refund at a lower value, and have had no response. This has been going on for 6 months.

I would recommend anyone thinking about going here to avoid it. If they are this corrupt with billing and refunds. Think about what corners they are willing to cut on health and safety.

I have been bringing my daughter to the Little gym for over a year now, and I have found the staff especially Ty and Antonio to be very professional and generous in spirit. They do their best to engage with the kids even when the kids are so young that they may not be ready to 100% follow instructions on everything all the time. It’s a very service oriented business, and I find the service to be very friendly. I would check to see that the classes work for your schedule if you’re interested. While your kids are here, you can do a little grocery shopping at the Safeway or grab a bite to eat right nearby so it’s convenient. I have noticed that since the shopping center has built out, it’s a little bit more difficult to park. During a early evening class, you might have to wait a few minutes to snag a space. The shopping center has filled up all their leases it looks like. The facility itself is well-maintained and in good shape and clean. For the kids dance classes they also seem to loan out shoes which is nice since the kids grow so quickly. They also offer things like parents night out classes were they will take your child and entertain them for several hours while you have hopefully a meal in peace with your spouse for a modest price.

Updating my previous review. We originally enrolled in a Saturday class for our 3 year old but wanted a small class. We switched to an evening class and it was great.

All the teachers I have met are top notch. They are excellent with kids especially the little ones who are easily distracted.

Love Mr. Antonio... I couldn't believe how he was able to hold my daughter's attention and teach her moves, help her with balance and strength, etc. She loves going to class which is great to see.

We thought very hard before joining The Little Gym. It is pricey, but we decided to do it and we are very glad we did. Our 6y/o daughter is loving her "flips" class, and is encouraged, but not pushed. She truly laves the class, and definitely learns skills.

Our 4 y/o son loves his class as well but we had really hesitated to sign him up because he can have a lot of trouble focusing and cooperating, to the point of parental humiliation. The Little Gym has become a place I can take all 3 of my children (2 y/o not enrolled but hangs out while siblings are in class)
