Impressed from the moment we reached out about signing our three year old up for classes. The communication is excellent, the staff and faculty are all incredibly welcoming, and the studio itself is beautiful. The Movement Studios is an incredibly wonderful place to dance! I’ve had my fair share of dance studios, but none compare to the experience i’ve had at TMS. Krista Jennings and Nicole Klett are the two phenomenal studio heads whose passion and love for dance is constantly reflected in the impact that they have on every dancer, parent, and member of the community who they come in contact with. In 2020 I decided to make the move to TMS and enter the world of competition dance. It was a large adjustment, but it became one of the best decisions i’ve ever made. Let alone the amount of growth i’ve seen in myself as a dancer and person since coming to TMS, the family is what makes TMS such a wonderful place! Ever since the first day that I stepped into the studio I've been most often greeted at the door by name and a friendly smile. The versatility of the faculty is amazing and they are some of the most supportive and caring mentors I’ve ever had! There's a large focus on technique, teamwork, and doing things the right way not just the "easy way". I love coming to class every day because the girls never fail to make me laugh and smile! We have lots of fun, we work hard, and we want to see each other succeed. TMS is a great place to dance wether you want to become a professional dancer or just enjoy taking class because dancing at TMS is about learning, growing, and having fun!

We finally decided to make that move to a new studio and we are truly happy. Excellent, hard working teacher who push the students, Intensives, communication just all around a wonderful place to learn and grow. My youngest daughter has been dancing since she was 3 years old and is now 11. We have been a part of The Movement Studios for a year now and I have seen more growth in her this past year than ever. The staff and faculty there are tremendous. They show they care about your child as an artist and as a person which I truly appreciate. I am truly amazed at what they pushed her to do last year and am even more excited to see what they have in store for her this year. If you are looking for teachers with amazing technique, great musicality, creativity, and hearts of gold, The Movement Studios is the place to be. We drive across the bridge from Waldorf to Springfield numerous nights a week for her to take class and the drive, the time....it is all worth it.

My teenage daughter transferred to TMS after having studied at another studio for several years. TMS has challenged her and improved her skill level beyond our imagination. I am very impressed with the way this studio teaches their students (regularly evaluating them and providing feedback on how they can improve). While dancing should obviously be enjoyable, I appreciate that the instructors teach in a fun, yet disciplined environment and that TMS takes pride in all their dancers. After all, the dancers are a reflection of their studio and they make sure that they put their best foot forward 🙂.

Pricing is comparable with other area studios and they offer a variety of dance genres (with compatible instructors for each). Highly recommend TMS! Thank you for helping my daughter see her true potential as a dancer!
