I signed up for the perfect workout the day I got my bone scan results and discovered my osteoporosis had gotten worse. It hasn’t been long enough for me to get another bone scan yet, but the other benefits are amazing. Within two weeks I noticed my strength had increased and opening doors and stuck windows suddenly became easier. I am 57, almost 58, and had spent the summer recovering from foot surgery, so had become quite weak. With only two sessions a week, my daily energy has shot through the roof, and now I don’t have to come home from work and take a nap. My trainers, Simone and Brandon, push me beyond what I think I can do each session and yet are responsive to my changing needs and modify an exercise if if I need it (I have a bad knee and occasional back issues). The 20 minutes fly by and I love being able to say I go to the gym twice a week! I have lost a few inches in my hips without really dieting, although now I am also concentrating on that, too.
