One of the best decisions I made this year was to begin a consistent personal training regimen and to do so at Thesis in Tysons Corners. The gym is extremely well-appointed and has an amazing team of trainers. Clients are treated to one-on-one sessions with incredibly kind and talented trainers. Highly recommended! Have had a great experience with Rob & Thesis. Feels like Thesis trainers focus on efficient results. Working out just 3 days a week and the results are coming faster than when I was working out 5-6 days a week with previous trainer. And the Thesis gym is terrific… the best equipment and because it’s a private, trainer-only gym, there’s never an issue of having to wait for a machine.

I've been training at Thesis for a few months now and it has been a great experience for me. As I get older I really wanted to work on strength training, and the Thesis program has been just what I was looking for. I've been fortunate to work with Taylor, who is very motivational and positive. All the trainers are very friendly and work as a team; they greet you and know your name even if you are not their client. I also appreciate how you can only be in the Thesis gym if you are working with a trainer, so it's not like going to a crowded health club where you end up waiting for the machines. I've never been a big workout guy and don't have a lot of experience with weight training, but I genuinely look forward to my sessions with Taylor and can definitely feel myself getting stronger. Joined Thesis a few months ago and loving it. The one-on-one strength training sessions are the best I have ever had and the nutrition counseling is excellent and personalized. The app also provides an user friendly means to stay in touch with your trainer, review your nutrition plan, and track your workouts with accompanying videos of each workout. The record of of each training session also is useful for when you are away and need to workout on your own.. Thesis also conducts an in depth interview with you before assigning a training, which allows it to understand your goals so they can select a trainer that they believe will best help you to achieve your goals and enjoy the workouts! Emily is an excellent casting director! She paired me with Gabriel and I am excited to get in the gym and let him push to meet and exceed my goals. Best investment in my health I have ever made!!!!

I've been training with Taylor for five weeks, and I’m really happy with the progress so far. I'm lifting more weight than I ever have in my life, and I feel more confident and capable each time I work out. Taylor built a program that fits me perfectly. The workouts are fun, challenging, and never boring, which keeps me motivated.
The food plan she provided is easy to follow and completely adjustable to my preferences. I really appreciate how she takes the time to make sure everything works for me, both in and out of the gym. The space itself is also a huge bonus. The gym is clean, well-equipped, and full of natural light thanks to all the windows.
My 10-year-old son also recently started working out at the gym to build strength for karting, and it’s quickly become one of his favorite things to do. Quentin has been absolutely wonderful with him. He’s patient, encouraging, and knows exactly how to keep things fun and engaging through games and friendly competitions. It’s clear he understands how to work with kids in a way that builds both confidence and strength. My son looks forward to every session and always leaves with a big smile on his face.

Training at Thesis in Tysons has been one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I've had the great fortune to work with both Brandon and Quentin and they're both terrific, but all of the trainers seem dedicated, friendly, and upbeat. The facility is clean, spacious, and extremely appealing. I was concerned when I started because I had not done any meaningful strength training in a very long time. I’ve been training with Jonathan at Thesis for about a month, and as someone constantly burnt out by decision fatigue, the structure has been a game changer. Every workout, meal, supplement, and daily activity target is already planned. All I have to do is show up for the session and stay consistent at home. Thesis has also helped me rebuild confidence in my body after repeated injuries and chronic illness—I’m now safely lifting weights I wouldn’t have even considered attempting on my own.
What really makes the difference, though, is the staff. Rob, Emily, and Quentin always go out of their way to chat, check in, and remember small details from past conversations. That kind of consistent, personal attention makes it easy to trust that they genuinely have your best interest in mind.
The other coaches are just as thoughtful. Even if you haven’t had the opportunity to interact with them as much, they still make a point to say hello—and in my case, help me find whichever machine I left my water bottle at (that day), on the way out. Small things like that make you feel like more than just another client.

I have been training at Thesis for 1 month now. I have a normal BMI and have arrived here with good nutrition habits, and after years of pilates and occasional ballroom dancing lessons. I was seeking the most efficient path to get leaner and build more muscle. I was extremely skeptical because I targeted to go from good to great (which is always hard, but especially for a 49 yr old female who is extremely busy!).
Thesis has been a game changer. How did I not know before that my good habits needed some minor, but extremely precise tweaking to achieve my goals! Enter the program: Eating at a slight caloric deficit at a carefully constructed macro balance, combined with daily steps and a few weight lifting sessions to progressively heavier weights. I thought I would hate tracking my food and feel extremely awkward working out like an elite athlete (which I def am not!). I thought I would get hurt, which won’t happen under close supervision of these awesome trainers. I thought I would be hungry, which is not the case at all after the guidance I received. I remain well fed! I love the early progress and can’t wait to keep rocking it.
Brandon is my main trainer; absolutely wonderful to hang with; attentive, knowledgeable and serious. I also worked out with Quintin and John - both also great. They study my data, ensure continuity and push me to just shy of my boundary. They even pronounce my very difficult name correctly, which I know is petty, but just shows attention.
The facility is gorgeous with brand new equipment, and always clean with tons of room. Parking is super convenient. Good use of tech - my nutrition synchs from myfitnesspal app, steps from Apple watch and weight from a basic Renpho scale at home right into the Thesis app - easy peasy. No matter your age, your experience and goals, these guys got you. It’s a luxury of course, but I have found it to be a great value so far because every one of us is different and customization to individual needs is what sets this place apart.

Really glad I joined Thesis Personal Training of Tysons! I've been in the program for just over 2 months now and the results are undeniable. I was matched with my Trainer Brandon G. and I've been consistently lossing 1% of my body weight per week while adding to my over all muscle mass! Lossing inches off my waist, legs, arms and shoulders, all while getting stronger.
For me it's the accountability, structured full body workout routine, and encouragement from the Thesis Team that make achieving my personal fitness goals a reality. Not only do I get to workout with a great couch, he also gives sound advise on feeding myrself without undoing all our hard work, and monitors how much im staying active on non training days.
I've also had the privilege of working out with a few other in the gym, Benjamin and John. It's nice to experience others approaches to working out and getting results. All in all I believe them to be very dedicated and successful in theor work.

I cannot recommend Thesis Personal Training highly enough, especially my personal trainer, Evan Davis. Thesis offers world-class personal fitness training tailored to each individual client’s needs and desires. They focus on holistic, personal fitness, from flexibility to mobility to strength training to fat loss to nutrition and general conditioning and health. The one-hour sessions are designed to challenge you and to deliver constant improvement, but always with an eye toward avoiding injury, making the experience fun, and meeting each client’s needs.The trainers attend events and follow industry developments to constantly improve their education and your training. The experience is tied together with a handy app that keeps track of your progress and allows constant communication with your trainer, and even offers videos for exercising on your own at home. My personal trainer, Evan Davis, is especially talented, a terrific motivator and an all around great guy (in addition to being a Virginia state champion weight lifter): he listens to clients and tailors training programs based on your goals. He focuses carefully on correct form to teach, maximize benefits and avoid injury. He pushes you to continuously make gains but always in an encouraging and attentive way—you want to perform better. You will perform better. And every Thesis trainer is top notch, having worked with at least six of their trainers during my time there. My first trainer, Sean, is one-in-a-million and now manages the downtown D.C. branch. They have become like family (but not a dysfunctional family). I’m 57 and I have trained at These for 2 1/2 years. I started training with them following surgery that kept me from exercising for one year. Thanks to training at Thesis and making other lifestyle changes prompted by my experience there, my body fat percentage has dropped considerably while my muscle mass has increased to its highest levels. I’m much more flexible and mobile. My sleep and stamina and conditioning have improved. I’m effectively in the best shape of my life. I look forward to my twice-weekly training sessions—and I even train more at home while walking daily. None of that was true before starting my personal training at Thesis; I hope to continue training there for many years to come.

I originally only had six weeks to work with him, yet, it ended up only being four weeks because of timing. The equipment is high-quality, including the Pendulum machine, which has helped me get serious definition in my legs.

When I started at Thesis, I was super intimidated by working out in general. I decided to give training a try after I lost some weight but also lost some muscle mass. I came in with a very specific/functional goal in mind and Ben designed my workouts to help me achieve it.
Not only can I now achieve my goal deadlift weight and lost another almost 15 lbs., but Ben also listens to my evolving goals. He continues to adapt my program, even working around my hectic work schedule. Ben is responsive in the app, motivating, and makes me excited to work out. Brandon at the Tyson's Thesis Personal Training is stellar. 10/10. The team as a whole were prompt, direct, and honorable people. The facilities were clean and the equipment was excellent. The other gym goers were also pleasant and a delight.
I flew into town for an extended work trip two weeks ago after hitting a tree with my shoulder skiing. I did a quick intake, booked 12 sessions, worked with Brandon for 5, my new job didn't work out. The team was kind, polite, and despite the short stint I'm feeling FAR better on my shoulder and generally strong over all.
If I'm ever in the area again I _will_ be seeking out Brandon and the Thesis team.

Thesis in Tysons Corner has been a fantastic place to strength train. I started going after my husband joined their program as a way to improve our fitness together, working out at the same time but with separate trainers. They are supportive, tailoring your strength program to meet your specific goals and also provide a very welcoming and inclusive environment. We have also enjoyed a family friendly, weekend workout with our younger daughter with some light weight and body weight movements. I have been utilizing Thesis at Tysons for personal training for about 6 months. As a senior , I have been impressed with the knowledgable trainers who have worked to meet my goal of improved strength and balance, while taking care to make sure that I avoid injury. They have been flexible and accommodating with my irregular schedule, and I have worked with six of the trainers, all of whom have been attentive and respectful. Quentin, the manager, makes the gym run smoothly, and he is a tough (great) trainer as well.
Most recently I have been working with Vedall, whose experience as a track coach and personal trainer is evident in the planned programs and attention to detail he has used in tailoring my training. Vedall also deftly balances encouragement and support with a push/drive to improve, all with a smile.
Finally, the equipment and physical set-up at Thesis in Tysons are impressive, clean, well maintained, and simply top-notch --with plenty of space for multiple clients in the gym at once.

I have been going to Thesis for a few months now and everything has been great. It has been such a positive experience my wife has started to go and occasionally we even bring our daughter who could not have a better time, Quentin is great with her. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating for different personalities and schedules. I have never had a hard time getting time to work out. OK, so let me begin by saying that I don’t post my reviews, but I feel like here it is necessary. Thesis Tysons corner has changed my life for the better since I started. I finally feel comfortable in my own body again as a type two diabetic I am now fully off my medication with normal numbers for both cholesterol and A1c Even my doctor is impressed. The facilities is amazing my two trainers, Rob and Quinten are family at this point. They really make every session such a pleasant experience. Lauren is such an amazing trainer! I started at Thesis late August after relocating to DC area. To start I was impressed with the website, qualification of trainers and the connection with a local rehab center. I have been really happy with the work I've done with the trainers, especially since I was interested both in rehab for a chronic injury and general strength training. The combination was great. Both main trainers I've worked with are super qualified and experienced. Vedall has been great in carefully paying attention to my injury, which he has previous experience with. The exercises he develops have been appropriate as the injury has improved, gradually ramping up as I can, and I am really hopeful it will be back to normal soon. He has been great also in communicating woth another theraist i work with. Quentin is a real pro. He is diligent in designing the strength routine I have been doing and is in regular communication after sessions. Thesis makes a point about communication about training and Quentin definitely keeps to that. So far, my goals have been met and exceeded amd I'm feeling and looking better. Thanks to the team at Tysons Thesis.

Evan is a professional and intuitive personal trainer. I am limited in what I can lift due to blood cancer and am frequently winded. I've been going to Thesis for about two months now, and cannot say enough positive things about my experience.
As an avid golfer, I went into training with the primary goal of increased hip and shoulder strength and flexibility to increase distance, with body composition and weight loss a secondary goal. I was paired with James as my trainer, and he has been terrific. He is not a golfer, but as a former college athlete he was a quick study on the mechanics of a golf swing and what types of exercises would strike the right balance of achieving my swing goals, and promote overall health and fitness. And, he has been very responsive and communicative as to where and how my training will progress.
In addition to training at the gym, I have an at home lifting routine that I do a couple times a week. Then, I share what other exercises I do (e.g.: 1-2 circuit classes and walking 1-2 rounds of golf/week) so James can integrate that into the training plan.
Diet and nutrition is not overly limited, and I feel free to eat what I want within reason and still achieve calorie deficit goals.
Management is also fantastic, and does a great job communicating. It is clear how invested everyone at Thesis is in each client's unique goals.

I've been training at Thesis for a year and a half now. When you walk in, you are greeted by one or more of the trainers. I train with Quentin, who is extremely educated in weight training, and nutrition..he uses praise, not intimidation, (from what I see, all the trainers are like this). The entire time I am training, Quentin is watching to make sure I am doing things correctly and not causing injuries. My nutrition program is based on my life style, which really makes a difference for me, and you can see your progress with the body analysis machine. The gym is extremely clean, every time I am there, a man is cleaning the entire time. I'm glad I found Ori and Thesis. I think people at any age, and any fitness level will benefit from this gym. When you leave, one or more of the trainers say goodbye..it's just a great atmosphere to train at Thesis.

Thesis, and specifically my trainer Quentin, are like finding a bag of diamonds in a Tysons office park. I was soooo hesitant to commit to driving 30-35 minutes each way 2x a week to train there. One session and it became the easiest thing to do as it was the one thing I would not adjust on my manic schedule. They ARE that good!
Not only is Quentin knowledgeable, kind and driven he is also the best combo of gas and brake. I was recovering from a pretty complicated injury and so some of the workouts at first felt beyond my skill set—I was wrong. He helped me monitor my injury, strengthen my body but also strengthen my mind! The support on nutrition, rest, strength training, recovery and the attention to detail makes Thesis a one-of-a-kind place. I have been working out for two years now (give or take) and I was always afraid to go to the gym being smaller than others. Two years ago I decided it’s to work out, I got myself a personal trainer who didn’t get my body and I ended up a mean shoulder injury and couldn’t train for months. That happened again and again with every trainer I had and got me to a point where I didn’t trust trainers. All of this changed when I started working out at Thesis; their approach for training is unlike I’ve seen before. It’s not about gaining muscle but it’s about a healthy lifestyle. You really see how much they care for you and I cannot give enough praise for my trainer Quentin, he is on a different level! He sees things before I see them and read my mind when I get insecure pushing me forward, and as for my shoulder injury… nonexistent!

Been training at Thesis for over 3 months now when I originally planned to train for a few weeks! The trainers keep you accountable not just for fitness but across all aspects of health and wellness to include diet/nutrition, sleep, recovery, and overall wellbeing. They help identify goals and get you on a plan to actually achieve them. I've actually seen results over the past few months and recommend highly to people of all ages/fitness backgrounds.
