We recently hosted our son's 5th birthday at Yong In Martial Arts and it was an amazing experience. Not only does Grace make the booking process a breeze, Master Michael and Master Angie were INCREDIBLE with the 25+ children who joined to celebrate. The kiddos were engaged and had a blast with the lesson, listening to instructions, breaking boards and playing on the moon bounce. The entire staff made this a birthday party to remember for our son and we could not be more grateful!

We will definitely be back and 100% recommend Yong In for birthday parties!

Yong In has become a special part of our family’s story. Connor spent years here, earning his black belt through after-school classes and summer camps, and now his niece is carrying on the tradition. Master Woo creates such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all the kids, and it’s clear they feel right at home. Seeing Master Woo’s own children involved in the day-to-day operations adds to the sense of community. Watching our kids grow up here has truly been a full-circle experience. Highly recommend!

Unforgettable and Inspiring! From the moment I walked in the door to sign my child up for taekwondo classes and after school care, we were welcomed with warmth, respect, and genuine care. The Woo Family clearly views all those within their charge as family and you instantly feel that. What truly sets them part is their ability to connect with students of all ages from every walk of life. I see them regularly inspire confidence, foster respect and lead by example. As a teacher, I respect that their approach to discipline is developmentally appropriate and they meet each child where they are. Master Angie is a very rude person . She took my son for practice to the room . I caught her harassing and insulting my son front of the other students because my son was not fast enough. Parents please be careful while they take your children to the other room with Master Angie .

I signed my two sons up and couldn’t be happier. This is a family business from S Korea. They are engaging, knowledgeable, and fun. This studio focuses on kids of all ages. Master Michael is great with children. I liked it so much that signed myself up for the adult class. Highly recommend

We have been attending Yong In since August. My son LOVES IT HERE! Yong In has literally become his second home. It is a family setting, the children are loved and taken care of at all times. In the morning, a bus/van takes him to school and they pick him up. My son loves the before/after care- he has made friends, learned problem solving skills and explored his imagination. The classes are incredible. My son is learning, Tae Kwon Do, Korean language, discipline, prided, and his confidence is growing day by day. Every two months they have belt tests. The entire ceremony is wonderful for children to experience. They learn to watch and cheer on others, give their best, listen and have reverence for the customs. I am so blessed that a friend recommended Yong In.

My kids have been attending for a few months now, since before the COVID crisis. They have enjoyed the classes, and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. I was a bit disappointed that there were no alternative options while they were closed (e.g. pre-recorded or virtual lessons). But the school is open again, and they have taken precautions for everyone's safety. The kids are glad to be back and exercising!

I have had my son here for 3 weeks now. At the 3 days a week after school program. He loves it!!! I love being able to watch him. And learn and he was so happy getting new colors on his belt. Cant wait to see what else he gets to learn.
There has only been 2 problems I have had/seen.
The kids run around the place with no structure before class..
And the bathroom/changing room has no private stalls in the boys room (from what my son told me) and there in no lock on the door. So as kids are changing I have seen and heard other kids nit picking on kids in there already changing making inappropriate comments.
I think there definitely needs to be a lock put on the door or an area made where kids can change privately.

Our girls (6-year old twins) love Yong In Martial Arts Academy. As parents, we've see a lot of discipline and learning that comes directly from Master Wu and the rest of the staff.

They are very organized and super helpful and understanding.

I am Master Woo's oldest daughter and I have been here all my life starting from a white belt to a 4th degree black belt. You learn so much, from discipline to cooperation. No matter what belt you are there is still a lot for someone to learn. The kids get along nicely and they know how to respect each other. I love it and others should join to learn taekwondo and make many new friends!
