The owner of this gym has been the hardest person to deal with when signing up he said I could cancel if I got new orders for all the military people out there. Upon getting new orders I’ve tried to reach out to the owner multiple multiple multiple times And he avoids every single phone call to keep my membership going.

The staff is never there.
The owner will not let you cancel your pass at will and will try to file on your credit. Funny thing is if you dispute it you will win. The equipment is out dated. The building is filthy dirty. Not only is this place terrible customer service, they pollute this area by throwing their marketing brochures in everyone’s cars and front door. Also the price is ridiculous and you can get cheaper memberships at much better gyms with updated equipment.

The gym it’s self is ok. Has lots of machines and everything is pretty clean and it’s never busy. But the headache of trying to get in contact with someone and trying to cancel or freeze your membership is impossible. When I signed my contract I was told that I could freeze my membership at any time. I also wasn’t told it is a 2 year contract!! I was told that if I moved out of the area I could cancel/freeze my membership, but when I finally got ahold of someone they ran me in circles and eventually told me I would have to buy out of my contract in order to leave. Absolutely ridiculous! I would not recommend getting a membership here.

The head personal trainer, Paul is AMAZING!! He truly goes above and beyond, and you can tell that he cares about helping you. I'd highly recommend him to anyone trying to get in better shape. Which I had been trying to do for years on my own, so I really needed the help. He taught me a lot I would have never known. Paul helped me lose a good amount of fat in only a few weeks, and I can definitely tell the difference. And flexible hours helps too.. I've worked with him probably everyday of the week and all different hours. I hadn't ever had a personal trainer before, but I'd say he was well worth the investment.

Very small and over crowded with machines. Would be better if machines were arranged in a way that the machines weren't so close to each other that you can smell the person if they are on the machine next to or in front of you. The free weights/dumbbells are not accurate in weight (20 lb weights are actually 22.5 lbs, I've actually went and weighed them bc I could tell a difference and knew I wasn't having an off day). There are no sets of kettle bells, just one size of each. Not good when you're wanting to do lunges or something of the sort and you prefer kettle bells to dumbbells (that aren't accurate in weight) and you want one in each hand, you can't bc again, there's only one of each size. Holes in the walls and stuffed with rags instead of being fixed! Lose your membership card, it's not working all the time, or want to cancel your membership? Good luck with that. No one is ever in the office and they never call you back! For the price and area, one would expect more. Better off going to Planet Fitness. At least someone is actually there if you have questions, it's clean, better organized and no holes in the walls and easy to cancel membership! I'm surprised this place is still open.

I've been coming here for about 5 months working with a trainer (Paul Gatti). He is amazing, he really takes care of his clients. Paul is very easy to work with, he gets to know his clients and can configure a workout that targets what your looking for. He actually takes the time to teach you about all the aspects of the gym, not just working out but all the health benefits of working out. The gym is clean and the equipment is readily available. They are willing to hear new ideas for equipment or something that may benefit the gym. See ya at the gym.

I've been trying to cancel my membership for months now. The owner will not return any of my calls. I've left voicmails, and called and called. No one is ever available to answer the phone, and no one calls me back. It's funny how fast they called me when I was signing up, but now that I'm trying to leave, I can't hear from anyone. Also, my friend tried to cancel half way through the contract, and it was going to cost him almost $400 to do so. I would not recommend signing up to this gym.

Think twice before signing a contract here. I naively let the gym equivalent of a used car salesman pressure me into signing a contract using high-pressure sales tactics ("this is the best deal you'll find" etc) and I immediately regretted it. Now I'm stuck with a 2-year contract with an absolutely D-grade gym. For the price, the place is tiny. While working out, you have the choice of staring at either the hellworld of Fox News or the hellworld of CNN. Really sets the mood. Also, check the other reviews. I regret what awaits me when I try to make sure my contract does not renew.

Total rip off. $40 a month for the smallest gym I’ve ever seen. I’ve been in hotel gyms more impressive than this. With five people in there it’s crowded. Plus it’s contracted and there no way out unless you move out of state or injure yourself. Oh and on top of the $40 a month for a baby gym they also charge an annual “maintenance fee” not worth the money at all. Even planet fitness tops this gym easily.

Had a coupon for two months free, which I never utilized. Went to cancel it before the two months ended, was told I got there after the cutoff time (like 3ish, I got there closer to 4). Thought I was able to cancel it, then left for NY the next morning to say goodbye to my grandma on hospice. Over a year and a half later, with absolutely no communication from the gym, I got a letter from a collection agency. Just one letter, and there has been no further attempt to collect this "debt" for a gym I never even used. This gym and its owner are as shady as could be. Read the reviews and see this is clearly a pattern.

Worst gym I've ever been a member of. My hate grew after the first few times of me going, I tried to get out of it and was given a reduced membership rate. I tried to give it a shot one more time and still was unsatisfied. I can NEVER get ahold of the guy running it. We get charged a late fee monthly only to find out that HE NEVER PROCESSES the payment on time. Our bank and the gym company have been able to confirm this. We have been getting charged an extra $10 each month for lord knows how long and the contract company says that he has been reporting it paid the regular rate. Just Shady!
If I do not receive a call back, after trying to get ahold of someone they will be dealing with another lawsuit.

When I joined this gym I let them know my father was disabled and recently diagnosed with cancer. They assured me that I would be able to cancel if his doctor sent a letter which I did. Needless to say 5 calls and 8 emails later they will not cancel the contact. So unless you want to buy it out for $650+ dollars do not join. I'm quite sure the good reviews they have are from friends and family not REAL customers. Complete run around dealing with this business.

Poor quality, expensive gym. You can tell they don’t clean it often. Also if your hands go on the treadmill While you’re jogging (to catch yourself or slow down) the handlebars give off a little shock. If you have allergies just keep in mind the air vents there are ALWAYS covered in dust. Out dated machines and if it’s busy there isn’t a lot of room to move around so you’ll be constantly bumping into someone who’s trying to work out. the contracts are for a for a year or save yourself a couple bucks and do multiple, but you can’t get out of even if you’re pregnant and unable to work out. Just save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else.

Before Covid, I used a small Anytime Fitness near my home, but they have since closed up shop. Recently I joined Planet Fitness but it was just too much and there are no squat racks for the workouts I like to do. I joined Your Time Fitness last week and love it. It's small but it's got the right free weight equipment for my workouts.

The equipment is old, shabby and outdated. Every time I go there is another piece of equipment with a sign on it. (Out of order) It's kind of dirty. And the $ that does come in goes to fill pockets, not improve the gym. They have a tanning booth that looks like it was time warped right from 1984. The straps inside, that you are supposed to hold on to look like someone wiped their butt with them. That was gross, but true. Suspect they won't be in business much longer if they don't improve.

Your Time Fitness is hands down the best club !!! I love that it's convenient and can fit into anyone's schedule with it being a 24hr gym. It's always super clean and a has a huge variety of the latest and greatest equipment. I feel this club is always thinking of it's members and making sure they have the very best equipment and lots of fitness options with trainers etc. The staff is outstanding too! They really care about their members and help them obtain their fitness goals and are very knowledgeable about nutrition to. If you haven't checked out this club you really should.

Don't join this gym if you ever will want to cancel your membership or even talk to someone who works there. My husband and I had are one month past the date the contract says we would be done with our membership, but we have been attempting to contact them for over a year in order to cancel our membership, having moved out of that area of Chesapeake. Now besides the fact that we would have been able to cancel the membership, having lived far from thus business, we have been charged past the date of service. Okay gym for the price has a good mix of machine and free weights. on the smaller side so can get crowded during peek hours. Sometimes things get broken and they do take a long time (if ever) to get repaired. My grandmother gave me a 100 dollar gift card to this gym. Ryan told me that it was all fine and dandy but needed my credit card info to sign me up as a real member. I said no problem. He proceeded to write out the contract for 2 years. I told him I didn't want two years. I just want the three months. He said he had to do it and all I had to do was come in with my contract before the three months is up and I can easily cancel. Well, three months later and he looks at my contract and says I can't cancel unless I move or have a doctors note saying I physically cannot workout anymore. I shouldn't have signed it. I clearly learned my lesson. BUT I was also told I can freeze my account while I'm in school for as long as I'm actually in school and that hey need a school schedule to prove that. Now Ryan is telling me I can only freeze my account 3 times a year. The guy is pushy too. He'll say whatever to get you to sign. Like I said, I've learned my lesson, but now I'm stuck with a two year contract. The gym is small and incredibly outdated. I do appreciate the convenience of the place and how it is never crowded, but I am convinced that a fair amount of people landed in the position I am in. Check it out before you signup. Ryan is a nice guy..just.. sneaky.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Ryan is a horrible manager and business owner. If I could give this gym ZERO stars I would!! We are trying to cancel and he will not let us. We provided a doctors note like we were asked to by Ryan but when I called to check on the cancelation status Ryan said the letter was not good enough. After further attempts to get out of the contract and no success, we asked Ryan for the corporate number (because he mentioned that cancelations have to go through them). He would NOT give us the number. It has just been a horrible experience and we would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. In fact, we will go out of our way to ensure that everyone we know stays away from this gym!

I have been a member for almost 2 years. It is close to me so I love the convenience but would not recommend anyone to join. I usually don't complain but if you want to hear 150 lb weights dropped at arm level then this gym is for you. I have always been told to not drop the weights but apparently that isn't the case here. Equipment is crammed into a small space and at least 10 years old. Two TV's but only 1 works. The other doesn't have subtitle and the picture is horrible. The cleanliness is minimal at best. The people and staff are nice. There are no comment boxes or a number to get in touch with an owner or I would have contacted them directly.

Worst customer service of all gyms ever created in the world. Myself and my wife went to this gym for convenience. It was ok for the time we were there , however when I was discharged from the military my DD214 and orders to detache in Spokane WA were not enough prove to them that I was getting out and moving across the country. They would not let us break our contract . If you are military which most of Hampton roads are, I would suggest to never sign up with this god foresaken gym.

place is ok, decent amount of work out equipment not all in the greatest shape, some of the cardio equipment is broken but its never really to packed. My biggest issue was customer service was terrible. The guy who works there who i assume is the manager is never in, and never calls back. wouldn't let me remove my roommate from the "family plan" when he deployed so I'm stuck paying for him for a year. also told me i couldn't cancel my membership even when i was willing to pay fees, when i found out i had cancer and lost a lung. Didn't even try to work with me just said "sorry, unless you can't even walk, thats not a reason to cancel". Id highly recommend taking your business else where. For a few dollars more you can get a membership at one life and the customer service there is much better.
