Very bad experiences. For my assessment, the trainer told me she did not set up every right due to the rain. OK~ . Then, for my first class ( 7:30am on Saturday morning), the trainer did not show up without notice. I called and left messages to the manager but did not hear back until late night. I canceled my classes and requested for a full refund. They told me since I did an assessment, they need to charge me $330. Who will do an assessment if you can not start your training?Cannot believe they are running business like this.

The sales/intake process was super low-pressure, transparent, and informative--scientific, even--and working with my trainer (Emily) has been a joy. I feel great after every workout, even though I wasn't in the greatest shape coming in...

Nov, 2021 - Clean facilities, individual training, no waiting for equipment, flexible scheduling, excellent trainers.
Spring 2021 - Back in the studio with no masks while trading if vaccinated.
Great place to train in a semi private studio with a private trainer. Great trainers. With gyms closed in 2020 my training with my trainer continued on line.
The trainers are excellent. The studio is calm and quiet. It feels very personable.

Fitness Together Mercer Island offers a wonderful opportunity to get intense and personalized workouts with friendly knowledgeable trainers who push me to work to my highest capability. I feel better every time I have finished my workout and love the camaraderie with the trainers and the other clients. What a great way to start or finish a day!

Great People. I would never get as good of a workout on my own. Hard work, accountability, and a friendly environment.

I am the first to admit that I have to pay money and have someone giving me orders if I am ever going to exercise and get fit. So it is with both reluctance and determination that I signed up for FT Mercer Island. They make it a positive and good experience.
I really like Bri who is the office manager as well as a trainer. She communicates super quickly with me and adjusts my schedule correctly the first time. She knows me, my trainer and time preferences, about my sprained ankle, etc. I'm not just a client with an email.
As for my preferred trainers, I'm voting for Darius and Gregory. Both cheerfully run me through the paces, sparing me the need to think about it. They eke out extra effort from me.
Plus: free water, the chance to come in at anytime to use their cardio machines, some cute community-building contests, and good cheer.

FT Mercer Island is wonderfully friendly studio and has a motivating atmosphere! My daughter and I have been training there for 4 years and still love it. This was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. At 61 years old I plan on continuing to train as long as my body will allow!! A special thank you to our trainer Bonnie, she is truly inspirational and the best trainer we could ask for!! If you are struggling with your weight or just want to get fit, make an apt or stop by FTMI , you won't regret it!!

Great second location.
I usually work out in the Madison Park location, but for the last couple months I've been coming to Mercer Island for my Saturday workouts (on the weekend with no traffic I can drive here faster than Madison Park).
In this location, I've mostly worked with Ashley and Jim.
I have a history of injuring myself during workouts, and I have a bad back and shoulders.
Jim is very careful with me and still gives me a great workout. He's very good at reading body language and adjusts difficulty appropriately without me even having to ask.
He's also in an 80's cover band and I went to one of his concerts.
When I work out with Ashley, she tends to find my weak points and work on them more. e.g. I'm relatively weak with shoulder presses, and we do walking lunches with twists instead of straight.
Unlike the Madison Park location, you can plug in your ipod/phone into the music system, which is next to the cardio machines.
I'm not a fan of the elliptical machine they have here; the stride length is too short for me.
The space is still open; you can see into both of the training rooms from the entrance.
