one star b/c the steam room and pool are literally health hazards, dangerous. Black mold in the steam room ALL the time, smells like urine often, gross. Pretty sure this place gets cleaned once a week, great place to get staph or any other awesome infection. Pool is just as bad, cleaning needs to be doubled/ tripled in this area, literally risking your health EVERY time you go in here. Its bad enough all the members that come in here to share their latest cold or covid strain with everyone else, the mold and lack of consistent cleaning make it a very dangerous place.

Updated Review: Be Very Cautious before signing up here, canceling is a nightmare—you have to go in person.
When I signed up, I specifically asked for a no-commitment membership and even paid for the top tier to avoid being locked in, I told the staff I was only staying for two months. Now, they’re saying I committed to a 12 months contract and want to charge me $50 to cancel. On top of that, I was hit with additional $66 annual fee—even though I haven’t been a member for a full year.

To cancel, you have to go in person, and it took nearly two weeks just to talk to a manager, who still insisted on the cancellation fee. They make the process extremely difficult.
This place should operate like a gym, not a scam.
Be careful and read the final print—they won’t make anything clear unless it benefits them.

I love this location. It is not too crowded in the early mornings but if you come in the afternoons and evenings it is very crowded. The staff is very friendly. The amenities are nice as well including a steam room, sauna, basketball court, cycling room, and aerobic classroom. I've been coming here for 4 years now and still have no major complaints! If I'm being picky it can get a little dirty at times as the patrons get lazy and throw their trash on the ground.

It’s a kickass gym there’s a variety of equipment and while it does get crowded you can get a great workout with what’s available. Much better experience than planet fitness and I got the yearly membership and it’s been great so far. Cleanliness can use some work and the plate situation at the benches is lackluster. Very disappointing experience. Some Staff members were unprofessional and disrespectful, and there seems to be systematic corruption in the process. Yesterday I called to freeze my account for the next month, and they confirmed it. But today they still charged me the monthly fee. When I called back, the lady's behavior was extremely inappropriate, unprofessional, rude, and unethical. This destroys trust and transparency. Authorities must take action.

Try to get a pass at this location with my husband and the girl (more like a teenager) at the counter had a RUDE attitude.
She said 1 day pass was 90 dollars.

I came to the Kent location last night & the cycle room trash can was overflowing with garbage, trash all over the floor, everyone left tons of weights in there instead of putting them back. There was no paper so I went to look for some & the other paper dispenser was also empty! Had to walk across the gym to find some paper towels. The treadmill machines are weird if I put interval it doesn’t work. It does 3 different speeds and starts my speed at 1.5 every time it’s a new interval. So I have to manually adjust the speed so what’s the point of the interval option. The stair masters also don’t have fans like the issaquah location it’s like the Kent location has cheaper machines or something. This location is bad.

I've been working out at this gym for a few months now, and I can honestly say it's been a game-changer, especially with football season coming up. First off, the place is always super clean, which is a big deal for me. The environment is great too – really positive and motivating. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which makes a huge difference. One of my favorite things is the turf area inside; it's perfect for doing football-specific drills and conditioning. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Zoe, who went above and beyond when I had a billing issue. I had been incorrectly charged an extra $15, and Zoe immediately took the matter seriously. She spoke to her general manager, reached out to other locations to understand the issue, printed out my original contract for reference, and ultimately got me a refund after consulting another manager. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication were truly impressive.

The gym itself is fairly affordable, especially if you're looking for a cheaper annual plan. That said, it’s a high-traffic gym, so it can get pretty crowded during peak hours. You may have to wait for machines, and with the heavy usage, equipment can sometimes be broken or slow to be cleaned. The locker rooms can also get a bit messy or smelly from the high volume of use.

Still, the friendly staff—especially people like Zoe—really elevate the experience. If you're looking for a budget-friendly gym and are okay with occasional crowds and wear-and-tear, 24 Hour Fitness is a great choice.

Been coming here for the past two years almost everyday. All of the workers have recognized my fiance and I because of how frequent we are at the gym. Im a buddy under my finances account was denied access bc I didn't have my ID. The lady at the front desk short, (a little stubby with a pony tail and frizzy hair) immediately gave us attitude when we said we didn't have my ID. We understand this is a new process but the workers know who we are including her who we've had several small talks with on the way in and out. There should be times where you use your customer service skills to analyze when and when not to make exceptions for situations. She clearly did not have those skills that could build or foster relationships with loyal customers. She kept giving us attitude and acting snobby for who knows what just to tell us she couldn't make an exception. So disappointed in her and they way she tried to make us feel.

Feel free to take this tip so she can learn from it instead of letting her emotions control her poor cs skills.

Almost the whole thing that you imagine to be there is different.

Decent gym has a everything you need and want. But they suck at the up keep. I walked out recently and went to planet fitness because both stalls in the bathroom had no tissues and the locker room is filthy. Also the main reason why it's 2 stars is the water fountain. Have been going here for over a year and have repeatedly asked the staff, the company (via their requests for feedback) and other members to help keep the place clean and a place where everyone can do what the place is for, workout and relax (hot tub area). Unfortunately there seems to be a free for all in behavior, in particularly in the pool area, with folks not showering before entering the hot tub, jumping in with their gym clothes, loud and rude conversations yelling across the entire pool, and loud phone use and TikTok watching with the volume on max in the hot tub. Any attempt to try to ask people to respect the facility rules or their fellow gym goers is met with aggressive responses. It’s mostly men who contribute to this behavior and I don’t think this is a good gym/pool for women. Really frustrating that the gym management don’t take any action despite how much feedback is given and it’s clear they don’t really care about maintaining a professional, clean and healthy environment. Looking for alternative gyms. I see 24h fitness say to other reviewers to reach out via their online form but not sure that will lead anywhere considering my experience using this form to date.

Been going to this location since 2019/2020 after they closed the Renton location. I can honestly say the same machines have been broken since then. If the machines aren’t operational they barely work.. give an error code, a few treadmills jerk while on it, most of the stair masters also jerk or feel wobbly. At a certain point it’s just time to replace these machines.

Despite people going to the offered classes (and I don’t mean just a handful.. they were packed) they are constantly canceled for good. When we finally got the spin class back after several years it was temporary. Most recently with Zumba on Saturdays. Look at Redmonds classes: Pilates, HIIT24, RPM, Body Balance, Camp24, etc We don’t get those here.

The employees are friendly and welcoming for the most part. The General Manager just does not care about this location and it shows. But people keep showing up and paying their dues so of course no changes will be made because we keep paying lol

Point is, this location is probably worse than a free community center. Maybe it’s because it’s Kent and people think Kent is the gutter and undeserving of nice things. I don’t know. The responses to reviews are always pointless as well. Why not respond to google reviews and say “we don’t care just keep paying your dues” instead of whatever canned response they come up with.

It would be really nice if they could raise the temperature on the heater, and the water temperature in the men's locker. Showering in lukewarm water, only to come out to a locker room that is cold is really unpleasant. Also, it would be nice if they ever fixed their showers, the maintenance and lack of cleanliness is terrible. What's even worse is that the Tacoma gym is just as bad as this gym. The 24 hour fitness franchise has been really disappointing to me, I've never come across so many consistently dirty, and unmaintained gyms. I'll be switching to LA fitness once my year is up.

It's almost impossible to find 10 or 25 lb. plates here. I really don't get it, are they just getting stolen, or does the gym owner just not care? Plenty of 45 and 35 lb. plates, but if you want to increase the weight by anything less than that, good luck finding the only pair of ten pound plates in this entire gym.

1. They are not open 24 hours. Friday Saturday & Sunday they close at 9:00. The ones who paid for the year just have to deal with it. LA fitness has better hours.
2. Cleanliness; the gym is always dirty and the staff doesn’t do much to maintain or clean. I’ve only seen one staffer who actually does custodial work.
3. The equipment. Out of there 20 treadmills about 6-7 are broken and have been for almost a year.
The Sauna is now broken too and I’d imagine they’re going to take their time in fixing it.
Obviously the front desk staff isn’t responsible for the majority of these problems but the managers along with corporate clearly don’t care about providing a decent environment for its hard working members. I will not be returning after my membership expires.

No biggie, I just used a different one. For the sake of the club and other guests, I pointed the treadmill to the attendee, which happened to be a very young girl. This review is really aimed at the franchise owner and his managers and stakeholders. I'd like to bring to their attention the following:

11/1/2024 -- Men's shower room only has 6/8 showers working. That's a 75% of total capacity of working showers. Not good. -1 star.

The ADA (Americans with disabilities act) shower with a hose designed for it is missing its hose. See photos. -1 star.

Many locker doors in men's locker room are compromised. See photos. They have been broken into or were in the process of being broken into. Some doors show signs of an angle grinder working to defeat the door. Other doors show the claw of a hammer landing on the door to damage it. This isn't a good look! -3 star.

Another location of the same franchise had only 3-4 disk locks used in locker room. The locker room at this location had 12 such locks used. Disk locks are extra cut-resistant. The x3 more disk locks at a location informs us that this location is a lot less secure & the customers know it! -1 star.

Workout floor is dirty. Together with low/poor lighting I get the sense that I'm working out in a prison yard or in "da hood". This is bad for the business' image. -1 star.

Small foam mats are missing. Need these for floor stretches. Only 1 was found available. Please buy more. -1 star.

Please work on the above shortcomings as I'd like to continue to attend. Yet if nothing improves I'll have my membership lapse this year!

i’ve been coming to this gym for a couple weeks now & everything was fine up until today when one of the workers started kicking people out rudely because the power went out which is understandable but he didn’t kick out the people he knew & they still kept working out, it seemed like he had an attitude & a very rude demeanor towards everyone else except his friends. He had also made a little comment towards one of the paying member working out. The other staff there from my experience have been pretty chill & nice except for the one from today. other than that, the gym itself is in okay condition but most machines like the stair master & treadmill are broken and should get fixed. 2 main things that this gym needs to improve on is the customer service & repair the broken machines. Other than that, there are no complaints.

Tripods with cameras everywhere. Tripods with cameras in front of the free weights, in front of the squat machines, in the middle of the turf, even inside of the locker rooms. If I go work out, I do not want to be filmed by random strangers. I especially do not want to be filmed coming out of the shower and while changing just because someone wants to record his progress inside the locker room. You can't even use the bathroom in privacy without someone filming. Tripods and cameras should be banned, especially inside the locker rooms. They are a tripping hazard and an invasion of privacy.

Customer service is non-existent. Gym also is in fact not open 24 hours. Some machines are consistently broken and aren’t fixed until maybe 1-2 months of being inoperative. Your car may get broken into while you’re running on the treadmill but good location for the gym. Also, gym is pretty dirty. They used to have someone clean every 20 minutes but this was prior to Covid. Basketball has a weird floor… don’t know why they didn’t decide to install hardwood like any normal indoor gym. Steam room doesn’t really work but might be because of the people pouring water on the electric heater.

I don’t know, but the customer service at this gym is the worst I have seen. The manager herself is very arrogant and unfriendly. She doesn’t even greet people, and the staff behaves the same way. The staff is generally unfriendly, except for one or two people. They don’t even bother to get up and help when needed. It seems like they have no knowledge about lockers or retail. I wanted to renew my yearly membership, but after experiencing their service, I’m not interested in doing so. On the other hand, the staff at the Redmond location is completely the opposite—super friendly and helpful.

I notice that customer service replies, but I want to know what actions they take to correct the customer service in the club. Don’t even bother replying to me. If your customers matter to you, instead of wasting your time responding to me, do something to improve the staff's service.

FALSE ADVERTISING! Hours of operation are not only constantly changing but the hours of operation they have listed online are a LIE. They will not let you in 30 minutes prior to the time listed online and the door. Change the name or change your hours. The gym is huge but the weightlifting area is tiny and always packed. Dirty, overcrowded, and hot as hell, but has 4 power/weightlifting stations.
Two of three fans over the cardio area are broken, and staff says they don’t intend to repair them because it’s too costly. Ok, fine, so how about some cheaper fans? Nope. They apparently aren’t going to do that, either.
In terms of how dirty the gym is, not only do they not have an ethic of, or availability of cleaner to, have customers wipe down equipment after use, but no staff does it either.
For all this pretense of poverty, this gym is incredibly busy. There are a ton of people here at most of the day.
All that said, the do have an impressive free weight and power rack array, which is why I’m here.

Updated review: we found another gym due to the smell here and all the car break ins. We have documentation that we cancelled in May yet they have continued to charge us the last three months.

Finally in such a soft spoken and well behaved country I found one stupid and rude man on reception who send me back because I was buddy member and I went without main member who is my brother and before this guy I went there twice and asked about 20 times the reception guy (other guy) that do I need to bring anything or my brother need to come every time I come..they said “not required “ and this stupid guy says you can’t go without your brother ..whatever the rules are but the way he replied was disgusting and I felt ashamed of coming to 24 fitness.

Faulty and broken equipment is a common sight. These don’t get repaired. From what I’ve seen these are aren’t repaired at all. A service call is supposed to be made so a repairman can fix these machines but nobody has called them it looks like. After my local LA fitness closed I came back to 24 as I liked the hours. However I’m disappointed that the weekends are not 24 hours and it always seems like no matter what time of the day it’s always so busy.

I signed up online for the free 3-day trial at this location and did not get to use it. Instead, Jordon tried to push me into signing up immediately. He also told me that because I hadn't used a gym before I would have to sign up for a personal trainer before I used their equipment, or I would hurt myself. If I had been informed of this, I wouldn't have made the drive in the first place. This has been a complete waste of time, and now I have to start over and look for another gym.

Pretty disappointed about the updated schedule starting April 1. They are changing the hours
Monday to 10pm Tuesday-Thursday 24 hour and Friday-Sunday to 9pm. I only work out at night so this schedule doesn’t work for me and many other gym members. The gym is full even at midnight so it’s ridiculous they are doing this. The general manager needs to adjust the schedules to keep it open 24 hours!

The gym is also disgusting there is always mold everywhere, trash all over the floors, toilets not cleaned, constantly running out of spray or paper towels, sauna is broken every other week. Look at the water fountain in the pool you’ll see what I mean. But it is the closest 24 hour to me so I don’t have any other choice when I payed a year up front for this gym.

Where to start.. well, the sauna was out of order for a month. That was nice, as I like to use it daily and thought that's part of what I was paying for. Machines and equipment most definitely do not get fixed quickly (there are things there right now that have been broken for MONTHS) specifically, the cables. One of the two standalone cable machines has been broken for *months. The main cable tower- broken for months as well. Leg sled/press, (with a pin and weight stack/cable system) - broken. Why would you not either keep on hand cables or pulleys? Or- simply order them as soon as they break and fix them??? (FYSA, owners/management- and I almost thought of doing this for you on my own so I can use them again, you can buy these on Ebay or Amazon, and fix them in a couple of days at the most) I used to own an Anytime Fitness in socal and when things broke, I would order the parts and fix them asap if I did not already have the parts on hand. There are also vendors available 24/7 who will come on-site and fix things literally around the clock. Also- if you plan to visit the gym during the hours of darkness? You run a VERY, VERY high likelihood of having your car being broken into. Literally every morning I get there, there is a new puddle of fresh car window glass from this. Every single other business nearby (safeway, 711, both within a few hundred feet of this location) have paid for the blue light security cameras to be on-site in their parking lots. If this 24hr cared at all about their paying members, they would also provide this. The worst, absolutely worst, is broken out of service equipment for months on-end. I only workout here and maintain a membership because I live so close. There is absolutely no other reason. If you do not live within a few minutes- I highly recommend going elsewhere.

The gym has been trending downwards for the past year. Every other day there is a puddle of glass in the parking lot from a break-in. They are literally the only business that doesn't have the blue light tower cameras in the parking lot to help deter the thieves, which indicates they don't care to pay for one. It seems like the machines are always broken, especially the cables, every time I walk into the gym. Either one or both are broken. Not to mention, I am spending $300 a year just for the machines. To top it off, the basketball court closes at 11 pm, even though it's advertised as a '24-hour' gym. Many improvements can be made that are fairly easy to do. I don't want to spend $300, or even just $25 a month, for a gym that closes its court at 11 pm, despite being advertised as a 24-hour gym.

In conclusion, false advertising and VERY dirty spaces are major issues. Also, an employee of African American race, slim build, with a hat, was VERY unprofessional and rude. He didn't give people in the basketball court ANY warning to leave when it was time, and instead of letting everyone know, he TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS, which could've ended up badly for the players because they couldn't see what was going on. He didn't turn on the lights for another minute or so. I, for one, almost tripped on a ball and got hit in the head by another ball. Meanwhile, my buddy crashed into someone on the court. No matter the situation, turning off the lights is a very dangerous act, and the company got lucky that no one got seriously hurt.

I hate to see incompetent people working when they shouldn't be. Please take disciplinary action against that young man because that was VERY uncalled for. I rest my case that this gym is a failure based on what I've seen and experienced for myself: incompetent employees, dirty spaces, constant broken machines, false advertisements regarding the 24-hour court, and an overall trashy environment.

I am new to this club and paid for annual membership and my whole entire family did including my dad, brother, husband.
Recently, I requested for a letter for work stating that I am a member of this Club for work related wellness-reimbursement.
The front desk person tried to help but the manager named Ashely Perrin was exteremly rude and said "NO we don't write letters and that's it ". She was in rush to end the converstation without explaning or even trying to help in any other ways. I am exteremly disappointed with this service. Been coming to the Kent location for about 1.5 years now and it’s really disappointing. Half the time the paper towels and sanitizing sprays are empty. Trash overflowing. Equipment will stay broken weeks or months at a time. The women’s locker room is always dirty (have seen vomit on the sinks and trash cans multiple times), no toilet paper, and I’ve noticed mold in the women’s showers. People will run on the treadmills without shoes on, or work out BAREFOOT on the stretching mats and not wipe them down after they’re done and the workers don't notice or do anything about it. Place is extremely dirty. Almost all stair maters are broken and the 4/10 that are functioning are semi working they feel like they are on the verge of breaking. Mind you I’ve noticed these broken machines for a little over a year now.. nothing has been replaced or fixed they just slap a ‘temporarily outta service’ label on it.
