I typically go to anytime fitness in Pitt Meadows,BC. I am a summer resident here in Birch Bay and love that I can come workout with my same membership. This gym is always very clean, with lots of space to workout. I like that there is space between machines so that you don’t feel that you are on top of people while working out. The staff is always very friendly as well!

This gym is really great! Very happy with it so far. It has plenty of good quality equipment and enough of the smaller items/accessories to where you never have to fight over it with someone else. The only equipment I’ve ever had to wait for is the abductor/adductor machine, but that’s just a popular one in every gym. The gym is spacious, clean, well-ventilated, and I like the way it’s divided into separate sections by workout type. There are three bathrooms, some with showers, great amenities for a seamless workout experience. I would 100% recommend this gym to anyone who is serious about their fitness👌

I really enjoy this gym, it’s always relaxed and feels comforting to go. In other gyms I normally feel very embarrassed or like I don’t fit in but I think the fun atmosphere with the games and questionnaires as well as the welcomingness of the entire place feels genuine and not like a marketing scheme. I feel the manager at the birch bay square location is a big contribution to these facts.

Had a membership for 2 months. Notified them that I was updating my payment method. Didn't hear for them for 3 months until they sent me a $1,400 bill through a collections company. They did not call or email me to notify me of any of this, yet they lie about it to cover for their poor management. I watched a member come in with a payment complaint and a staff member apologised, admitted to their mistake, called the owner/another staff member to confirm said mistake then called billing to resolve the issue for the member but instead got off the phone and told him that Anytime fitness is under no legal obligation to admit their mistake and fix the billing issue.

I dont know how they sleep at night. I have since ended my membership. The owner is a real peice of work.

Best gym in the area for sure. New ownership has already made his mark by installing new pieces of equipment. As a treadmill runner I'm very thankful for the new treadmill belts. It's been my gym for at least 3 years now. Great place, amazing staff, quality members, etc. They have a great variety of unique equipment and well balanced in terms of weights, machines, etc. vs. cardio.

The staff is really helpful and friendly, and the machines are usually clean and well kept. My only complaint is the price. The membership price (and 1 or 2 year contracts) are incredibly expensive.
