It's a local gym in a small-town strip mall, so don't expect Equinox. Decent machines, (older, but clean and good selection) deadlift platform with full squat rack, dumbbells to 100#. Staff was pleasant in my limited interactions.

I mean, it's a gym in shelton the other option you have is the YMCA with a bunch of kids everywhere, I don't think I'll be back to this place I didn't like that there's no HVAC or ceiling fans meaning it's stuffy and hot, since I work for shelton I didn't like how there wasn't lockers, im pretty sure everyone knows the crime that happens in the county? Definitely needs an upgrade in there.

UPDATE: YMCA IS MORE AFFORDABLE AND HAS NEWER MACHINES WITH FANS!!!
Only 2 fans in the whole place! Stretching/yoga room had both, AND DOORS OPEN(safety issue) and would not share even 1 fan with cardio area (ellipticals) had to wait till they finished and they had coolest area of gym with all doors in area propped open! NEED MORE FANS especially as cardio equipment does NOT have built in fans. As a disabled person with medical issues FANS are Important! Also in response to weird beard review- as a disabled person the bathroom TP is almost impossible to use, he is right!

This gym is 1000 degrees except for the group fitness room. There’s no locker room just open cubbies, and class schedule is beyond inconvenient. Staff are super nice though and you have everything you need. Decent amount of parking since small crowds.

Everyone is friendly I’ve worked out here since 2019, I’ve worked out at the gyms in this location and found a home at anytime. The new management is great we’ve updated some equipment and have more staff.

This place is a 10 out of 10. The staff is friendly and energetic, the equipment and gym are well maintained, and the community is welcoming and inclusive. If you want a gym that comes with fun, energy and comradery, I highly recommend this anytime fitness.

I’ve tried a few gyms in the area and found Anytime Fitness works best with what I’m looking for. I don’t have a set workout schedule and their 24/7 availability was HUGE for me. This place has a welcome feel, and didn’t have that typical gym judgment vibe. Good crowd, never too busy. Great place.

Good equipment. Friendly staff, still able to get in a solid workout even though it is a pretty small space.
I’m used to to planet fitness prices so the cost is a bit much for me to adjust to.
It’s a small town so this gym is very convenient for ppl like me that don’t want to drive 30 min or more to planet fitness.
Only thing that would make it better is if it had a sauna! Happily give it 4 stars.

Small, in a strip mall with limited parking. No privacy, the open window front allows passerbys to see you working out. No pool or hot tub, it is open 24 hours, however the other Athletic Club in Shelton is also open 24 hours, is nicely remodeled, frequently adds new equipment, offers a pool, and many more amenities, including a large dedicated parking lot and personal training, and many classes. I would not chose Anytime Fitness for myself, as there is a better option in Shelton.
