This was my primary gym about 3 years ago. I've recently moved back to Tumwater. It's quite a shame what they've let this place become. All the equipment has a sticky residue or vinyl tape to cover holes. Their isn't a single wall in here without a hole or scratch. Equipment is all over the place the people here don't ever wipe equipment off....the staff don't wear any sort of uniform.... Nothing.
Cleanliness is low and the drive to do good as employees or a business is very low. Which is directly related to the owners and the level of standards being held....it's sad here now

This gym has excellent fitness equipment extremely convenient parking lots of room for what ever level of a gym goer you are!

Private bathrooms was a surprise for me but I dig it!

As a local in this community Iv been to many gyms around the area anytime is by far my favorite gym Iv ever been a part of!

Very cool very clean very nice staff! They have a cool app you can download and keep track of your fitness which I like a lot!

Having a gym membership does wonders for my mental and physical well being!

Even if you don’t lift crazy weights this gym is a vibe!

If you are looking for a good gym as a local of this community I highly recommend you check this one out!!

This place is not good. Its way too hot. Trying to cut cost I take it, by cheaping out on real air conditioning. Also older equipment. Ellipticals are poor quality. Staff not very helpful. Ask them any questions and you are just bothering them. After a week trial did not join.

Anytime Fitness in Tumwater is hands down one of the best gyms I've been to, i have been attending the gym for the past 4 years! I have been coming to this gym for about a year now, it has been a positive experience thus far. The office staff is kind and willing to help with any questions and concerns. I trained with the most amazing trainer for a couple of months and saw progress quickly and felt better overall about my fitness journey while training with him. It is typically not too busy so you can use most of the equipment without having to wait long which is nice, it is also well kept and clean. I would recommend this gym to anyone wishing to start their fitness journey :)

Anytime Fitness in Tumwater, Washington is my home gym. This location offers a larger variety of equipment than most other Anytime locations and is spread out over 4 large rooms, is well maintained, clean, well lit and has private bathrooms with showers. I have met some great people along the way here.
They also have active classes each month you can join, as well as access to personal trainers to help get you started in the right direction, and take any worry out of getting to know the equipment, and lets face it, as a new gym memeber getting to know the equipment can be challenging at first, it was for me, but the staff here will get you feeling confident as a pro in no time!

I travel extensisvley every month on business and it is always a nice feeling coming back home to work out the planes, trains and automobiles and the stress that comes with my work. I can not say enough about this location, and I highly recommend if you are in the area, or considering a memebership, I can say you wont be disappointed! The staff is incredible.

On a different note, I started my fitness journey with a memebership back in 2019. Over the course of these past 5 years with the help and convenience to Anytime Fitness locations this has been instrumental in tunring my goals into realities.

Tumwater Anytime Fitness is the place to BE. They have the friendliest staff and the friendliest members. Everyone is there to get better and the staff are there to support them as well. I started going in August of 2022 and while I’ve had to take some breaks for school sports, I’ve always enjoyed my time coming here. Their bathrooms are kept clean and it’s the only place outside of my house I feel comfortable showering. If that isn’t enough, this gym comes up with fun challenges that yields rewards such as a free month of membership. I highly recommend!

This gym is the first gym I ever really signed up for and dedicated time to. The facility is clean, there is various equipment, and the staff are super friendly. They take that extra step in making sure you are comfortable, and armed with knowledge on how to improve yourself, whether it be just your overall fitness or a specific goal you're trying to attain.

This is by far the biggest rip off gym I have ever experienced. I was charged 3 separate times in one month for a total of 141.00. I called to talk with them, nobody answered and I could not leave a voice message. The following day I received a phone call about payment. I spoke with the manager about the 3 charges, that nobody called me once, I did not authorize a 72.00 charge and a 44.00 charge. I did authorize the 25.00 one which comes out around the first and end of the month. The manager tells me that there is a 20 dollar fee each time they attempt to pull the money out and can't and that is the reason why. Once again nobody once called to notify me, etc.. My membership ends in a month and a half. I canceled my credit card so they cannot continue to have free rein on charging and doing as they please. The manager was attempting to argue with me and was not helpful with any type of solution. I see this small gym as being all about taking as much money as they can. And if you want to cancel your membership it's 200 dollars. Which after paying 141.00 for month would have been worth canceling a few months after I signed up for the gym. The gym is very small and they will take advantage of your money any chance they can get. I am going to file a complaint to the better business bureau and possibly a court motion, just bases on the principle of taking advantage of people when they get the opportunity.

I called and asked about the steps to either re freezing an account or cancelling a membership. All i was told to do was email or come in to the gym to do so. So i emailed the club and the next day they had responded with all of these fees i was going to have to pay and that there was a 30 day cancellation notice. I was not informed of this when i called and pretty taken back. Typical corporate business though trying to get every penny they can out of people.

The worst part was the back and forth emails that was exchanged. The staff became very unprofessional and rude very quickly after being called out on their mistake by not explaining their policies. They jumped to the old “it was in the contract you signed years ago” line. Like anyone ever remembers the specifics in those. Good business would be to kindly remind someone of said policy when cancelling but what do i know! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone as they are just clearly about protecting themselves and taking in as much money as they can. If i could give a negative star review i would 😄

I did not call to ask about coming back or what to pay off. I called and asked if my membership was still active or not. I called back a second time to ask if the other two memberships were still frozen. I then proceeded to ask the steps to either re freeze them OR cancel. All i was told was to either come into the club or email the club. At this point, good business practice would be to remind the customer of said cancellation policy of 30 days. No one is ever going to remember these details trust me. I have worked at gyms and worked in HR for a very long time and have alot of experience with contract language. It is always in the customers best interest to be upfront about these details so they are not blindsided like we were about extra fees and charges

Also, our auto pay was messed up many times and fees were not drafted due to your error. Say what you will, but i came in countless times to fix these and this is why late fees were refunded. Personally attacking us or mentioning financial information on these reviews is not a good loom either for your business just fyi. I know its always upsetting when youre called out on the misinformation you provided, but a manager should step in and rectify a situation and ask how to make it better. Not provoke it by doing what youre doing. I hope anyone who reads this sees what unprofessionalism you are displaying here.

Great 24 hour Gym. I picked Anytime Fittness initially because I could workout in the off hours and it’s pretty well equipped. With the new year I’ve started working with a personal trainer(Roni) and he’s coached me past a nagging knee issue I’ve been having for a couple of years and into the basics of strength training and conditioning. I joined Anytime fitness after the Covid shutdown of 24 hour fitness. Tim and Stephanie are wonderful and the staff is second to none. Always friendly and smiling! “Theresa” is a rock star too. So positive and motivating. I have never met a personal trainer like “Emily.” So knowledgeable and she pushes her clients to be become better. I called in simply to ask if they sell day passes because my normal gym was gonna be closed for a week. I was well aware of their 7 day free trial pass, but I honestly wasn't looking for a gym membership. Furthermore, I had already used it the last time my gym closed. I explained all of this to Trish and she said just to come in and use a 7 day pass. I've been to gyms where they didn't seem interested in giving out a free trial pass if they felt like you weren't coming back after it expired. The fact that this gym was willing to help me out and keep me going says a lot about the company and the people working there. They have a lot of good equipment and they keep the place clean and tidy.

Very convenient and has a decent spread of equipment. The Wifi never works and is more of a fitness center then a grunt push gym. I prefer the latter so it's a bit weird at times, overall it not to bad.

Clean, staff is friendly and well maintained equipment. Everything I need at reasonable prices. It's the private bathrooms with showers though make it the best around.

This is one of my favorite anytime fitness facilities I've been to. It's well equipped, well organized, well maintained. Staff are pleasant and the classes are top shelf. Riley is the best trainer!
