After having hip replacement surgery I found this chair yoga class that’s helped immensely. A lot of what Mina teaches us is what my physical therapist was having me do to stretch and strengthen. Highly recommend!

I enjoy the experience of chair yoga. Although it is only once a week I have learned to live life more slowly and mindfully. This makes my week much more fullfilling.

Arise Yoga is an amazing studio for students of all levels.I learn so much from Mina as a beginner.. The intentionality in which she sets up her space and cares for each person individually is remarkable. It is a great local business to support in Issaquah!

Mina’s classes are made in a logic, progressive and complete way. We work on breathe, gentle and challenging postures, combined with meditation.
These classes bring me relief of the daily tensions, and make me blooming in the postures I already practice.
I like the fact that each session is different and individualized in this cosy place and small kind group. Thank you very much Mina!

Mina is fantastic. I always look forward to a Yoga Class. She offers so many different options to get into a pose and helps focus on your needs that day. The classes are intimate and the setting is beautiful. Really helps you focus and get the most out of your time there.

Classes are small and have a good vibe. Mina is an excellent yoga instructor. I like that she offers alternative poses for those of us that are novice but also those that are experienced. I was pretty green when I took my first class and now I go every week. The classes move at a good, consistent speed. It’s a clean comfortable studio with a great location in downtown Issaquah.

Arise Yoga and Wellness is a rare gem of a yoga studio. The classes are very small. Mina's practice is emphasizes breathing, affirmation, and balance. It is clear that all are welcome and I can see how she subtly adapts each class to the needs of the individual students. Each class, I arrive stressed and achy from my work day and leave with a sense of balance I rarely otherwise experience. I highly recommend this studio for all levels of students.

I found this place when I was looking for a yoga studio that has a walkable distance from my house and offers yoga classes after working hours, and I’m so glad that I found it. I’m a yoga beginner and the classes are for all levels. I don’t have any difficulties in following the yoga tutor, Mina. She’s a very nice lady. She’s helpful and knowledgeable about yoga. Classes are small (6 ppl at most) - No matter how many people are in a class, Mina treat it seriously, and would customize the content based on body flexibility. After going here for a few classes, I can feel the change in my body. The house/room is also pretty cozy and well setup. I enjoy my classes with Mina and would recommend it to everyone who wants to give it a try.

I’ve really enjoyed my experience at the studio so far. Mina is so kind and attentive, which makes a novice like me feel at ease. She will listen to input from the group and use that to guide what is focused on for that session. Everything is done with intentionality. Looking forward to my next class!

Mina’s classes are designed to move at a gentle, peaceful pace in a serene environment. She has a tender and soothing nature. I particularly appreciate that she emphasizes mind as much as body through breathing techniques, readings, relaxation and meditation to engage the parasympathetic nervous system. If you are looking to alleviate stress and connect to your inner self, this is the studio for you.
