Awesome instructors, awesome community. I started yoga a year ago and have done nearly every type of class that Aya offers and love them all. I knew absolutely nothing when I started, but I've learned so much from the instructors who don't just lead the sessions, but are also there to help you learn, no matter the class size

I love being a member of this community. Not only are the fitness class offerings excellent, but the pop up classes are fun to watch out for, the teachers know your name and care about what you're going through, and finally the whole center seems to embody yoga. Like the mindfulness, restorative, emphasis on breathing, and yeah, the yoga poses. It really feels like an "oasis" of wellness through yoga.

Iβve been going here for over a year and I love it. The teachers are all so nice, and thereβs a variety of class types so I can always find something that works for me. I also love this studio because the classes are less focused on βgetting fitβ and more in line with feeling connected to yourself and meditation.

Today I returned to this lovely intimate boutique yoga studio! Love their thoughtful sequencing and magic use of blocks.
I really appreciate their commitment to less waste and their inclusivity (e.g. who gives a crap TP , tampons, wholesome ingredient spay deodorant and restroom signs). Their lobby is so pretty and inviting

I am new to the area and took advantage of the new client special at Aya Yoga Oasis. I have taken a number of classes there already in this first week and have been pleased with both facility and instruction. The Pilates class with Kristen was excellent. Plus there is not a better way of start the early morning.
The Fire class with Nicole was also outstanding. Nicole took note of my special request for working on specific areas. The exercises in both classes did a lot to work on strengthening and stretching tight glute muscles, a result of a long ago injury from running marathons.
Thank you Kristen and Nicole, I am looking forward to classes with other instructors at Aya Yoga.

Wonderful peaceful oasis to practice yoga and take strengthening classes! A nice space to escape the chaos and drama all around us.
Variety of teachers and styles. Kate provides a deeply connected class style including some use of sound bowls to transcend your focus. A comforting opportunity to ground and look inward.
Not a heavy overall emphasis on technical skills compared to some studios. All classes accessible to all.

Aya Yoga is a wonderfully welcoming yoga studio with incredible instructors. Itβs an inclusive community practice that is non-performative with a variety of classes for all levels. I appreciate the smaller studio setting as well. It is a gem for those just starting out or those whoβve been practicing for years.

In addition to enjoying the yoga classes, I love to shop the adorable items for sale. They have such unique and beautiful things. I recently purchased this little incense holder along with a necklace and really love them. I have so much gratitude for being able to visit this special place and take small reminders home.

Megan is simply THE BEST !
Her classes provide a full body workout at a great pace.
She is always trying new moves yet she keeps them to the WATER level. (No fear of any surprise FIRE moves.)
I wonβt miss either of her classes when Iβm in town.

Without a doubt 5 stars for Aya Yoga Oasis. I've practiced all over the Seattle area and this studio embodies everything you want in a studio. There are varying levels of classes and each teacher brings their own flare and style. Although I enjoy the classes itβs the sense to community that keeps me going to Aya. I would highly recommend this studio to ALL people and bodies. This is the first studio that feels like home and where I can truly "practice" in my own body and breath.

This place is amazing. I'm new to Yoga and have been attending classes here regularly for around 4 months. As a first-time yoga practitioner I find yoga studios to be intimidating, but not Aya Yoga Oasis. Carrie and her team of talented instructors make me feel so welcomed and looked after. Their classes are challenging, but not too challenging too deter me from coming more regularly. Their variety of classes and overall infusion of spirituality into their practices keep me interested and always wanting to come back again.

They discriminate against people and this is not right. It is alienating and bad for the mental health of the victim of the discrimination. For this I can not support this business because it goes against yoga principles of inclusion.

I've been a member at Aya since it first opened. So much about living during a pandemic caused me to take many months off from yoga classes and my personal yoga practice. With the announcement of in-studio classes resuming with above and beyond Phase Two precautions being met, I decided it was time to head back into Aya. With 3 kids and a partner all home all the time, streaming and/or video classes just don't work for me. I was extremely nervous about participating in an indoor, public activity so I reached out to the owner, Carrie. Her response was understanding, caring, and reassuring, so I took the plunge! The studio has always been kept immaculate, even pre-Covid, but Carrie and her husband Steve have gone to great lengths to do everything within their control to keep their instructors and students healthy. Class sizes are limited to far less than the 25% capacity required in phase 2 (only 6 students per class!), they keep doors open (don't worry, the heat works well!) for ventilation, they've brought in new air purifiers, and masks are required for everyone.
Of course, it still felt strange coming into an indoor, public space after nearly a year of avoiding this kind of thing, but it is clear that Carrie and Steve understand the importance of distancing, masking, and ventilating to keep folks healthy.
As for the yoga itself, Aya is a place that will meet you where you are. Instructors understand pandemic life has taken a toll on our physical activity and there is zero judgement. I am not even close to being in the physical (not to mention mental/spiritual) shape I was in a year ago and I feel cared for as I take the scary step into practicing yoga again.

The 2 studios and adjoining rooms are beautiful and welcoming. There's a great range of classes on offer, from fiery heated vinyasa flows to ethereal meditative options to fluid unheated practice. The owner, Carrie, has a great vision for making this a true oasis where members and guests can practice, relax, and find a moment's (or several hours') worth of peace in a soothing space and accepting community. I love the inclusion of complimentary tea in the sitting area which encourages me to stick around as I reawaken after savasana and mingle with fellow yogis. There's even a reading room and lending library upstairs, stocked with books on wide-ranging topics that members can enjoy there, or borrow and take home for a bit!
Side note! If I had a layover at SeaTac, I'd certainly consider taking a Lyft over to Burien (it's just 10 mins from the airport!) to squeeze in a class or even some self-guided open studio time between flights. Bonus: there's some real tasty restaurants within walking distance of the studio to grab a bite after a class, or pick up take-out to take back to the terminal while waiting to board.

Aya's owner, Carrie, has been my primary yoga instructor for several years now. Her collaborative personal way of leading a yoga class, as well as her passion for community and total inclusion is awesome. Her beautiful new studio has now opened and I highly recommend that you become a member, as Aya Yoga Oasis is absolutely proving to be a wonderful place to practice yoga, meditate, and be part of a wonderful community!
