Amazing place, very hard to find a place not too warm and with very skilled teachers, this place nailed it, it has magical atmosphere and you can deepen your practice there.
The stuff and the people coming to this place are also very nice.

Great variety of classes, good new student offer, one of the best places in the east side.

I'm fairly new to Balance, but my experience so far has left me satisfied. The classes aren't very crowded and the class schedule isn't repetitive so I get a chance to try different things during the time that I can make it. The instructors are great; they are helpful and kind and leave me feel relaxed and stronger every time I go.

I absolutely love this place! I am a shy person who sometimes has a hard time going into places such as this, but I felt so welcomed by the staff, it was a no-brainier to continue my yoga practice through the Balance Yoga Studio in Woodinville. I have been attending for about 3 months now. I wish I could go every day but I live in Monroe so it can be a bit of a challenge getting up that way some weeks! It is totally worth the drive and I have already noticed growth in my practice and am excited to further this in the months/years to come!

I searched all over Seattle and the Eastside for a YEAR to find a home yoga studio after we moved to the state in 2013. I am so glad I found Balance; the classes are inspired and unique. The vinyasa classes will challenge you physically (but leave plenty of room for modification), and the yin classes are a beautiful time to focus inward. The fusion classes are a time to have fun and see what you are capable of. I am NOT a fan of preprogrammed flow sequences, and the classes at Balance always keep me guessing - which helps my mind to stay engaged. Also, it is one of the few studios on the eastside that is NOT hot. For those of you looking for a challenging, individualized, authentic practice - Balance is the place for you.

I am fairly new to yoga and usually the type of person who feels shy about group fitness but this place is great! I have tried a variety of their different yoga classes and they have all been excellent. The instructors are friendly and helpful and offer modifications to suit all levels. I find the room very relaxing and have been loving my time there. I am going 3 times a week and am hooked. I would highly recommend Balance Yoga.

This is my favorite Yoga studio I have been to in Washington - two important things that make this studio unique are the class offerings and the nice, room temperature. I prefer more traditional hatha and vinyasa yoga, which appears to be difficult to find - there is an overabundance of bikram/hot yoga studios, and yoga that is more like exercising at a gym than doing yoga...This studio does a great job of emphasizing the body, mind, breathing, strength, balance, relaxation...all my favorite parts of yoga! I also appreciate that each instructor has their own style, and their classes have lots of variety with poses. The studio is also very clean, smells nice, has great lighting and soothing colors....all which contribute to the nice atmosphere! Class sizes are reasonable (not over-packed) and people are respectful. I can't wait for my next class!

When I had to move to a new state, one of the things I was most upset about was losing this yoga studio. The instructors are wonderful, patient, and very friendly! I enjoyed every class I took there, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great yoga studio!

This has been a great experience for me. The teachers are highly trained, and seem professional. Some students are also very highly trained. It was not my best phase, but Balance has made it all the more positively memorable. Great for improving stretching, and very exciting to have learned about their free 30-day joining opportunity (trial period), which means it's absolutely free for 30 days. Vinyasa Flow was one of their best and most popular classes.

Balance Yoga Studio offers a great yoga experience. The studio is clean, and they provide many props that might be needed during class. The staff and teachers are friendly. I felt relaxed and more able to focus inward during the classes I attended, and the teachers offer multiple options for some poses which was nice. I'd recommend this studio to anyone living nearby.

Ever since I moved away from Woodinville I have dearly missed Balance Yoga! Every class was awesome and the instructors are knowledgable and friendly. Even when I went into a class with an instructor I wasn't so sure about at first, they put you through a great workout and are very nice people. They have a great variation of beginner/relaxing classes to more extreme Vinyasa if you want to sweat. I bought the 99 classes for 99$ over the summer and certainly did not regret it. Great time slots that go all day too. Wish I could find someone as convenient as them in Bellingham.

I returned to yoga in September after many years of trying other things. My experience at Balance Yoga has been extremely supportive and encouraging, but also challenging enough that I'm making great progress. There are many different levels of classes, and the class schedule has enough options that I can always find at least 2 classes a week that fit my schedule. So happy I found this studio, I feel better than I have in years!

This is my first yoga experience, and I am surprised by just how much I like it! I generally am not a fan of the gym experience, nor exercise in such a public forum. However, I am attending night classes at the Balance Yoga Studio and can easily say I was hooked after a few. The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, very approachable, and as eager to help the newcomers as the experienced. I don't ever feel silly asking "where should I feel this?" or "am I doing this correctly?" I really love the Yoga Basics class that Ashley teaches on Tuesday nights. The facility is clean, bright and welcoming; parking is free and abundant. I highly recommend this studio to anyone who is interested in yoga, but might be a little nervous to try it out. There is a great student unlimited yoga deal for the first month.

I am not a regular participant in yoga, but a friend of mine who is a private instructor wanted me to try to get back into it. She recommended Balance Yoga, and in particular Pamela's Yin class (for my "limits"). She hit it out of the park. The class was wonderful. Best night of sleep I have had in years afterward, and I didn't wake up with a backache.

Do NOT sign up for this studio. I was here for 3 months and needed to leave the studio because I live in Seattle and this is located in Woodinville. The owner did not let me quit and wanted 30 days written notice to be taken off automatic payment. I am still paying for the studio even though I haven't been there in months. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

My hubby and I have been to a few yoga studios and we like practicing at Balance Yoga. I am an average yogi and love that they aren't drill sergeants, but are in tune to those who are practicing. My hubby was unable to touch his toes when he started out, but now he can touch them! Even his back pain diminishes with regular practice.
The atmosphere is fun, but can be challenging if you so desire. I've seen all levels of practice in classes. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Like the variety and amount of classes that are offered. Studio, bathrooms and showers are clean. Though I would prefer that shoes be taking off at the door, so that whatever are on people's shoes doesn't get tracked around. Studio is roomy, not usually packed, and has lots of windows.

Balance Yoga was suggested to me by my chiropractor. I am rather shy & trying new things alone can be intimidating for me; but not at Balance Yoga. When I walked in the door to inquire on the programs available I immediately felt at ease. Both employees and other clients treated me like I was already a part of the group. Everyone was encouraging, friendly and supportive, and I left my first class feeling like I wanted to come back right away. The studio is beautiful, bathrooms and changing areas are comfortable and clean. The atmosphere is both positive and relaxing and the instructors are professional and very helpful. Balance Yoga Studio is a wonderful asset in our community and I feel lucky to have found such a great place to work on improving my overall well being and health.

I can no longer do yoga due to back problems and I miss Balance Yoga Studio so much! The teachers are excellent and very knowledgeable. Very clean and quiet, instructors are great and the vinyasa flow and yoga fusion are great. I wish they offered those a little more often instead of the stretching classes in the evenings for people who work later hours. Also, they keep the studio very warm so be ready to sweat! It's a nice option for people who find hot yoga a little too hot... The classes are a little pricey but I think close to average.

I started taking classes at Balance a few months ago. I am so happy to have found this studio - it is perfect for me in every way. Every week, I take a variety of classes from different instructors. I like all of the instructors and each one is different, which helps create a well rounded yoga education and experience. The studio is warm, friendly and inviting. I like that there are no mirrors as I find them to be a major distraction.
Balance is not only conveniently located but also quite affordable. I pay only $65 per month - unlimited. Considering I'm taking 4-5 classes a week, I'm getting more than my money's worth.
Another thing that I like about Balance is the community. I've met so many great people in my classes. There are all different levels in every class too. I know I can always modify for my particular needs.

★ 5

The best part of Balance Yoga Studio are the teachers-- there are a lot of them, and they all teach differently, even within the same class style. Because of that, I have learned to appreciate the fact that I'm not always going to get what I came for that day, but that I'll leave with what I need. Sometimes that's an extra push to keep trying inversions and sometimes it's the reminder that it's okay to not push too hard and go with how I'm feeling.

There are classes are suitable for all skill levels and most of them are at times that even a workaholic can attend. The studio itself has no mirrors, so I may not be able to visually check my alignment, but I'm also far less self-conscious and more focused on my practice. The space also gets great natural light during the summer. Overall, it's a great place to practice.

I have been to many, many yoga studios and Balance is by far one of my favorites.

Filled with kind, friendly teachers and a variety of classes, you're sure to find your perfect fit. My favorite class was the Power Vinyasa or the Vinyasa Flow, them moving a bit faster (more of the "exercise" side of yoga) than the other classes. The only downside I can think of would be the fact that they don't offer my favorite class, Hot Bikram Yoga.

Overall wonderful experience here!

I'd never done yoga before trying Balance Yoga Studio in Woodinville. The staff was very friendly, and helped me understand what each class focused on, and helped me decide where I might fit best. I've tried several different classes with a few different instructors, and I've enjoyed every one of them. One drawback is that they don't offer HOT yoga. The power vinyasa class is heated, but not to temperatures usually found at hot yoga studios. Regardless, I totally recommend Balance Yoga Studio to anyone looking for a place to practice.

There aren't a lot of yoga studios that aren't hot yoga and some of the community center type yoga classes are often taught by people who don't have a lot of experience. My daughter and I went to Balance after a friend recommended the studio and we have been going for almost a year now. I had no yoga experience before and love how Antonella teaches the basics class. I never felt out of place and she is awesome at explaining how and why you do a certain pose. The studio has a very calm feeling and all the staff seem very dedicated and inviting. As bigger uncoordinated fella (6'5") I was extremely apprehensive of going to yoga. But my wife convinced me to go with her and did. The classes were unexpectedly fulfilling. Even though I initially knew none of the poses the instructors were helpful in helping me stretch and work through the poses. I have practiced yoga for over 7 years, and have tried almost every studio in the greater Seattle area (Oahu and San Diego too). I am always pleased when I find a studio that is worth writing a 5-star review for, and Balance is now one of them.

The studio is beautiful, clean, and peaceful and the instructors are awesome. Brian Pittman is my favorite teacher, but overall each instructor offers something unique and truly just wants their yogis to enjoy their practice.

They offer a variety of classes for all skill levels, so I have recommended to several of my friends who are beginners too.

The prices are reasonable and actually less expensive than what I've encountered at other studios, which is really outstanding considering the quality of the instructors.

I highly recommend Balance for anyone seeking a positive, friendly and high-quality yoga experience! Namaste!
