I worked with Brett and Lydia for about 8 weeks, and I got a lot more out of it than I ever thought I would!
I was hesitant to do personal training with anyone. I was worried I wouldn't like it and that after a couple sessions I might even start canceling. That never happened. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy my workouts with these 2, but going to BC Fitness became a high point of my week.
The work they have you do is challenging in a very good way. It never felt like too much.
Brett and Lydia are both very patient, chill, hard-working, and attentive to your workout goals.
Brett gave me a great amount of nutrition advice during our sessions, which has vastly helped improve my eating habits that I have fortunately continued to keep up with for several weeks now. He's also a great guy who isn't in this for the money. He genuinely wants to help people who are struggling with eating and exercise. He's excited to see your progress which, of course, will motivate you to continue to want to see it for yourself.
Lydia is awesome at making sure your form is correct when executing the weightlifting moves and is very knowledgeable in her skills. She is also very sweet and fun to have girl time with!
If anybody reading this is hesitant to start personal training for financial reasons just look at it like this (because I did): these guys are here to teach you how to do this stuff on your own and to be successful with your future health. It's a "teach a man to fish" kind of concept and to me that made this well worth the cost!

What I really appreciate about BC Fitness is that they are not a cookie cutter let's do cardio type of fitness studio, they are not a "Let's jump on boxes" type of fitness program. I have been training with Coach Brett virtually for the past month. He and I spent an hour discussing my health and fitness goals, as well as any potential challenges that might arise. The thing that impresses me the most about Brett is how quick and easy it is to get a workout in that leaves me feeling like I really did something worthwhile. Simply put, I was not happy with my physical appearance so much that it was affecting me mentally. I wanted to get fit and just be the best version of myself. Having mobility issues I didn't think I could any of the workouts and did not want to go to a gym trainer because that just seemed intimatating.
Having BC Fitness be with me every step of the way has been life changing. Not only did I learn the correct workouts and how my form should be, I also learned proper nutrition. Since starting to work with BC Fit Studio my goals have started to become more attainable and my overall fitness level and confidence has massively increased. The workouts are designed specifically for me and my goals and are hard enough to be challenging while being reasonable enough to push through to completion. Before starting I was not at all confident with movements or form but since starting my mind-muscle connection has strengthened and it has amplified the results from my workouts. Brett is friendly and keeps your goals in mind while planning workouts and during training sessions.
