I’m so happy I joined this studio! The instructors are so very talented and highly skilled, each with their own style so you always get something different. Jen’s vinyasa class is so unifying and soul cleansing, it’s a highlight of my week. Deck yoga in the summer with views of the bay is an unbeatable experience. A welcoming experience for new and experienced yogis alike.

Had a beautiful class here while visiting a couple of weeks ago. I have unfortunately forgotten the instructor’s name, but she was a very skilled, talented, empathetic teacher! Everyone at the studio was very welcoming and professional. Hard to beat this setting and view too. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I love this studio. My favorite part is walking into the cool old building right next to the ocean, smelling the sea to remind me how lucky we are to live in such a cool place. The studio is clean, organized, and staffed with the kindest people and always the perfect temperature. There is a wide variety of classes and teachers. I have hip issues and my husband is 35 and loves a good workout, so I appreciate that there is a place for every kind of yoga practitioner here. I love classes with Clair because she has such a deep understanding of the body.

Started coming here for rehab from a shoulder Injury. Great instructors and good programming definitely is helping recover not just from my shoulder injury but I feel stronger and flexible overall. Definitely recommend this place for new and old yoga practitioners.

Great spot for a massage. Cool building and Leisl is a FANTASTIC massage therapist. She has helped my body aches during pregnancy and post running injuries. I call my massages with her the “runner’s special”. She knows exactly what is needed for a stiff body along with the relaxation needed for a busy mind. Highly recommend!

The massage therapy program at BYC is exceptional. You can’t go wrong with Caroline or Liesl! I have had amazing experiences with both of them and felt so supported and cared for. Beyond providing a superb massage experience Caroline and Liesl are kind hearted humans. Go and get a massage at BYC when you can. It’s a treat.

I just read a review about massage therapist Liesl, who practices here at BYC. I respectfully disagree. Liesl is a caring, thoughtful, and practiced therapist. I’ve been going to her for two years, and have always had a wonderful experience. She spends time before the massage to check in with me, both physically and emotionally, to assure that what she is offering is what I need each time. I went through a very stressful period at the end of last year that included some neck and upper back strain, and she focused on those areas at my request, which was incredibly helpful in a really rough period. I have recommended her to others who have also reported good results with her. I’m so sorry for another’s experience (though train noise is completely outside any practitioner’s control), and different folks have different needs, but without any reservation whatsoever, I highly recommend Liesl as a massage therapist.

Normally, reviews are not my thing and today I’m compelled to share my love and gratitude for the BYC community. I have the pleasure of practicing as a student and teacher at BYC and continue to feel inspired everyday with the amazing people involved and the dynamic life that’s happening in those walls and into the greater community. Claire has an infinite well of love for yoga and it’s impact on our community. I get to learn and grow from each person that comes through the BYC doors, and I want to say thank you!

Do not buy a gift card here. Redeeming it will cause you more stress than you can relieve with a massage.

The most relaxing space to practice. Excellent instructors who are approachable, knowledgeable and professional. Many classes with different practices of yoga EACH day. Affordable packages to try out studio. I bought collective membership and go daily, trying new classes often. Childcare available and affordable. Even teen classes for my daughter. She has discovered a new passion with peers her age and hopefully a healthy lifelong practice.
