I can't say enough good things about Big Fun Fitness and its owner Polly! Polly is an amazing trainer. Her positivity and inclusiveness have kept me coming back session after session. Polly's belief in Health at Every Size is one of the biggest reasons that I come to Polly's classes. She keeps the focus on doing the best in the body you have right now, not the body you think you "should" have. I'm stronger and more confident since coming to Big Fun Fitness and it's all because of Polly and her amazing skill as a teacher! Big Fun Fitness is the best!

BFF is truly a gem: rare, and so valuable.
Polly Hawver of Big Fun Fitness is a caring, knowledgeable, encouraging exercise coach. She hand picks exercises for each class's workout, combining them thoughtfully to create a dynamic workout using all muscle groups. Each class includes a variety of fun modalities, all of which Polly demonstrates beforehand so everyone knows how to be effective and safe. Additionally, Polly always offers modifications for exercises to accommodate different fitness and mobility levels. At BFF, proper exercise form and having a can-do attitude are important; using the biggest kettlebell or doing the quickest burpee is not. Polly embraces exercising as a consistent celebration of all bodies’ (sometimes unexpected!) capabilities, not as a miserable means to an end.
Last but not least, just like Polly, BFF participants are welcoming, friendly, and positive—BFF is a great community to work out with!

Working with Polly at Big Fun Fitness has changed my life! After unsuccessfully trying to manage and decrease chronic pain from osteoarthritic knees and stress injuries through physical therapy I am now, 4 months later, finally free of the knee, shoulder and neck pain. I can run up stairs, snowshoe up mountains and manage weights I never thought possible!
Polly is compassionate, intuitive, and keeps me motivated with her upbeat personality and professional knowledge base. Workouts are never boring, always fun, tough but invigorating, and with every session I learn more about how I can carry this new strength into every aspect of my life. With Polly and Big Fun Fitness I have discovered there are no limits to what I can do!

I'm so glad I found Big Fun Fitness. It's everything I dreamed of and more! Polly is so friendly, encouraging, and funny. The classes are fun and engaging. Since I started going a few months ago, I've gotten stronger and some chronic aches and pains have disappeared. The atmosphere is open and everyone is welcome. I never feel judged and that's so important to me. It's, well, pretty much the funnest club in town!

Are you looking for a place that is fun, inclusive, body positive, queer-friendly, super supportive, lots of laughter, and an awesome workout? If so Big Fun Fitness is your place, and Polly is your trainer. I have never had such a good time working out before. I'm so lucky I found this place.

Big Fun Fitness was exactly what I needed when I didn't even know I needed it. Coach Polly is inviting, warm, and positive. During our first meeting she was comprehensive in explaining her approach and philosophy for fitness and training. I appreciated that she wanted to hear from me what my goals were - there was no judgement or coercion. At my first class Polly was welcoming and made sure I was introduced to the other people in the class. The class environment is fun and comfortable but make no mistake! This is a great work out and if you want to push yourself you will have the support to do that. Polly is really great at modeling correct form and watching you to ensure you are not going to hurt yourself by doing an exercise incorrectly. The proof for me is the fact that I want to return to class and I feel stronger and more energized in my daily life.
