Bindi Yoga Center in Lynnwood will always be the Gold Standard of yoga studios. Having moved away from the Lynnwood area, I’ve been to multiple studios around the Seattle area and nothing will ever top Bindi. From the facilities to the instructors, this studio is amazing. They offer an amazing array of class types at different times with incredible instructors. They offer options for how you purchase classes (class passes, memberships, lots of specials, etc.) The community that they’ve grown is so supportive and welcoming. We all consider this place our home away from home. During the pandemic, they did everything they could to keep the yoga community together, even when they themselves were struggling, and I’m forever grateful. Michelle and Susan (the owners) are the sweetest and goofiest people you’ll ever meet. You’ll have a hard time not loving them. The instructors are all so knowledgeable and have their own touches to each class.
Special mention: Shanah Walter.
There’s not a single soul who couldn’t be friends with Shanah. Her Sunday morning classes are often referred to as “church”- they’re the perfect balance of exercise, love, and wisdom. She makes everyone feel special, when she is the most special of all. I personally drive from Redmond to her Sunday class because it’s so important to me and my yoga/spiritual journey.
I am so thankful for Bindi and the phases of my life they have seen me through. They’ve mastered what a yoga studio should be - a welcoming, inclusive, get what you need out of it community. Much love and light!

I’ve come here for years but I guess they’ve changed their policies that you must be 5 minutes early to class or they lock you out. I was not made aware of this when I signed up and as someone with anxiety and the need for literal instructions, it is rigid and an awful experience to feel like you didn’t make the cut for class when you showed up a minute early.

I have been practicing at Bindi for many years now and have seen so much change and growth. I love the welcoming atmosphere and the sense of community. The array of classes they offer keeps me engaged and always looking forward to my next visit. There is something for everyone. I am so thankful they survived Covid, I truly need yoga in my life and I feel at home at Bindi ❤️

Took my very first flight class with Bradie and 100/10 recommend! She was super friendly, eased all nerves and made the me feel confident. I’m looking to move to Lynnwood come the fall, and I can’t want to start taking more classes here.

Bindi Yoga in Lynnwood is a welcoming, supportive community - a great place to practice yoga. Every age, gender, ethnicity, body shape is welcome, absolutely no judgement. There are showers and changing rooms. A heated and non heated studio. There are several styles of hot yoga offered: power vinyasa, slow flow, and Hatha. Yin and Prenatal in a non heated room. Even aerial yoga! ALL the teachers are outstanding! All with wonderful energy, committed and inspiring. COVID protocols: masks are optional. Floors and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned between each class. New student special: 2 weeks unlimited for $45!

This place is great! I've tried most of the studios in this area and this one definitely feels the friendliest and most diverse as far as class offerings and teaching styles. No two classes are the same! The studio is clean and has many great amenities. The only thing I'll note is that they don't follow the traditional Bikram posture sequences which i know some people look for and love in hot yoga (including me!); but the classes are challenging and i feel WONDERFUL afterwords - both physically and emotionally thanks to the instructors welcoming vibes and fun energetic yogis. Thank you Bindi yoga!

I'll preface my review with the following:
* I hold a 200-hr yoga teacher training certificate and was previously registered with Yoga Alliance
* For classes, I arrive a minimum of 10 minutes early because I like to settle in on my mat before class begins
* I read all of the reviews (Google, Yelp, FB, etc.) before making the decision to try this studio
We recently relocated to Edmonds, WA and I wasn't looking for a yoga studio. While grocery shopping with my spouse, Bindi caught my eye and I immediately checked out their website and schedule when I returned home. I was pleasantly surprised to see 6-7A classes available, since this is the ideal timeslot for me.
I signed up for Hot Slow Flow with Michelle for Monday a.m., left my house (approx. 2 miles from the studio) at 5:40 a.m. and arrived at the studio at 5:45 a.m. We're still unpacking and while I know where my yoga mats and props are, they're not easily accessible, so I also knew I would need to buy a yoga mat.
Michelle greeted me at the front desk, introduced me, quickly assisted me with purchasing the yoga mat, and gave me a quick run down of the studio layout. I shared where I was in my yoga journey after my hiatus and she was 100% supportive of me doing what was best for ME.
Hot Slow Flow was the perfect gateway back to my asana practice. I absolutely LOVE Michelle's classes. I say classes because you betcha I returned for Wednesday morning's Hot Power Vinyasa class. Wednesday's class was a little more full than Monday's and I suspect that's because it's Power Vinyasa.
Anywho, this is the studio for me. I immediately signed up for an unlimited membership and then booked approx. 2 weeks worth of yoga classes. Oh, and the yoga mat I purchased, while a little more expensive than what you might find on Amazon, SO. WORTH. IT. I love it. I am so looking forward to rebuilding my personal journey here.
If you focus on the negative reviews, you'll find a common theme: time management and a certain level of entitlement. I did not experience any of this in my visit, but I also have high expectations of myself in delivering what I consider social obligations (no tardiness, paying attention while driving so that I don't hold up others, etc.).

I go here sometimes. Whenever I am able to get into one of Kellie's work shops I make sure to go! I've even brought my friends because of my great experiences. I am a bigger guy but they have always made me feel comfortable and that gives me the courage to push myself. I can't recommend Bindi Yoga enough-especially if you're able to get in to one of Kellie's classes. Definitely recommended.

This is the most amazing and inclusive yoga studio I have ever been to. The owners are caring and concerned, the instructors each bring something special to the room and the students will include you, or let you be, as you wish.
The yoga rooms are embracing and great thought has been given to students comfort. I’ve attended classes here for years and always leave class feeling lighter, brighter, stronger and happier. If you are looking for a studio, check Bindi out.

I love Bindi Yoga! My co-worker, a member of 5 years told me about this studio. After trying the 1 month new student special, the classes, teachers, and the people made it clear to me that this was my studio, so I decided on a membership! My husbands even in on it too, so we get to practice yoga together! Bindi yoga feels like a little home. They do their best to provide a safe, fun, and relaxing atmosphere. I do feel bad that the office needs to deal with some unhappy neighbors from the catering company next door, but Bindi is always very professional about it. (Just be sure to check in with the office about where to park as space is limited) Also, Bindi yoga cares about their students! They go above and beyond to make sure their students feel cared for, even sometimes offering fruits and breakfast foods in the morning classes. Thank you for all you do, Bindi!

I’ve been coming to Bindi for over a year now. I love this studio and the community so much. The atmosphere is friendly and non-pretentious. The instructors and staff are fantastic! They have two rooms, and a wide variety of classes available. Christine’s power vinyasa class is my absolute favorite. Her classes are super challenging, but she creates a motivating and lighthearted environment to practice. I really appreciate the varied styles of the instructors. I get something new out of every class. Thanks for existing, Bindi!

I have been coming to Bindi for years! Amazing classes with great teachers. I have gotten strong mentally and physically here. Yes like most studios they have a policy where if you are late you cannot come in. Pretty standard for a yoga studio as it is disruptive to class. If you are caught in traffic try calling 5 minutes before arrival to see if they can set up a space for you. I was taking class when the person was late and said they were "knocking" on the doors.. they banged on the front doors and also the studio doors about 6 times. I would've called the cops if I was at the front desk. It was scary to all the students in the classroom.

Do not bother going here if you are one minute late for a class. I was on my way combing through traffic and it doesn’t help that their parking lot has ten spots. Even if you get there early, you are fighting for a parking spot and that will also make you late for your class as well. The doors were locked and I understand class is in session but there shouldn’t understaffing if there’s so many customers in the first place. Everything is so cramped, I came to relax and unwind, not the opposite. The hot yoga teacher threaten the cops on me and two other ladies because we were knocking on the door to be let in. I am now very uncomfortable in that space and cancelled my membership. Not to mention, next door there’s a catering company opening soon so good luck with finding any parking in the future. Owner just cares about a profit at the end of the day.

I was in Lynwood this past Saturday for a very small visit, and as I always do, I sought out the closest yoga studio to my hotel. Which in the case was Bindi. Front desk girl was young and friendly. Teacher Christine who lead the power flow class was not friendly. I too am a yoga teacher of 16 years, and I always make it a point to make sure my new students feel welcome and comfortable no matter if they are a new resident to our city or visiting. Your first experience is everything! Christine is a good teacher. However her ego is too big and needs a reality check. She didn’t introduce herself or give me a run down of the room. After class I thanked her for the class to engage, and she looked at me as if I was a bother to her and she already knew how “fantastic” she was. Check your ego at the door Christine. We are all students for life and there is no room for ego in a class room.

I love this studio and I love everyone in it! All the teachers have such vibrant energies and they make it so easy to connect with them! In the last 8 months I have been coming here I have been feeling more free and more energetic and I have also learned to look at the bigger picture and not worry about the number on a scale or even starving myself through certain diets. The more I practice the less I worry, the better I feel and better eating habbits just form naturally! I even had a personal trainer in the past and I have never connected with him the way I connect with this community. They will encourage you to do better and work harder but will also encourage you to take your time and listen to your body. Also what's really great is that each teacher is knowledgeable in their own way, so I strongly recommend to try them all, at least once, to get the best out of your practice! Xo

Good energy and sense of community at this yoga studio! The management is also very understanding about cancelling a class without paying the cancellation fee in cases of emergency. My only complaint is that at their busy times they pack as many people as possible into their hot room so you end up practicing with 3 inches of space between you and the adjacent mats; not fun in my opinion. But I hear they are moving this spring so hopefully this will not be the case at the new location!

Owner has little to no concern regarding the well-being of clients. Hammocks in aerial classes are placed too close together, and several are placed far too close to a door/wall for safety. I've included a photo below that illustrates the proximity of the hammocks to one another as well as the walls.
When I left a review with the above feedback, the owner responded by terminating my membership at the studio. This was done without any dialogue with me. Two weeks of my pre-paid month of unlimited were lost as well as multiple pre-paid classes I was planning to use afterwards. It has been several days and there is still no refund on my account (if you are are reading this, I have not received a refund. If I receive a refund, I will remove this portion of my review). This is especially upsetting, as I left the review in genuine hopes that the studio would take the constructive criticism and make changes that would genuinely benefit all the women at the studio. Unfortunately, the ego is a fragile thing. Will not be returning!

I first posted a negative review because I was turned away for a class I registered and paid for in advanced. The manager contacted me promptly, gave me a refund and offered to let me try a class for free. I was very appreciative of the gesture and how she quickly resolved my problem.
Note to new customers: in order to attend a class you have to confirm your spot. The transaction alone will not hold your spot.

This studio is full of positive energy and they have a variety of classes taught by different instructors including hot yoga, yin yoga, and aerial. All the staff and teachers are friendly, and the membership rates are great. I appreciate how teachers push the idea that each practice is your own by showing variations to either make you more comfortable or help advance your practice when ready. Aerial classes aren't limited by the ground and have helped increase my flexibility and reduce joint pain.

I like the classes and the instructors, but oh boy, I was cancelled out because of being 1 min late. I had to go through traffic from work to make it. I guess, this place isn't for hardwork moms... The staff is a bit unfriendly for new clients. Not sure if I want to come back.

I have been couple of different hot yoga studios many times, but I loved this studio a lot and I have been taking classes more than 2 years now. Studio is clean, nice and cozy, price is reasonable, teachers are awesome, friendly, respectful. I go there couple of times a week even tough I drive 30 minutes from my house every time. it worth it for me, I love to go there and I get full of energy every time when I am there. I love all the teachers and students. They are so much fun too, and it is good place to be.

wow, what a great studio. I have been to a few hot yoga studios but I feel most comfortable here. The studio is small and cozy. The instructors are awesome and treat you with respect. All of the other people that are there doing yoga have all been so nice. Clean facilities. Took advantage of a great groupon for a month unlimited, but I will be setting up autopay monthly with them after is up. Finally found my studio!
