I joined Lynnwood Body and Brain to help my overall well-being. I’ve been attending classes for a month or so. Most days I feel more energized and flexible, but I didn’t expect my arthritis stiffness to improve so quickly. I almost forgot to mention my mind feels calmer now. I wish everyone could try this!

Body and Brain Yoga changed my life!! After receiving many forms of publicity, for months, about this yoga, I stopped by a local center to inquire about a way to reduce the tightness in my upper body, especially
the chest area. After only one class I felt more relaxed!! That was over 10 years ago and I've been doing this yoga ever since - it has become a part of my life. Through stretching, breathing and meditation I have become more aware of the mind/body connection. I am more calm, relaxed, flexible, my balance is so much better and I am stronger physically and emotionally. The instructors at the Lynnwood Body and Brain are friendly, caring, nuturing and are experienced. I believe it's worth your time to try a class.

I have been coming to Body & Brain Yoga for over 2 years now, after doing Hatha/Ashtanga yoga for 10 years weekly with several other teachers. It's hard to find a yoga place that's truly holistic and was thrilled to find Body & Brain Yoga, which is based on the 5000 year old Tao and simplified martial arts (tai chi/qi gong) energy practices, integrating energy flow in every exercise. Love the tea time following each session.

Initially, I was surprised that I would sweat in dahn yoga doing very simply postures versus acrobatic ashtanga poses where I would never sweat. Now I know its from circulating my blood flow and heat in my body that that happens. It took a lot of practice and I could not initially do several of the breathing postures without pain--but that was all part of how out of touch I was with my body, and now can relax into where ever my body feels pain, toxin build-up, etc. and have my energy cleanse through that, to be truly centered.

Now I go 3x a week, and for the first time, have the ability to calm the thoughts constantly going in my head at will through the many moving meditation exercises, which I do regularly at home or throughout the day. I have truly healed my body, integrating mind, body, and spirit that has me be happier in life.

I came to Body and Brain because I had a lot of stress in my life. I had the introductory session and right away I felt immediate calm, then I took the following class, and I loved it. The slow stretching and flowing music were wonderful. Closing with relaxation and mediation which I had just been learning were the exact relief I needed. I felt great. My racing thoughts from OCD were gone THAT day and 5 months later are still gone! My aches and pains disappeared too. Over the next month I felt so much better. I have grown and improved so much. My energy and health have improved and I am shining my light with a big smile wherever I go! My family and my relationships have improved by my calmness and peace and my sharing of my learning. I have formed SO many new friendships there and everywhere I go because of this and the whole experience has made me strong, physically and emotionally. Thank you Masters Ko and Chris.

I came across a pamphlet that read Body and Brain Energy Meditation. I was instantly intrigued. I had suffered with anxiety and insomnia and thought that this might help. I was timid to go to a group class, learning something brand new, but decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did! I was immediately welcomed and made felt to feel right at home. The classes were very easy to follow. I was introduced to the feeling of energy and how the mind can meet and follow that. The classes are not only very centering and relaxing but very energizing for my body and mind. There are also many different workshops offered too, which I have taken that have really taught me how to focus and use my energy well.
All in all I am so glad I found this way of relieving my stress. It has also helped my body to become very strong and has helped immensely with my anxiety and I am now sleeping better.
I am glad I decided to try something new! This practice has been a life saver and an eye opener for me. I recommend giving it a try! I wish I had found it earlier!

I have experienced great things from this training of nearly 6 months now. However keep in mind, great things are not typically achieved over night. The experiences I have received so far remind me of that movie from the "Karate Kid". Not that they teach karate because the training from the Body n Brain Center is with yoga, tai chi, and meditation. What I mean by this is the journey it takes you on. It teaches you patience and in time, changes you in ways you could not otherwise imagine. The way you begin to create change in your life is first by desire followed by self discipline and persistance. Being open-minded is key.
Thank you to the Masters, Chris and Ko and Ilchi Lee for assisting in changing this world.

The Body & Brain Center in Lynnwood is truly authentic. The philosophy
and methods are Holistic and fully integrated with the sincere intention of
balancing mind, body and emotion. There are many "Yoga Studios" in Seattle,
but none quite like this. The "master teachers" are indeed highly skilled with
many years of training, experience and evolving wisdom.

If one is looking for a long-term pathway to personal health and growth I
would definitely recommend this Center's methods. All ages can benefit.

This place is great! I've been coming here 2 years and will continue here. I am more peaceful and less stressed and have lost weight. This is not a typical yoga place. It is not hot yoga. It is a healing energy practice with stretching and meditating in the classes. My results didn't come overnight, but by practicing consistently 3 to 4 times a week, I feel so much better. I always leave class more relaxed and happier. The instructors are great and make each class a little different so I don't get bored.

When I walked into the Lynnwood Body + Brain Yoga & Tai Chi Center, I was immediately greeted and warmly welcomed into a blissful atmosphere. The center is bright, open, and clean. The lighting and music creates a pure, energetic environment that has allowed for exponential growth in deeper meditation, connecting to my Dahn Jon, and deeper stretching. Connecting my mind and body has opened a whole new world of possibilities for me. In one short month of practice my short-term and long-term goals are finally in sight. My flexibility has increased immensely and my dreams are becoming reality. The Masters are high level; the teachings are rich and dynamic. I feel honored to be practicing with such bold and wise figures.
