Club Pilates in Kent is fantastic! I've worked with a couple of their instructors and they always work my body through the Pilates principles to a point of peace! I've taken classes with other boutique studios and have found myself injured with their inappropriate programming and Instagram worthy level1 flows. I appreciate this studios attention to detail!

Pilates has benefitted my health journey in so many ways. I use it as part of my meditation-it's probably the only time I completely tune in to my body and not think of work. My arms and legs are toned, my balance has gotten better, and I don't rarely feel my planter fasciitus and achiles tendonitus, also my clothes fit better.

I am a 33 year old fluffiyanna who is new to Pilates. This gym is welcoming and accommodating. I’m never intimidated when I walk in nor do I feel out of place. I chose the package that provides 8 classes a month for about $219 and I’m pleased with how much stronger my body feels overall. I’m moving again and looking forward to going. There is a challenge in each class that is enough to keep you guessing, but still not overwhelm you. Instructors will help you and never watch you struggle. I always walkout feeling better than when I walked in. I get 50 minutes of only thinking of myself which to me is a luxury worth investing in. I’m about 2 classes away from my 20, and I love how confident, relaxed, less-stressed and highly motivated I feel.

Highly recommend you invest in yourself in this way. Your body and mind will thank you, greatly. There is no shame here!

I started going to the Kent, WA Club Pilates while visiting family out of state. I took the Reformer 1 class with Ryo. I was impressed how she approached the class, taking the time to learn people’s names and explain why the moves were done the way they were with breathing, etc. She made new people feel very included and was patient teaching first timers. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this location!

I had a fabulous class here with Jessie! The other folks in the class were really nice and we had some fun moments before our class got underway. The workout challenged me and was both classic and unique, the perfect combo. The studio is very clean and organized, very well run. Parking was easy and there was even an across courtyard spot to get a hot tea after class.

Being a visitor from out of state ,I thought I would continue my pilates practice here in Kent. I was so pleasantly surprised at learning new things. I stared going to Club pilates from March this year. I love it so far. I go to three to four times a week. I like most of their instructors and classes. Kent Pilates has been a life changer. I initially came to Pilates to gain upper body strength as I was a caregiver for my mom. It was important for me to be able to help lift her without injuring myself. At the time I was experiencing nerve pain in my left leg and low back pain at 60 years old, I found myself needing to strengthen as well As Work on my balance. Kent Pilates helped me do all of those things. I’ve built friendships/sisterhood as a bonus. The Pilates community is such a wonderful community and I love my teachers. Do yourself a favor and join this community you will never regret it!

During her classes, you really get a good workout and you can just tell she cares because she helps you and makes sure you have the correct form (when other instructors don’t).

I’ll be transparent here. I loved my time here. The instructors are patient and accommodating. I love how you can choose what days & times work best for your schedule. I purchased the package that allowed 8 visits a month which was perfect for me as a 1st timer in Pilates. I paid about $219/month ( $27/per class which are 50 min long) The girls at the desk are so kind and are welcoming; I never felt like I was being judged in this environment. I have so many good things to say about this location. The cost of Pilates can be a little high but I urge you to take the step to invest in your health. I believe the cost is well worth it. You will be challenged and you’ll find yourself feeling mentally & physically stronger with time. I’ll be back and when I’m back I’ll be opting for the unlimited classes! I started Pilates about 2 years ago when trying to recover from hip surgery. The reformer work was transformational! The cable system provided support so that I could get a range of motion work out I was unable to get otherwise. I also would share the discovery that there are different styles of Pilates, utilizing the reformer(a piece of equipmet) being specific and not every instructor utilizes it. So I did find I would have to either adapt within a class or change instructors in order to do a mostly reformer workout. But every instructor advises at the beginning to adjust as needed, so it wasn't an issue. I also experienced the move to the new facility and it is beautiful. It also provides enough class space that I was never unable to get into a class I signed up for, even if first wait-listed. All personnel are super friendly, helpful and accommodating. HIghtly recommend.

Love Club Pilates! This is a great studio with fantastic instructors who helped go from a newbie to a stronger Pilates practitioner over nearly two years. The staff is super inclusive and helps everyone modify based on where their bodies are at. I have plenty more to learn, but can’t say enough about how Pilates helped me heal after my Achilles detachment surgery and did for me what 6 months of physical therapy alone couldn’t accomplish. Love the small (<12 ppl) groups and instructor attention! I prefer the Center & Balance and Restore classes, but the Flow classes are a great workout when I need something more challenging. Memberships are a little pricey, and it can be a bit challenging to schedule b/c different membership levels have different priority. But the staff, instructors, and management are great - friendly, encouraging, and helpful! I have the 8-class/ month pass, and it has definitely helped me get more movement in my life!

I realllly enjoy working out at Club Pilates. Clean, well maintained environment with exceptional coaches. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced athlete, CP definitely has something for you. Club Pilates made my stressful life livable. When I first joined Pilates, I was going through some very tough times in my life. My body was shaking and my mind was in shambles. They are low on teachers and low on a variety of class options. Also depending on the day and the person, the front receptionist or the person who works the front desk can be rude and off putting.

Also, if I am paying for a full level membership that is suppose to have unlimited class options, why do I have credits? And why do I need to pay for a no show or a cancellation fee. I pay over $200 a month! It hasn’t been explained well and it’s a side effect of capitalism. I love Pilates but I’m not sure how long I’ll continue especially since the customer service is low, the audacity is high, and the prices are increasing smh.

I just upgraded to unlimited (and you will too if you give it a try) within my 3 month commitment. Club Pilates is the most amazing environment I've ever had working out, and I've tried it all. The studio itself is transparent and friendly and informative! It's clean and the equipment is well cared for.

Pilates is not about competition or about showing up at 100% each time. It is about your body and how it works. It is about control of your muscles and mind and breathing. It is about getting stronger and more balanced each time. It's also more often than not about "feet in straps"... and it can also be about cardio if you take those classes, or happen to have an instructor that is extra bouncy!

Each instructor has their own personality and brings their own style to the reformer, which is great and fun to come back knowing what kind of class you will have based on the person. Even in my first class, I felt welcomed and safe and encouraged to only go as far as I could that day.

As someone with chronic low back pain, I can vouch that Pilates done regularly (even at home if you only go in twice a week!) will keep the low back pain at bay (yes they have virtual classes).

I've been going for 2 months and have 12 classes under my belt. I am very excited to continue on this journey with everyone at the studio!

My physician recommended a low impact workout like pilates or yoga due to an arthritic ankle so I tried Club Pilates and I’m so happy that I did! The instructors make it fun and I feel great afterward. I’ve been a member here since September 2022 and I’ve always been able to take at least 3-4 classes a week with no issues even on a wait list. My body is stronger and I’m learning to modify my movements if it doesn’t feel right for my ankle. I highly recommend the Kent location!

I have had mixed experiences with the instructors. While some of them are amazing (Jules and Erika), providing clear and helpful directions, others could improve in this area. Since the class sizes are smaller, I believe there is room for more one-on-one attention to help perfect each movement. Overall, it’s a good club to go to but has room for improvements.

Absolutely love Club Pilates in Kent! After having a baby it was hard to feeling confident and motivated to workout again. All of the staff and the trainers are outstanding! They are attentive and accommodating. Before I found Pilate, I used to have such a bad knee joint that I needed to take Ibuprofen every night but after a couple of months of training, the pain seemed to have gone away. Club Pilates in Kent has been a true haven for me. Moving from California only 2 months ago, I didn’t know many people or places, but they welcomed me with open arms, treating me like family. The sense of community here is remarkable. It’s a place where you not only strengthen your body but also find a supportive & uplifting environment! Like Joseph Pilates says “in 10 sessions you’ll FEEL the difference, in 20 you’ll SEE the difference..” I am already at 20 sessions and my core has changed, my back doesn’t ache, and so much more! I recommend the unlimited package because you can do 2 classes a day if you really wanted, which I have tried a class and a stretching one right after. It feels SO good! $200 for unlimited classes, small group trainings, is still less than buying a Starbucks coffee everyday! If you really want the change, you’ll do it.

I’ve been in Club Pilates for a little over a year. It has been a wonderful experience for my whole body and mind. The instructors make the experience. So thank you Heidi, Erika and Jules! In my opinion, three of the best Pilates instructors in the greater Seattle area. In my classes, CP balance, flow levels 1 through 1.5 and jump cardio 1, those three are the definition of experienced Pilates experts with great personalities that make the classes a physical workout and fun at the same time. If you have any questions or concerns, they are super easy to talk to and don’t talk down to you like some gym/studios do. Classes may seem hard to get into but 9/10 times when you are on the waitlist, you’ll get into that class.

I searched pilates studios from the recommendation of my physical therapist who was starting to know me too well. I had ACL surgery 2 yrs ago then was back for pain in my forearm, and shoulder blades. I needed to stretch and strengthen my core for the activities I enjoyed…skiing and dirt bike riding. I found Club Pilates in Kent near my work location and also learned with an unlimited membership, it was reciprocal with the Newcastle location which is close to my other work location. The memberships are monthly and allow a specific # of classes during that month. I have 8 and can choose any 1.0 level class until I’ve finished 20. This is not related to physical fitness but more readiness after learning the terms and technique. They really stress correct form to prevent injuries. Every instructor I’ve had in Kent is highly trained and knowledgeable. The classes are under 10 participants so the instructor is always monitoring form. The staff is super friendly and helpful getting you into the classes you want. The studio is very clean, calming with natural light and soft music. There is so much variety in the equipment, I am never bored but always comfortable with the clear instructions on each movement. This has been a great experience and has definitely helped strengthen my inner core, be more balanced and relaxed from lots of breathing. Thankful I found such an awesome club to start my journey to health!

I joined Club Pilates in June 2023. I went to the gym occasionally before, but I didn’t like how I had to do everything by myself. So, I looked into a place where there is an instructor and for me to just follow and not think about what I am doing. Then, my friends recommended Pilates, and I signed up for an introduction to Pilates. Lisa was my instructor; it was very fun. I signed up for 8 classes to try it out; however, after a week of classes, I feel in love with it and signed up for unlimited. Until now, I have am still doing pilates. The scheduled time makes me get up from my bed and go enjoy my pilates rather than always procrastinating going to the gym. The instructors of club pilates are very nice and welcoming. I enjoy going to every class session. Joining club pilates gave me more self-confidence. I used to not wear leggings because it made my body look weird, but after I took pilates, I got more used to it, and I feel better in my own body. Thank you to Club Pilates; I enjoy every class.

I love Pilates. I have been working out for over 30 yrs. Personal trainers, classes, gym memberships. In the 3+ years I’ve been doing Pilates and at this age I am so much stronger than I have ever been. Overpriced and BOOORRRRINGGGGG. I wouldn’t come here again.

The workouts felt like I was going to physical therapy. The coaches were basic and the vibe was less than energetic. Also when I tried to work out my last month they forced me to pay an additional month. They wouldn’t return my calls to work with me as I didn’t get to attend any classes that last month. My account is paid full but never making that mistake again with this gym.
