I am 76 years old and starting pilates for the first time. I decided to get some one on one training to help me get started. I am learning alot about both pilates and how to best strengthen and tone my body. Emily is a great teacher and coach! Just completed my first month of Club Pilates and it Happily checked off all my boxes. From the start staff reached out, giving me one on one personal attention to my individual needs. The environment is so relaxing and with state of the art equipment. Trainers all demonstrating a strong knowledge and skill sett, each with their own style and personality giving me a great workout and having fun at the same time. And you meet the nicest people, it’s a win-win!

I wanted to love it. The staff is great. Class availability is awful if you work a M-F and want to take a 1.5 level class. No classes on Sunday, which is insane considering the cost is for $280/month for unlimited classes. Level 1 classes are a mild stretch, level 1.5 difficulty varies greatly depending on the instructor. Need more classes availability, consistency between instructors, and to be open on Sunday to a $280/mo premium.

I was nervous to show up for the intro class, but it was a very welcoming atmosphere! When I arrived there was a class going with women of a wide span of ranges. Rebekah led the intro class and she was kind and knowledgeable! The ladies at the front desk did a great job of telling me their package options, but also not being extremely pressuring about signing up that day. Gonna sign up and give it a go!

I started with Club Pilates when the South Hill location opened in the summer of 2021, and I’m now nearing 500 classes! This is the first exercise program I’ve ever truly stuck with, and I still look forward to each class. The full-body workouts are amazing—I’ve built strength, improved my balance, and discovered how much I truly enjoy Pilates.

Love this studio! The equipment is in good condition and clean. The instructors are super friendly and helpful, offering modifications on exercises to make things easier or more difficult. They also offer suggestions to modify exercises if you’re recovering from an injury. Everyone is so nice, we love going to do Pilates here!

I’m almost 60, and I feel like Pilates is such a great investment in my future—improving my posture, balance, and mobility. I’ve taken nearly 250 classes at Club Pilates, and the cardio class is my favorite! Jumping on the springboard has given me leg muscles I’ve never seen before—it’s fun, challenging, and such a great workout. If you haven’t tried cardio yet, you’re missing out!

My favorite group exercise class I’ve ever signed up for! Every class is a full body workout and it incorporates moves from Pilates, ballet bar, body weight exercises, etc. whoops your butt but is still accessible if you’re recovering from injuries. I had an introductory class and it was simply amazing @ The south hill location in Spokane. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. My instructor Tiffany was the best! She made my introduction to Pilates so easy. I was made to feel very comfortable and NOT judged so much so that I joined this amazing program as soon as I was done with my class. I highly recommend! Just know that you will feel the benefits the next day meaning your muscles will be soar, but the good kind of soar. Just do it it’s a game changer!!!!

Every aspect of the signing up process, booking classes, the front desk team, and the session itself was a great experience. Hannah is wonderful and I left my first real reformer class feeling uplifted and stretched and knowing this is going to help with lasting repair and strength even further than the extensive PT I've had over the last 2 years.
If helpful to another prospective client to read, I am 20 months postpartum after a dangerous and painful pregnancy followed by an emergency cesarean and then multiple complications following birth. PT was painful. Even low impact workouts at home are painful. This is the least painful way my body has been worked in a very long time and I also know from my very sore calves and core that it is working!

For someone considering a Club Pilates membership, please read. I’m pretty dissapointed in Club Pilates and there’s several things someone seeking to join should be aware of.
1) Class level 1 and 1.5 are not difficult. If you’re someone who has an athletic background or works out consistently, these classes will not challenge you. But keep in mind, to get approved for class level 2, you have to have 75 classes, which is not necessary but only a tactic to secure more money from you. And, you have to pay to get “approved” for level 2. They also claim these workshops are offered several times throughout the year, but 4 months later and they still haven’t offered one which is what lead me to cancel my membership. Paying for expensive classes that are not challenging.
2) although classes are usually full a week in advance, Club Pilates makes you use all your classes from a “pack” in that month or you lose them. As someone who has had memberships at several different types of workout studios, this is an unheard of membership policy. Most studios allow your unused classes to roll over into the next month. But again, this appears to be a tactic to secure more money instead of benefit the member.
3) good luck canceling your membership. They require 3 months of consistent pay before you can cancel and even then, they require 30 days notice. I updated my banking information in the application because my card was deactivated and instead of checking the application where they inform you to update banking information, they left me a voicemail saying they’d send me to collections.
4) they will call you and text you non stop to leave them a review. This to me is one of the most problematic things because the 5 star google reviews are likely a result of receiving a ton of texts and calls to leave a review rather than an accurate representation of a review. Which is unfortunate because it’s misleading to people who are trying to seek out a Pilates membership.
My suggestion would be to pay the extra money at one of the other studios. I tried to go the cheaper route with club Pilates and it definitely showed. Overall, very disappointed in Club Pilates and the money that feels wasted over the last few months. Not to mention the last month I’ll be paying and not using.

Love the South Hill studio and instructors (shout out to Libby!!) I’m a newbie to the Pilates reformer machine. The instructors and other members are great about helping me set up. I signed on for 4 classes/month. Tried out a bunch of different classes and class times to find my faves. Wish I could go 4x/week! love the little things like fun facts/quote on each white board next to your station and things like a gift after 10 classes or bedazzled Pilates socks at 100 classes. And the Pilates water is the best!

I've been doing this since June 2024 and here is what I think.
Postives- schedule classes around your life, feel stronger after every class, instuctors are all wonderful, the fellow classmates are all helpful and nice specially when your new, all classes are different don't expect the same routine, I bounce back from level 1 to 1.5 and both classes are work, pilates cardio is no joke so be prepared to sweat, every class I have done I have been very happy with. I don't have a favorite class. I really enjoy all of them. Of course I haven't tried the level 2 yet. Even though I really like all the instructors, Cheryl is probably one of my favorites. She knows how to make every muscles work 💪 but again they are all great instructors.
Not-so-positives. Prices can be kind of expensive, even though it is well worth it for me right now.
Classes can fill up fast in the current week. You have to be prepared a week or 2 in advance with what classes you need to reserve. Sometimes you miss a week or 2 when you are waiting for your credits.
Last negative- I wish they had classes on Friday nights and offered later afternoon Saturdays.

I have had an exceptional experience at Club Pilates. There is a complimentary introduction session showing basic moves and explanationof the equipment. The booking app is easy to use and there are many classes daily to choose from. The instructors are attentive to your special needs of prior injuries and modifications are made. I've been attending Club Pilates once a week for about three months, and I absolutely love it! The classes are fantastic, and they make beginners feel very welcome. Even though I don't go as frequently as some, the front desk staff always make me feel like a regular and even noticed my new haircut. I got overheated during a class and had to leave, and they checked in on me to see how I was doing the next day. Their customer service is superb, and the classes are excellent. Absolutely can’t say enough good things about the practice and art of pilates as well as this most welcoming and comfortable place. As a former competitive rower pilates has aligned in the movements, rhythm, breath and technique that I love so much about my old sport. Now in a new season of life having Pilates as has made most of the things that I miss of being out on the water with a team and a group in motion accessible. The full body workout, balancing, and challenging yet doable classes have leaned my body out in a different way than in my past of bulking up muscle. I feel toned, long and strong. Having back issues and knee issues now, pilates has been a safe practice for me with out triggering those issues and making them worse. The staff here are beyond personable and welcoming, teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and most of all focused on your safety and well being. Jen is absolutely fabulous I must say, personally connecting with each student prior to class and connecting with each of us and being aware of individual aches, pains and injuries. She and all staff make sure to make any modifications to movements that accommodate everyone's needs without feeling singled out. After every class I always feel so glad I came and big bonus for having a full body workout and stretch with a trainer all in 50 mins! No brainer most bang for your buck workout!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I am on the unlimited plan which lets me choose quite a few classes at once. It took about a week to get a class but after that intial lag I can usually get a class any time I want, you just need to plan ahead. I’ve only gone for a month but I can already feel the difference and lost a bit of weight. I’m definitely getting stronger every time I go. I’d highly recommend!

She also would let you know if you needed to correct the way you were doing a certain exercise. I am looking forward to my next scheduled classes.

We took the introductory class at the valley location, everyone was so friendly, happy and helpful in answering all of our questions, etc.
I was excited to sign up for the 4 classes a month, even though it was going to cost $97 a month. I was disappointed to hear that we had to choose only one location to take our classes, as I was hoping you could go to any location, you can't. I did go ahead and sign up for the 3 month commitment and we decided the South location would be a better location for us. Every single time we've been in, when I've been able to get in to a class, the front desk staff doesn't even acknowledge you, not friendly, not helpful and too busy talking to each other. The instructors at the south location are not overly helpful and do not offer a lot of corrections during the classes. I have taken 7 classes and only 1 instructor was an active help before during and after class, she was a sub for another instructor. Also, when you sign up for anything other than unlimited , you get credits issued to you at the start of your "month" to use them. So, you get your credits loaded and every class up to 8 days after are all booked. You then have to join the wait list , but then you have to keep checking to see if the spot opens up even up until minutes before class and then book the class. Your credit is held up during this time, so unless you book way in advance and don't have to reschedule any ever, you'll probably be ok and able to navigate this. I found this stressful and a waste of time. The last wait list I got put on I was 2nd in line, an hour before class I missed that the spot opened up, didn't book in time and then the class shifted to full and wasn't able to book at all. My niece got into that class and there were open spots, so I could have gone.
It's frustrating. All this to say, I have decided to cancel my membership. I called to find out how to do this. Someone who answered the phone said they would email me a cancel form, they did, I filled it out, sent it back and asked that someone let me know they got it. No one called, no one emailed. I took the paper form in to the studio in person and the front desk girl was so rude, looked at the form and stone faced looked at me and said " your good thanks" and pushed the the paper aside and continued to talk to the instructor. Not one person has asked me why I want to cancel. Sad😔

Club Pilates has such amazing teachers who are knowledgeable, helpful in accommodating varied skills and limitations, and personable. Every class is different, so I’m not bored or distracted. I can’t say enough about how wonderful these classes have been for me. The classes helped me build strength prior to a surgery and have helped in my rehabilitation post surgery.

Yesterday's class was just what I was hoping for, although, I did have to take a couple breaks since I've not been working out for awhile. Sadly It takes longer as you get older. I would like to be able to take that particular class every Tuesday. And after a while perhaps twice a week. I had a shoulder injury when I started and with consistent work with physical therapy and a lot of Pilates classes, I recovered. I love this club!! I never did Pilates before I just heard so many Great benefits and stories. I absolutely love going to every class! I was worried I was going to feel out of place or that it was obvious I had no previous experience in Pilates, but everyone has been beyond nice and helpful! In January, 2024, it was two years since I found my happy place…South Hill Club Pilates! Retired after a 30-year career in teaching, I needed something to get, and keep, me moving. With a goal of 3x a week, I look forward to each class. A bonus is my daughter started with me. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and fun. In the beginning, my right hip flexor was not “flexing”. At all. With their expertise, knowledge and encouragement, it’s 100%. I’ve gained flexibility, strength, and awareness of my posture. I have been attending classes at Club Pilates for going on 2 years. The instructors are fantastic and their staff are very helpful. Classes have a total of 12 reformer with workout stations. There are numerous types of classes to choose from beginner to advanced, even private classes if you choose. I have met many new friends at the Club and get the best workouts I’ve ever had. If you like low to moderate impact workouts, give pilates a try. Getting in the best shape of your life really can be an enjoyable experience!

Club Pilates (South Hill) is a great place to work out. The studio is clean and fresh. Equipment is well maintained. Location and parking are easily accessible. Class sizes are small enough to allow personal attention during workouts. The app for scheduling/canceling/reminding of/checking in for/tracking classes is easy to navigate and easily integrates with iPhone & Apple Watch. Instructors and other staff are very personable. I always feel welcome here. I did find it beneficial to upgrade to an unlimited plan in order to book out classes up to a month in advance due to my work schedule.

The Club Pilates Studio on the South Hill offers many excellent instructors. These instructors provide challenging, but doable workouts that address the whole body. The workouts are varied, and one never gets bored. The front desk personnel are very helpful, and extremely kind. Club South Pilates provides a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Several of the instructors also teach at the other Club Pilates studios in the area. Therefore, I imagine all of the area studios provide the same positive experience.

I've been a member of Club Pilates for several months and, in short, it has been life changing! All of the employees make the experience enjoyable- from the front desk to the instructors. There are a lot of different classes offered at all different times of day so I always find something that fits my schedule.
