Dynamic Edge Athletics All Star Cheerleading and Tumbling is a competitve cheerleading program in Tacoma, WA, offering various youth activities. We are unique because of the people that we serve. We are a veteran owned and operated gym offering a family-friendly environment to cultivate all levels of cheer and tumbling. My 9yo daughter started tumbling here in 2021 after Covid stopped her gymnastics classes and we decided we no longer wanted to drive all the way to Dupont. After a quick Google search I found this gym was just 11 minutes away from our home so I decided to give it a try. 4 years later and she's gone from a novice to a prep team and absolutely loves it! My 6yo also started tumbling here in 2023 and just finished her first year on a novice team.
I've seen this gym grow leaps and bounds in size since we started and Sabrina the owner has always been kind and supportive to the athletes and parents. My 9yo daughter met one of her closest friends here and the experience has been everything you could ask for in a cheer gym!

It is obvious that the owner of this gym loves what she does and wants the best for these athletes. My daughter felt welcomed and encouraged by this staff. The atmosphere is upbeat, fun, and supportive. Very impressed with this gym!

My granddaughter attends this DEA. She loves to cheer and wasn't on board with the snobbery or backstabbing that runs rampant in her local squad. Here she just cheers. I am looking forward to the travel and competitions. The gym is well equipped and the coaches are very professional. Like I said, nice change.

My family has the utmost respect for the Dynamic Edge Athletics family! If you are looking for a supportive, body positive, encouraging, fun, engaging, and loving team, then this is it! We shopped around for cheer gyms before unanimously deciding on DEA. The owners from start to finish have been deep down genuine and transparent individuals. Sabrina, the owner, especially holds a place in our hearts because of her gentle character and care that she has given our daughter. Sadly, we had to leave this gym after months of trying to make it work due to moving, but it was not a practical decision to stay. Had we not moved we would have hands down stayed for as long as we could. Aside from the owners time, attention, and support the coaches are phenomenal! They give the right amount of push to encourage the girls, but are also very supportive with their needs. Coach Brielle has always had my daughters best interest in mind throughout the whole season as well as coach Courtlyn and Coach Kianna. Last, but not least, the athletes themselves bring the whole company together because they themselves provide a nourishing environment for their team mates. We came from a gymnastics background where the environment was competitive and team mates were not supportive and we were honestly afraid of that type of sportsmanship with cheer. However, we did not have any problems with the current girls on team. Team parents, I cannot leave them out either because they are amazing whenever we interacted with them too! We are so sad to be leaving DEA, but are so grateful to have been introduced to the cheer world with everyone at DEA. Great people here at DEA!

Great staff and facilities. Really unique experience for athletes given DEA’s relationship with complete athlete. The progression program is great for athletes growing and learning. Best cheerleading and tumbling in Tacoma Washington. I love their philosophy surrounding what it means to “Own the Edge”.
